We have been doing business with Prestige Thunderbird for the past 3 years ordering everything from parts small Chrome parts, upholstery and headliners to restore our 57 T bird. It's pretty cool that I can call and they know who I am and have my card on file. This past week our car broke down in LA it was a 3 day holiday weekend but Prestige was open on Monday! Rick had our car trailered to the shop from our hotel. The work needed would take a few days so we left it in their hands. Rick and Frank, they take care of their customers like family. When I call in Cindy the office manager is always welcoming I like to chat with her while we wait. I brought my '57 Tbird to Prestige to have them work through some final details to get it road-worthy after restoration. The work they did was flawless and my car starts, runs, and drives like a brand new car. They also rebuilt my windows and door mechanisms as well as aligning my doors so they close properly. What really impressed me was when they called to get some of the engine paint I used so they could touch up parts that peeled when they had to remove the timing cover. This extra touch made me feel like they cared for my car like it was their own. Wow guys! I had the best experience the other day! I took my 55 T-Bird to Prestige Thunderbird to get my drive pulley and dampener assembly replaced. I got that and more! These guys really care about the cars they work on and the customer! In addition to changing out the bad pulley, they straightened my steering wheel, changed the oil and gen bulbs that were out, replaced my brake switch, replaced my oil pressure sensor... They also gave it a once over and listed things that should be done next! All for a fair and honest price! Other mechanics might be cheaper, however you get what you pay for. I bought my '55 'Bird in 1969 as a high school graduation present to myself, and through the years have done business with many different dealers, shops, etc., and if you are looking for a place that will fill all your needs, look no further than Prestige Thunderbird. Frank and Rick know every nut and bolt, all the tricks, and are never too busy to answer questions. I have never had a problem that they have not been able to help me overcome. Every nut, bolt, wire, clip, spring, they have it all. You can send them components for rebuild, and they always come back like new. Fair prices, friendly, knowledgeable, they've got it goin' on! If you live in the LA area, check it out in person. I drove up from San Diego, and it was well worth the trip. I purchased my 1957 T-Bird last June and was referred to Prestige by the previous owner who performed the beautiful frame off restoration. I live in Palm Desert,Ca and while visiting family on the Southern California Coast I decided to to visit their 15,000 square foot facility. It was like a episode from The Twi-Light Zone. The floor of the shop was loaded with nothing but '55.....'56.... and 1957 Thunderbirds. WOW. I knew right then and there this was the only place to have work performed on my newly acquired Garage Princess. I met Cindy the Admin Assistant, Frank...head of the Parts Dept and Rick the Owner. What a great team!! I really appreciate that they all consistently take the time to answer all of my questions and never rush things. They have even given me phone support to ID mechanical fixes while at home. Last month I dropped of my car to have them install after market air conditioning, a new convertible top and a list of approximately 25 additional fixes, repairs and additions. A few days latter I received a written detailed estimate of all the proposed charges along with an estimate of the required timing. I'm very pleasantly surprised to advise that they delivered on all they promised. I had my vehicle flat bed towed 150 miles to them because I knew these were the type of pros I could trust. There were several potentially expensive problems to troubleshoot and when Rick reported they were nothing more than loose connections I knew my confidence in their integrity was well founded. A lot of other mechanic might use this opportunity to gauge a customer, but not Prestige Thunderbird. Leaving your vintage car with a garage can be full of high anxiety. If you want to take a load off your mind and your check book ...take your Bird to Rick and company. These guys are master mechanics and true pros.....,and you can't go wrong. Ripoff! We had them try to sell our T-Bird on consignment. It was running good when it was dropped off and ran TERRIBLE when we picked it up. They said they "worked on the carburetor" and billed us $1200! Not only did they screw up the carb but there were new scratches in the paint which they obviously denied. We complained to one of their employees who said the management WILL contact us but never did. They took the money and ran. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Please avoid these amateurs at all cost read more

Beware. I have purchased multiple vintage cars and was directed to Prestige by my car club for a major restoration of my 1957 T-bird. I have always done my "due diligence" with a review by the paint/upholstery shop prior/after work with photos to confirm existing car condition. Prestige was so highly recommended as pricey but " The place for correct restoration" that I failed to perform this review. Following my last repair work I noticed 3 gouges on my rear window glass. I had left the shop after paying my bill for electrical work and the owner said "The keys are in the car, and its ready to go." I stopped to get gas approximately 10 minutes later and noticed 3 gouges on my rear window glass. I took a photo and called the owner Rick who said " This never happens here, but I you can bring it back in on my next service date and we'll check it out." Wow, I realized both Rick and I must be mistaken about "Prestige Auto" as anything can happen anywhere. I am now ordering my second rear window glass and rubber molding from Larry's T-bird which was replaced during upholstery restoration 1/20/2018 due to the fact that safety glass with gouges will degrade. I am need to do this due to my lack of "Due diligence." I will share this with my club and am sharing this with you now hoping you will learn from my mistake, read more
