LIARS!!! Extremely misleading and unprofessional experience. Scammers!!! Just expect lies after…read morelies from these people. Casey E, the sales manager, made it a key selling point that the vehicle (a preowned Tesla) included Full Self-Driving, repeatedly emphasizing that it added $12,000 in value to the car. Based on that, I agreed to the deal and put down a down payment. After everything was signed, I found out the car does NOT include FSD - a major misrepresentation. Once this was confirmed, there was no effort to adjust the price to reflect the missing $12,000 feature. The value of the car clearly changed, but the price did not. When I raised the issue, they admitted the mistake (but still blamed the owner that sold them that car???) and offered no real solution other than canceling. No accountability and no attempt to make things right. All they offered was a free car detail to the loss of the $12,000 car value??!!!! Trying to get my money back has been just as frustrating. I spent the entire day trying to reach to the GM Xavier. When I finally did, he said he would check on my refund for the down payment and then left for the day without any update or follow-up!!!! So unprofessional as a GM. This was not just poor communication - it was a complete lack of transparency and accountability from start to finish. I would strongly suggest staying away from these scammers. They have no problem lying to make a deal but make you go through all these hoops to get your money back

Any review rated over 1 star is a lie or from someone that knows them personally , with a company…read morelike this you should be able to rate 0 stars. All the reviews stating issues from the very start and the car they purchased not have been fully gone through and checked like it states on the website for this place, "every car we sell is inspected by our AAA certified mechanic", is a total lie. They do not have their cars serviced by any certified mechanic, they also flat out refuse to give any paperwork for any repairs that they do to whatever you buy from them, every time you ask for anything showing what repair was actually done, they will give you excuses and promise to give it to you. I had brakes, muffler, tires, a totally rotted out front frame (that the owner, Eddie told me he knew about and forgot to tell me before I purchased the car, and several other repairs done and never once would be given any form of paperwork showing the repair. I was told Eddie misplaced the paperwork, the mechanic still had it, its around here somewhere and we'll look around for it and most recently, the wonderful phony typical used car dealer, Mike Doucette told me and also Eddie himself, "I pay for the repair, I get the paperwork, not you"! Obviously if they really had a AAA cert mechanic, they would have no problem, giving the paper work for any and all repairs they do, no matter who pays for it. Not one repair done by them was done properly or fully completed. The fact they Eddie and Mike admitted to me that they both knew about the through rotted frame and let me drive it like that until the muffler had issues and a "real" mechanic looked under the car, and noticed the rotted frame, speaks volumes of the way these guys care about what they sell and to who and the standards and morals they both have. They buy the cars they sell dirt cheap at the auctions and pass them off to innocent people just to make the sale. They will tell you "we literally just got the car in today and haven't had time to have our mechanic go through it yet, but it will be fully gone through and any issues found will be fully fixed" I was told that for 2 cars I looked at and both had been listed on their site for sale, one was on for 3 months and the other had been listed on their site for 5 months. When you call them out on any issues, with me they were all very dangerous issues where the car should never have been sold to anyone, Eddie will blame Mike Doucette (Mikey D) for smoking crack and steeling from him and Mike Doucette will blame Eddie for being in a rehab for drugs. Both of these "men: are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to being used car salesmen, guys like them are what have given any car dealer, salesman a bad reputation. This "dealership" needs to be looked into and closed down. It honestly comes across as a cover for selling something else!! Please Beware!!!

They had the exact used car I was looking for, so I got it. From the second I walked into the showroom I felt like I was bothering them. The entire sales experience was THE WORST I've had on my LIFE [and I'm 64 yrs old]. Then when I finally got the car home, Irealized that the windshield wipers were never changed, they were really crappy, and also both key fobs and both remote starts needed batteries. I called the dealership and was told, 'really? The batteries never gave me a low signal. Just replace them and send us the bill". SERIOUSLY?? No 'I'm sorry' or 'that should not have happened' NOTHING. Again, I spent over $32,000.00 and felt horrible when I left the dealership. Not one person in the dealership even congratulated me on my purchase. I've bought cars at other dealerships and the people couldn't do enough for me! Volvo DANVERS is HORRIBLE. I'd advise everyone and anyone to NEVER STEP FOOT in that place. I should have felt so good about my purchase but instead felt awful. If I wasn't so stuck and In fesperate need of a vehicle, I would have reopened the car, especially after the crappy wipers and 4 fob batteries needing replacement (after spending all that money, I had to speed a couple hundred more). What a horrible experience. They're a terrible dealership. DO NOT BUY FROM VOLVO DANVERS!!

You will pay a premium for a used car here but you won't get value or any kind of backing up from Herb Chambers. I bought a used Equinox and paid thousands more than a similar one at used car dealers nearby, and within a month I started having problems. Brought it back and they found two solenoids that had to be replaced at $361 each. Then they charged me $318 for a tire sensor, and $142 for a headlight bulb. Total bill came to about $1,300 because they also charge hundreds of dollars for a diagnostic as soon as you give them the car. I didn't mind paying for a headlight and tire sensor, but they totally gouged me in the price. And it's very apparent that they cleared the codes so the engine light would be off long enough to sell the car and pass inspection, and then it was OUT THE DOOR. I've bought from other Herb Chambers dealers and always had good treatment, but save your money and buy your cars elsewhere, you'll save thousands. Herb Chambers has gone downhill.
