I know we all dread going to your usual car dealership where you expect that the price on the website will be increased by a couple thousand dollars worth of dealer ad ons like special paint coatings, gps systems, useless warranties, and the pressure to use the dealer's financing. well get ready to finally go somewhere that will not even attempt to push all that bogus stuff on you. I can't speak much for my experience in car buying but I can speak of what a great experience I've had here at Car Tech USA. This is my second car I've ever bought and I could not be more happy with my purchase. I will speak in earnest that the lack of yelp reviews may have slightly deterred me at first. But don't let that dissuade you from dropping in. They've been up and about for almost two decades now. It seems even more off but look at it this way. If they were doing a terrible job, horrible reviews would be pouring in. When people are satisfied, they are content with just that feeling. But when people are dissatisfied, you are sure to hear about it. I gave them a call the previous day inquiring about a 2003 red Toyota Celica. I asked if I could test drive it and they were more than happy to oblige. I gave them a 30 minutes heads up call and when I walked in they greeted me at the door with keys in hand. I took it out for a drive with Mr. Tabet and my brother in the backseat. The car ran as beautifully as had my 2005 Zephyr Blue Celica. I could tell it was in pretty good shape for being 13 years old. I did the usual tests; letting the steering wheel go to see if it would veer in a direction, stepped on the gas to make sure the gears shifted properly, and most important of all if the AC worked!! Those hot summer days are a killer. The car was as good as it was advertised if not more so. What really surprised me was how cheap the car was!! It was priced as it was supposed to be on top of the fact that Mr. Tabet gave me a discount. I explained to him my position as I had just gotten into an accident the previous day and I needed a car ASAP because I go to UCSB. He was more than happy to work within my abilities to pay. We worked it out to an even more agreeable price and Mrs. Tabet ran the paperwork through with me. What really amazes me is how this place has flew under the radars of the greater community at large. They are running a truly pleasant and earnest business, a family one too boot!! I checked out their other cars as well and not a single one marked up. No crazy discounts either because they're honest about their prices. None of that ten thousand dollar car with a 40% mark off. They call it as it is and sell you dependable and cheap cars that is all around great. If I ever need to purchase another car I know I will be giving them a call. Suspicious. Unprofessional. Wasted my time. I went to check out a car only to find out that someone else was already there about to buy the same car. They failed to mention that detail when I told them I was on my way. It's so obvious this place only cares about money. They didn't even attempt to appear professional, which is the saddest part. They even asked me how I planned to pay and went back and forth between me and the other people, probably just to decide which method of payment they preferred. It was also weird that the car I looked at was like the only car in the parking lot. I'm glad I didn't buy a car from these people. Beware!!! read more

Very unsatisfied with my purchase of my vehicle. They lied about the smog being passed and it has caused numerous problems with the transmission and the exhaust. I left a voicemail to please call me back. When I called again the following morning they had blocked my number. I called back from my friends phone to let them know about such problems. He clearly did not take any responsibility for their sale. They clearly were aware of the car issues and did not inform me of them. Worst experience I've had. read more

Bought a 2008 Mazda 3, 2 months ago with no issues at first, about a month passes by and my transmission begins to act up just about every time i drive it. turns out i need a whole new transmission. if it wasnt for their vehicle protection plan( which they were trying to give me a 1 month 1000 mile plan which i declined and then they offered me a 3 month 3000 mile warranty which i took) if it wasnt for that i would be out of thousands of dollars on paying for a new transmission.
