Update: I rarely write update reviews but felt that I had to in this instance, especially because of what an ordeal it's been. My hot water issue started last January; it's been a full year! Anyway, Omar is seriously the best! I texted him multiple times over the span of a few months because I was still experiencing issues on and off again with my hot water and was paranoid that the issue was stemming from the water heater. I cleaned out my faucet aerators and showerhead and after only one month, they had become completely clogged up with rocks, minerals, and calcium buildup. It was shocking! Pictures attached. I started cleaning them out weekly because of how quickly they would clog up. I even had a plumber come out to look at the pipes and fixtures. The plumber cleaned out the showerhead, reinstalled it, turned on the water, took the showerhead off again (all in the span of about 5 minutes) and the showerhead was completely clogged up with mineral buildup again. Disgusting!!! The clogged aerators ended up slowing water flow which would turn off the water heater, causing me to lose hot water. Omar gave me a ton of information and resources so I could learn more about my problem and options to resolve the issue without burning a huge hole in my pocket. Water softener or water filter system for the entire home is not in my budget right now. Because the water in my city is pretty hard, he suggested either installing a filter or a ScaleRx onto the tankless water heater. I ultimately decided to get the ScaleRx installed. Price was very reasonable. Omar descaled the tankless, installed the ScaleRx, and showed me how to descale the tankless water heater on my own to save money going forward. I'm not a handyperson at all but I've learned a lot about plumbing and water heaters from this entire experience. Omar also texted me a few weeks later to check in and see if I've noticed a difference in the calcium buildup. It's been about a month since installation. I cleaned out the aerators and faucets/showerhead right after installation and there's minimal buildup so far. I'm just grateful I won't need to soak my fixtures in vinegar every couple weeks anymore. Photos attached are of the faucet aerators, all taken one month after cleaning them. I cleaned the aerators at the beginning of November. The pictures of the aerators with all the mineral buildup was taken at the beginning of December. Omar installed the ScaleRx in mid-December. The pictures of the clean looking aerators were taken today, mid-January. It's been a world of difference! I know the ScaleRx won't 100% keep the all the rocks and minerals away and I'll need to descale the tankless every year, but it's definitely helping to minimize the buildup. Thank you again! read more

I had the first annual maintenance done on my tankless water heater by Omar back in July of 2023. I figured I'd let it run for about 6 months before reviewing. I can honestly say that the unit seems like it's running more efficiently and there are no issues. Omar even took care of some installation mistakes the previous owner/company made at no charge. Not only are his prices competitive, but he's friendly, responds to messages and punctual. I'll be calling Omar annually going forward for my annual maintenance. read more

Innovative was a pleasure to work with for our water heater repair. AO Smith referred us to several repair firms under contract for warranty work. Yelp reviews about Omar and Innovative led to us calling him. Omar answered the phone, grasped the probable issue with the water heater quickly, and scheduled an appointment. He showed up right on time and diagnosed the exact problem. He had the needed parts in his van and quickly installed everything. He checked over the entire water heater, tightened a leaking pipe, and cleaned everything up. We highly recommend Omar and Innovative. read more

I would strongly recommend Innovate Water Heaters. Omar took his time to explain what could be the issues with why our whirlpool water heater stopped working. He tested the pilot assembly which wasn't the issue, then he tested the thermostat which was the culprit. He was on time, courteous, and professional. And his rate is fair. If you are looking for a trustworthy and honest business that won't quote you insane amount definitely give Omar a call. Best if you provide pictures of what is going on. read more

Omar came to my house to get estimate for water heater, but never sent me an estimate nor responding to my message since.

I called the manufacturer of our water heater, as it was backfiring and they gave me Innovate's number to call and do a warranty repair. I called and spoke to Omar, who immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. I told him when I was available to have him come and fix it and he completely worked around my schedule. Omar replaced the burner for us and we asked him to flush and fill our water heater while he was there. He was so friendly, helpful and had very fair pricing. I am so happy that Omar was the one who came to help us and did it with a smile and left the work area cleaner than he found it. Thanks, Innovate! read more

My Noritz tankless water heater failed causing an error code. I quickly reached out to Innovate and Omar was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating and scheduled me in the next day. Omar was able to diagnose the issue the water heater was having and thankfully I did not have to spend thousands $ to replace. We changed a part within the component and we finally had hot water again. Very professional, great communication, and no hidden charges. I highly recommend using Omar for any service repairs or water heater replacement. I know I will be going back to him once the water heater goes out. Thank you Omar! read more

I've been having problems with my Rinnai water heater. After running hot water for 5 minutes, the water turns cold. It gave error code 12 shown at the water heater unit. I called more than 5 plumbers and told them the error code and the issues. All of them wanted to do a diagnostic/troubleshooting first before they can give me a price estimate to fix it... until I called Omar at Innovate Waterheaters. Omar told me the problem with error code 12 over the phone, without having to do a diagnostic. He gave me a quote, which is very reasonable, and came to my house to fix it. It's been a couple of months and I don't have any problem with my hot water anymore. Thank you Omar for being professional, straightforward, honest, and making the experience simple. read more

We were in a bind after another plumber hired by the home warranty company botched two water heater installs back to back and left us in a lurch. The manufacturer recommended innovate water heaters and boy did they come through for us. They were able to squeeze us in late in the day and finish the job as promised. Omar was super professional and kept me up to date along the way. Despite their busy day and a last minute scheduling, he showed up on time and did a fantastic job with our water heater install. Also so polite and very professional to work with. I would give six stars if possible. read more
