We had the worst stay ever! So bad that we're never gonna stay here again. The room was totally beat up. broken safe lumpy, horrible bed with terrible bedding. Pillows that were flat and felt like cardboard we Had a crazy window right at the front door, looking in from the street. Anyone could just pop their head up there and look at you while you're in bed. Very creepy and weird. Not to mention light blaring in from all of the windows booked for four nights for over $400 a night and was just absolutely awful. Not one piece of art in this room, air conditioning leaking, dripping down the walls. Place smells musty. The vinyl wood floors are scuffed up in 10 different places. Just a really plain, awful room. And not typical. Some of the other rooms are amazing, but do not book in this one for sure. We will now be looking for other accommodations in Key West. The staff offered us a discount on our future booking instead of giving some sort of concession for this terrible stay we had and not being able to sleep. They also told us we could not move rooms, that there were no other rooms available, and the place appeared to be very empty to us. We never saw more than five people at a time in the pool or common areas.

This place is FANTASTIC!! After a horrible experience at the Banana Bay Marina (N. Roosevelt…read morestreet), we found this gem. The office host was kind enough to let us check the room out before we booked it. The rooms are cool, clean, the bed was beyond comfortable (I'm actually still laying down haha) cute courtyard, friendly staff, parking, close to all the downtown Key West attractions but none of the noise! Lots of great little touches to the property as well, each of the guest houses run by the Key West Inns management has it's own personality. There are bikes available for rent right at the office too, so you don't have to try to track a rental down. Super big thank you to Andrea for being so accommodating, friendly and making great recommendations for the beach and restaurants. The icing on the already glorious cake is, the price!!! Completely reasonable and affordable. It is practically a steal. I'm certainly going to book this guesthouse again when I come back!

We arrived late on Thursday night and was prepared for the late check in by the friendly office staff. It was a breeze getting our key and getting settled in. There was a spot right in front of our cottage that was free parking! (I was afraid we weren't going to find a spot but there was plenty and soo close!!) First walking into the cottage it was a lot nicer and bigger than we expected. There is so much storage and room to put all of your belongings. They provide an ironing board and iron, vacuum, some dishes, coffee with condiments, towels, a safe, plenty of pillows, and soaps! The cottage was very clean! The front porch was so nice to spend our mornings and nights on! All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating! This cottage is in a perfect location and close to everything you want or need! We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! Very close to CVS, laundry mat, scooter/bicycle rentals, coffee, Duval St and much much more! Also, the pool is a nice, quiet, relaxing area where clothing is optional! We would definitely recommend staying here when you go to Key West!

Very Disappointing -- Not Worth the Price…read more Our stay at Eden House was unfortunately very disappointing, especially considering the price. The rooms are much smaller than they appear in the pictures. The photos on the website create the impression of a more spacious and updated property, but the reality was quite different. Several of the amenities we expected to enjoy were also unavailable. Azure House restaurant was closed, the top deck was closed due to construction, and although the property advertises happy hour from 4-6 PM, the Tiki Bar never opened during our stay. That was particularly frustrating because these are amenities that influenced our decision to stay here. We also rented a golf cart and asked if we could park it in the restaurant parking area since Azure House was closed and the parking area was not being used. The hotel was not willing to accommodate this simple request, which was another disappointment and seemed unnecessarily inflexible. The front desk service was another major disappointment. Most of the staff we encountered were rude and unfriendly, which is not the kind of hospitality you expect from a hotel in Key West. There were a few pleasant employees, but unfortunately, the overall experience with the front desk was poor. Then there is the late checkout policy. Checkout is at 10 AM, and the hotel charges $25 for every additional hour. For guests with later flights, that becomes extremely expensive very quickly. Considering that several of the property's advertised amenities were unavailable, charging that much simply to remain in the room longer felt unreasonable. The location is convenient, but a good location does not make up for poor service, misleading room photos, closed amenities, construction, unnecessary inflexibility, and a lack of value for the money. We came to Key West expecting a relaxing and enjoyable stay, but Eden House fell well short of what was advertised. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Stayed September 2018 for 2 nights and again in 2019 for 3 nights. Suites vary in size - we stayed in the Old Town suite. Clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable . We took advantage of the fridge, microwave and cooktop - one suite has a FULL kitchen and private pool! The owner, Mark, was extremely hospitable and knew of hidden gems - non obtrusive. The place is an older home divided into multiple suites many having connecting doors and is available to rent as whole which would be fantastic for a family reunion!! We went both years mid September which is pretty quiet in Key West so we had whole place to ourselves. We will be back for sure - it's an experience to be had!!

**the owner has called and threatened to sue me for $25,000 for leaving my honest review**…read more We booked this hotel months in advance, and exactly one week before arrival the owner called asking us to change our dates. We couldn't due to flights, work, and pet care already arranged. He then informed us he needed to cancel our final night due to "maintenance," but refused to explain what the maintenance was or consider rescheduling it. They did book us another hotel for the final night, which was nice, but it was about $100 less per night than what we originally paid, the room was much smaller and didn't have any of the amenities we had originally paid for-and we were not refunded the difference. We were required to check out at 11 AM (only extended to 1 PM after I asked twice), even though the new hotel's check-in wasn't until 3 PM. I had to arrange early check-in myself to avoid being stranded in Key West with luggage. We also had to pay for our own transportation and lost a large part of our afternoon packing and relocating. No apology or gesture of goodwill was offered. Further, despite being given a 1pm check out, the owner started calling me at 12:30pm asking if we were out yet, making us feel rushed and adding another layer of unhospitality to our experience. He THEN told me to be sure to leave a tip! Are you kidding? Additionally, the hand soap in the bathroom was watered down, and most concerning, the private pool deck -- one of the main reasons we booked -- was severely caving in and felt unsafe to walk on. I'm attaching photos of that. We were not informed of its condition before we booked. I've since requested a partial refund (50% of the final night) due to the inconvenience and price difference, but the owner has not responded to my emails or text.

After…read morereading all of the prior great reviews and beautiful posted pictures, we decided to book the Master Suite for 6 nights. I was excited to see what the house had to offer. We had a late arrival (10:00pm). We were first met at the door by Nemo, the family dog. He was friendly as could be and adorable. He made me miss my puppy instantly. Capt. Steve then greeted us. He was very nice and "down to Earth". As I'm sure he could see how tired we were, he gave an efficient run down of the property and amenities. The room was better than the pictures could describe. The attention to detail was exceptional. A complimentary bottle of champagne for our honeymoon stay was to our surprise waiting for us in the room. After taking in all of the "Ooohs and Ahhs" of our exquisite room, I was now only hoping the bed would be suitable for a much needed good nights sleep. And it was and much more. The pillows were plush and sheets were soft. I was out like a light. We just missed Kayla who had flown out that evening. But left behind were two, delicious homemade Key Lime Pie slices from Kayla. The best Key Lime pie we had experienced during our stay. While at the Atlantis House you have excess to free wifi, bikes, beach chairs /umbrellas & coolers which we utilized and greatly appreciated. The house is a very short walk down to the next beach. Located just off the beaten path away from the crowds and noise, the Atlantis House is a quiet oasis of its own. Our first full day in Key West we did a lot of the usual local touring. In the evening we walked from the Atlantis House to Duval Street (Main business strip) and all the way up to the north end of the street. Needless to say when we got back to our room, we were exhausted. The room has a jacuzzi tub which is just what my wife and I needed to end the night. Also provided are lush Turkish Towels. We took part in Capt. Steve's Snorkeling trip and a Fishing Trip. We caught a few Dolphin Fish (Mahi Mahi)! An amazing time was had on both excursions. The evening after, Steve so graciously brought us some fresh King Fish dip with fresh tortillas that he had just caught which was very tasty. Afterwards we spent the afternoon pool side at the private "Florida Marina Club" as guests of Capt. Steve with a complimentary day pass. While Key West is relaxing and beautiful, what made this trip what it was, was coming back to our beautiful room at the Atlantis House each and every night. It was hard to leave this place. Simply put, Amazing.
