This salon has a nice atmosphere but they always double book so be prepared to wait for 30 min (why even book the appt?) Plus their prices are high, $43 for a no-chip manicure plus tip. I know prices are going up all around us but with so much competition around, it's just not a good strategy on their part. They also seem rude, not apologetic at all for taking a person in for a full no chip who came after me even though I clearly had an appt. so I just sat there with my foils for 30 min, no one at the salon even batted an eye. My new nail spot!!! I've been going here for about 2 months now and I'm never disappointed. I always have a problem on the north side of the city with finding a good salon that does have my no chip manicure actually chip with in 1 week. At Prestige I always leave happy and satisfied never once have a not loved my manicure nor have my nails chipped after 1 week. The salon is clean, quiet and welcoming. The customer service is outstanding and genuine. They also have an array of nail colors. The only thing I have got done was a pedicure but I will soon. One of the best manicures we've ever had! The nail techs were really nice, great atmosphere/salon, the owner/Mgr was very sweet and the polish options are new, many to choose from and great quality! I want to preface this with: this was my first time at the salon. I came in right as they opened the and was able to be seen immediately. Lily did a wonderful job in my manicure and pedicure. She was very meticulous and did a great job on my rough cuticles. The ONLY reason I am giving this a 4 star review is because the salon was freezing cold and they did not use any sort of liner in the pedicure bowl. If you're going to this salon SEE LILY! Hands down my favorite nails studio in all of Chicagoland. Came here for the first a couple of weeks ago and got an amazing pedicure and Dip powder service. I had the please of being serviced by April this day. However all of the staff and management are very friendly and a pleasure to be around. Clean new salon with a modern feel! I broke a nail and prestige was able to get me in and fix my nail for me, as well as find the cause of how the nail broke. The experience that I've had with this nail salon is unmatched. Even though I reside in west loop I travel over to this salon because of the experience and quality of service! Will continue to come bi-weekly and I plan on bringing friends with me. Loved this place! Everyone is so nice and very detailed with their work. The lady who did my mani and pedi was amazing and has a secret to remove the white patches on your nails. At my last salon I was told that in order for that to go away I would need to stop getting pedicures for a bit to let the nail gain some moisture because it was from dry skin and not taking breaks from polish. Well let me tell you that this place knows the secret to removing it and I didn't even ask for it. When I looked down I was in shock that my toe nails looked normal! Pricing is also reasonable! This has been BY far my favorite nail place I've discovered in downtown Chicago. I've been to many and tried out a lot of new ones but the staff here was so nice and patient and in the moment. Instead of being distracted and so fast paced, this staff actually was present in the moment. I got a dip and it's lasted 2 weeks so far and still looks brand new and will easily last another week or even two. The atmosphere was calming and the quality was phenomenal. Horrible experience. I've had my nails done in dip for over 2 years now. I knew the guy who did my nails wasn't doing it correctly. Within a week they were chipped, the top layer was literally peeling off, there are all sorts or dents. Dip usually lasts me 4-5 weeks and look perfect until I have it removed. DO NOT waste your money here!!! read more

Staff is very nice and they do great work. My nails never break and last for weeks. Always so clean!

They do a great job with manicures - both regular and gel. Color selection is fantastic too. Pedicures are fine. Don't see a reason to upgrade to the spa pedicure since it doesn't get you much more than scented foot soak and a 3 minute massage. Also, some of the techs are incredibly rough. I was worried they were going to make me bleed on several occasions. Manager is super friendly to though. Overall, it's a fine place. Cleaner than most downtown salons. read more
