What I needed was a motor assist flexible coupling to be replaced to fix the issue. Toyota's, $900 repair estimate was for a $30 coupling part and four hours of labor. goodbye Toyota!! I, then visited a local five star rated auto repair shop and told them what I needed, and asked them for a ballpark estimate to replace the coupling including labor. I was told I would first have to pay $179 diagnostic fee to determine if there might be other additional issues. The diagnostic fee would be a separate charge added to the repair cost. They wouldn't give me an estimate just to fix the coupling issue, another goodbye for me!! A friend referred me to Vinny, at Bob Davis Auto Repair. Vinny, listened to what my issue was and gave me a ballpark estimate around $400. Vinny, repaired my car a little under the estimate, part and 2.2 hours for labor! they're Honest, Fair and earned my Trust and future busines. Thank you, Vinny and the staff, at Bob Davis Auto!

Since this was my first time at the shop, I wanted to double-check that this was definitely the issue before committing. After emailing him back that I'll take some time to think it over, he responds saying I owe him a $150 diagnosis fee added on that was never mentioned when I dropped the car off. I called to politely ask about it and whether I had signed anything or been told about the fee upfront. Vinnie immediately responded with, "Never mind, you're not my type of customer, don't ever call me again," and hung up on me. I have no issue paying a diagnosis fee when it's disclosed in advance, but the lack of transparency and the abrupt, unprofessional reaction spoke volumes. It felt like a shady tactic, especially during my very first interaction with the business. Overall, extremely unprofessional and not a shop I can recommend.

I couldn't wait until Monday to have my car looked at, and needed to find a dependable and honest auto shop that was open locally in my area (Lake Worth). Fortunately, luck was on my side and found Lake Worth Auto Repair upon doing a Yelp search. Open from 8AM to 12PM on Saturdays, I called them early and they were more than happy to at least take a look at my car -- so long as I could get it the two miles it needed to go. They're located on Florida St just west of 19th Ave N and Dixie Highway. I was able to get my car there, and have it diagnosed. Turns out, my spark plugs needed to be replaced in a bad way, as well as my ignition coil. They replaced all within no time, and I was on my way out the door for a lot less than I thought I was going to be. They were straight up and honest, and very accommodating. My car is running great now, and I have Lake Worth Auto Repair to thank. They are bonafide, know what they're doing, and deliver on what they say. If I ever need to bring my car in locally, this is where I will go.

They did fix the leak, but when I picked up my car my digital gas gauge was no longer working -- it now reads "E" and 0 miles to empty. It worked perfectly before I brought it in. When I returned, they claimed the fuel pump was bad, which was never an issue before. Management refused to take responsibility, and after contacting their West Palm Beach location, I never received the promised callback from the owner. Very disappointed. I would not recommend based on my experience.
