After a leave of absence I returned today with Saaz after being okay with my threading artist, Jeet, not being there anymore! HOLY MOLY! This girl is phenomenal and my brows are not one to mess with. You over pluck even the slightest brow and I am done for. Saaz is so patient and kind and honestly I admire her work ethic. I found this place through yelp and drove right over. The girl that did my eyebrows did exactly as I asked and I was able to redeem the yelp offer. As reached for a business card after paying, she asked "Oh, you've never been here?" She took a card and flipped it over, revealing the stamp card boxes for returning customers. Paid about $10 + a $2 tip for threading... it was great! They took me in right away once I called ahead. It didn't hurt as much as Brow & Beauty Bar in the Spectrum and the threaders were young women in their 20s/30s, which made communication that much easier. I was also impressed that they had an iPad pay system, and a public bathroom which was pretty nice, as well. I had a wonderful experience at Pretty Threading. Pretty took lots of time helping me choose the amount of threading I wanted. I've had threading done elsewhere before, but nobody has ever measured a specifically as she did to ensure a precise look. The salon is nicely decorated and the location is great! Once you find Gateway Center, you don't have to look very long to find the shop. But, the best thing is that the price is right. I wanted to try a henna tattoo before going for the real thing, it was something fun and different. The original appointment had to be delayed but Arkshata was happy to see me on the Sunday and the work went way beyond their normal closing time. I kind of had a bumpy start to my first visit here but considering the finished product, I have to give this place 4 stars. At first, I called to find out where exactly they were located in that strip mall and the lady who answered the phone didn't really speak English well. When I finally found them (Next to Happy Nails) I walked in and there were 3 people waiting and 1 person working. The person working didn't say hi or tell me to sign in or anything. I was kind of confused and ended up walking out because I was on my lunch break. I went back to work and went onto their website to schedule an appointment hoping that it would make things easier. I requested to schedule an appointment for 4:30 p.m. that same day. I got no call, no e-mail in response. So I just showed up at 4:30. Again, they were busy but this time the owner was there and she did acknowledge me and tell me to sign in and I told her I tried to schedule an apptmt online. She said that it really only works if it's done a day in advance so they have time to check it. Good to know for future visits. She was apologetic and very sweet about the situation. Anyways, I waited 5 minutes and the owner sat me down in the chair and talked to me about the shape/fullness I wanted. I don't have much to work with so I asked her to do what she could to give my brows a little shape. She did an AMAZING job. Like I said, I have very little to work with (overplucked when I was younger) and the fact that she was able to give me such shape really made me so happy. It's the first time I've had such nice eyebrows. I've gone to other places to get my brows threaded but this is definitely the best result I've had. I will be coming back again and again so that she can help me grow my brows out in the right spots. I highly recommend this place. Just be patient and know that it's not the fanciest or up to date location. But they're good at what they do and it's very affordable, so it's worth it! Also, get a punch card. Had a fantastic eyebrow threading experience! Arshata was very thorough and skilled. I am very particular about my eyebrows shape and needed to get some correcting done from the last place that I had been to. Arshata did a phenomenal job and now my eyebrows look great! Threading is much better than waxing! My eyebrows have a great shape and it didn't burn me or cause any temporary or permanent bumps, red marks, blisters, burning or scars. I look good. It was fast and inexpensive :-) Only 4 stars because it hurts a little bit and you have to hold your skin to make it tight during the process. read more

Really great threading place, Pretty is awesome! The other girls who work there do a good job as well, but she's honestly the best. She asks what you're looking for instead of just assuming, and measures your brows a few times to make sure they're symmetrical. I've been to plenty of brow places and have never experienced this! $10 for eyebrows and $13 for lip and eyebrow, hurts like a mother lol but so worth it, and such a good deal! I have been going here for years and they're always done a great job no matter who I go with. But I went in this Tuesday and the girl ruined my eyebrows!! She over plucked and over cut my brows they look terrible and uneven!! If you go in and it's a moderately short young woman do not let her touch your brows! My mom went in the week before and the same woman ruined her brows as well. I do not recommend going with her. Wait for another technician because she will ruin your brows too. read more

I've been coming to this same place for 5 years and have loved working with Saaz. She has made my eyebrows so perfectly exactly what I've always wanted. Before I started coming here every time I got threading they always did it too thin but over the years Saaz has shaped them to be exactly what I've wanted and always talks to me to make sure she does what I want. This was my 3rd time going to get my under-arm threaded. It last for a couple weeks and the hair grows back a lot finer. So each time you go and haven't shaven the hair that grew back, the pain is less. But they do try and make you as comfortable as possible. The Owner was really nice, this was the first time I met her and she did a really fabulous job !! I gave them 4 stars only because I feel like the price to get it done is a little high. I have been coming here since they opened however many years ago. I only get my eyebrows threaded and I just have to say, I only let Saaz touch my eyebrows.
