I just bought a 2022 Maserati Ghibli from them and the process was stressful to say the least. After what felt like an endless back-and-forth, with them lying to me telling me the car was in a condition that it wasn't (they told me it just had a oil change and the oil was dirty. They told me the tires were all brand new and I saw a plug in the rear tire from a nail repair, and there was clear wearing on the inside of all tires from it needing an alignment. We agreed they would take care of the repairs before purchase. Since I had already driven five hours round-trip twice to look at the car and pick it up, they agreed to deliver it to me at my expense, even though they were negligent in having the car ready to go. To top it all off after confirming with them at least five times to clean the car, they delivered a Maserati to my home, dirty not washed or vacuumed with oil stains in the backseat, old air fresheners in the pockets, and I even found a little kids glasses in the middle console. Buyer beware. On May 6th we drove up from Temecula because we saw that Auto Speed had a 2011 Toyota Sienna for sale. Note: my husband and myself have very good jobs, and excellent credit (in the 800s) , but we decided to go with this dealership because they had the exact Sienna that we had our heart set on. We have two children, one is 9 and one is only 7 months. We took our Saturday trip up to Los Angeles County with a check in hand to purchase the van. We also purchased the extended warranty that we were told would cover basically anything major. We asked for no extras or discounts, just honesty about the vehicle. We were told it was perfect, had one owner and had records of being serviced timely. Here comes 9 days and a few hundred miles after purchase (100 of which was driving it home), my husband, baby and myself were off to do a little shopping at Trader Joe's. We got less than a mile out of our housing community and the van completely went into a stuck gear and wouldn't drive. We immediately had to pull over and then we heard a noise. The check engine light went on along with a few other lights. My husband was able to use a car computer to see what the code was and it indicated a sensor within the transmission was having trouble. We had the van towed to AAMCO and they informed us that the transmission was failing. We obviously called Auto Speed to inform of this and no one there has had the decency to contact us back.... 9 days, guys. The warranty we purchased is now questioning AAMCO because the car wasn't even in our possession for 10 days. My family is out of a vehicle. I have no words for this type is transaction and poor/unethical business practices. I'm floored Auto Speed wouldn't even return our call and be seemingly so beyond dishonest when they saw this young family come in and purchase from them. The staff is friendly but for the car ended up being not so great. They told us the car was checked and was in good condition, but no less then 2 weeks later I had to get it towed because it completely overheated and turned out there's a coolant issue. As well, the car needed all new tires and a tune up. One would think that when the dealer tells you it's in good condition, that it wouldn't need such maintenance immediately after purchase. So beware, the car may look good but they may not be truthful as to what 'good condition' the car is in. I paid pretty high for the car (as is most car sales now) and now I have to drop almost $2k more to get it to the good condition I was told it was in. read more

My husband just bought a car from the last July 19, 2021 and it worked for 3 months and then it started running hot. They talked him into buying the warranty but when we too it to Downey Car Care Center which is where the warranty company recommended we found out the entire coolant system was gone due to hardened sludge that had been there prior to us buying the car and the transmission was gone too. My son had is heart set on the classic Corvette they had in stock. Looked great. First sports car. First "classic" car that he can learn to take care of and do his own work on to maintain. Against our better judgement, he and his mom went to purchase it. Drove up from San Diego. 1. Bad ignition coil when test driven. Fixed by dealer and offered to drive it SD. Weird, but okay. 2. Arrived in SD the next day with two significant oil leaks. F'd up the driveway. Took it to our local (trustworthy) garage. Mechanic said oil pan and timing chain seals were repaired by a hack. Clearly and hastily siliconed so it wouldn't leak on the ground (to sell obviously). Then blew apart on the drive from LA to SD. 3. Freon line also leaks. Okay, it's a 96' Corvette, it's gonna need work. We get that. But for a dealer to have no idea what the issues are and are willing to sell a car with multiple problems clearly points these guys trying to unload cars that they don't want to fix to make road worthy and cross their fingers that no one notices or they're just stupid and don't know anything about the cars they sell. Read other reviews. LOTS of similar experiences. Lame, dishonest, uneducated car-guys that just want to make a buck. Stereotypic used car salesmen.....sell you shit with a smile. I understand used cars are not prefect but not disclosing rust and covering in with black paint is dealership fraud. I wouldn't mind fixing one or even two issues but when your told from a mechanic that you have five issues along with a 6th issue of rust. That even if he fixed all five issues that the rust issue makes it not safe to drive. In a couple words shady and dishonest. This dealership is a few blocks from my home, so I stopped by while out looking. This is an unplanned purchase, so my budget is small. I know that at my price point, any car I purchase will need some significant work. I'm OK with that - I'm a realist. I test drove a couple cars and the salesman, Mark J, seemed to be pretty cool, claimed to be car guy and he was generous with his time. He contacted me a few days later about another couple of cars that might work for me. We did a test drive, then I scheduled for a nearby, trusted mechanic to look at the car. He did - and not surprisingly there were issues that would need to be addressed, including having the fluids - *transmission*, steering, cooling, etc flushed. Mark sat with me when my mechanic went over what needed to be done and what the parts and labor would cost for each. The car needs $3,000K to be brought up to Kelly Blue Book's definition of "Good", without including the A/C fix, which needed a more thorough diagnosis. I emailed an offer that was $1,095 under their asking/sticker price the following day (a Thursday) after doing the research. I wanted to be fair. Two days later, I receive a text that said "Paul, [the GM] was ok with it, but Ruben... put in a new transmission..." and the only wanted to knock off $95 from their ask. I reminded him about the slightly dark transmission fluid. Then the story was that it was "a while back". I told him that I knew the car had be at Cars911 for $2500 more until earlier in the week. This was taking place Saturday morning - then I'm told the GM Is out at a wedding. Really? Nah... they just wanted to try to sell it to a sucker for too much money. They weave stories and fables in order to dupe buyers. Stay clear of this place. read more
