Nice spot to grab something hot to eat while waiting for the trains, but I wish they had some more tables. It's kinda expensive, but the food is pretty good!

While we waited 2 hours for our train we came here, mostly since there was nothing else close by and it was freezing outside. We were so surprised to find ready made hot items as well and cold. As we glanced at the sandwiches you could feel the heat radiating off of the large warmer that housed a variety of soups, warm sandwiches and quiche. The Moroccan lentil soup was hearty and warmed us right up. While it didn't really taste spiced (and needed plenty of salt and pepper), the chunks of veggies and hearty texture really satisfied. I also had the caprese half baguette. There was plenty of pesto and mozzarella on it and the baguette was perfectly chewy and soft. There was one small slice of tomato, but I don't really love tomatoes so I didn't mind them missing. I didn't try the egg salad sandwich, per my partner it was meh. He felt the egg salad had a nice texture and yolky flavor, needed seasoning, but the bread was a detractor. It appeared to be on wheat bread and he stated the bread was too dry and needed more mayo. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and in another "layover" I would gladly try the other items. The turmeric chicken and farro soup is definitely on the list ;)

Thank you, Pret staff! Although you were closing and my train and 7 others were delayed for hours--you gave me my cheddar tomato with greens sandwich "on the house." A kind customer service move, much appreciated! Note: Pret is one of a only few places open (i.e., Hudson, Dunkin' and vending machines), with the food court closed until renovations next year.

Good food a little pricy grab and go. Good for a rush and very French. Got goat cheese yogurt salad fresh.

Came into pret on my way back to NYC from Philly. Stopped by to grab a small bite at 4pm. Still many options available from cold salad to hot options. I got this chipotle chicken grains bowl (hot) with a ginger kombucha. I have to call out the service. When I went up to pay for the bowl, the staff made it a point to tell me and went out of his way to retrieve the side salad that came with this bowl. I had no idea it also came with a side of cold salad! Kudos to the team for making sure I got the additions to my bowl. Overall, grain bowl wasn't anything special. It was fresh and healthy.

What a pleasant surprise to find not only edible but tasty and somewhat healthy food at the Train station! Pret A Manger is on the main concourse level of Philadelphia's 30th street station. I stopped by on a Sunday night around 6pm and the offerings were scant. The ready made food section had only 3 choices in the cold section and 3 in the hot. No soups were displayed. Despite that, i chose an $8 chicken wrap which turned out to be delicious! I was disappointed in their lack of selection but pleased with my food. Their prices are a little steep. Overall i would stop by here again for a quick grab and go meal.

Service was friendly, fast- they had many people at the counter at once. I ordered a large iced americano. It came with a paper straw but like...no ice? And the taste of the americano was super watered down. I also got a chocolate croissant. They have all the baked goods underneath heat lights at the counter. It was ok. Nothing special.

I was dropping my wife off at the train station we saw Pret a Manger when looking for a spot for a quick lunch. Pret a Manger translates to "Ready to Eat" (I still remember some of my 4 semesters of college French!) but is a UK based chain. My guess is as good as yours. We tried Pret a Manger at Heathrow and also in NYC. We were pleased to find a Pret in 30th Street Station. Pret's food is pretty simple but tastes fresh and healthy. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and such. Pret also has a goo variety of drinks, cofee and juices and of course some baked goods like cookies and croissants. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. There is a good amount of seating and the space was kept clean. I think and hope they will do well with this location.

I was at 30th Street Station as I was taking a train down to Washington D.C. for the AIPAC Policy Conference. I hadn't eaten much for breakfast so I decided to stop off at this Pret. Generally, I go to the Au Bon Pain when at 30th Street Station, but decided to to try Pret as it was fairly new. First, this Pret is located where the Cosi used to be, but they have totally redone the inside and it looks great. When you walk in, you are greeted by a nice large selection of grab-and-go items including breakfast sandwiches, stuffed croissants and oatmeal. Next to that, they had a variety of drinks including fresh lemonade, orange juice and more. I decided to pick up the stuffed croissant with ham and cheese as well as the lemonade. The sandwich was also kept under a heat light so when I sat down and ate it, it was nice and hot! By the cash register, they have a variety of fresh baked goods including croissants and cookies. I decided to try the chocolate croissant as well. After paying, I decided to get a nice seat at a large booth they had. I started off with the stuffed-croissant, which was excellent. The ham was nice and tasty and the cheese added a nice secondary flavor. The chocolate croissant was also very nice as the chocolate itself was superb. I also had the lemonade and while it was very fresh and tasty, I wish they had it in a larger size. It was only 13 ounces and it was the largest drink they had. The staff here was also very nice and polite. They checked me out efficiently, but I did not feel rushed. Also, they should probably do something about the backdoors as they swing back really fast could potentially cause an injury. Altogether, Pret is a great edition to 30th Street Station as it serves great food along with friendly staff!

As bad as customer service can get. I was ignored, talk down to, and treated with disdain. And I'm not your "bro."

The server was so nice, she recommended the sugar cookie to go with my iced mocha. It was honestly a perfect pairing.

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

It felt welcoming! My hot chocolate had the smooth richness and was great to start the morning off. There were plenty of tables to sit at in the morning. The style of the café was great with a modern and clean, yet warm enough to make those early morning hours seem somewhat purposeful, and not as rushed as they could be! If you're looking for breakfast options, it is slightly limited at this café. There were some muffins and baked goods available. My experience with El Café in The Hilton Mōttō was very good overall. I enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was rich, smooth and perfect comfort in the morning on the go. The customer service was also great! They were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Additionally, I thought the prices for their coffee and hot chocolate was reasonable. I'd stop by El Café again if I stay at the Hilton Motto.
