We arrived around 3:30 pm when it was fairly occupied; they feature 'Happy Sour Hour' from 4 to 7 pm, during which all of their sour beers are reduced in price to $7.00. We ordered and shared two beers, the first a lager, the second a sour beer in order to take advantage of the discounted price. The venue is long and narrow, with two floors and a distinctive looking back patio. Our service was fairly prompt and they are located in a quite convenient location, literally across the street from the subway and the historic, flagship LCBO location. So I can recommend a visit if you're in the area and desire a drink and/or snack.

15/10…read more Impact Kitchen completely blew me away While visiting Toronto, my friend (who's vegan) suggested we check it out, and let's just say... we ended up ordering from here every single day for four days straight. That never happens. The bowls are on another level Fresh, hearty, perfectly balanced, and somehow healthy while still being insanely satisfying. Every ingredient was crisp, crunchy, and prepared with so much care--it didn't feel like "just a salad," it felt like a full-on meal that left you energized instead of weighed down. And the smoothies? Incredible They're thick, refreshing, and taste like the best version of clean fuel for your body. Pairing one of their bowls with a smoothie became the highlight of our days in Toronto. What's wild is that I hate eating the same thing every day... but for this, I'd happily eat here for a week straight That's how much it hit the mark. Honestly, I'd go back to Canada just to have these bowls again

The cafe itself, while tiny, is brightly lit from the large windows and offers a wide range of menu items, from their drinks, to baked good like muffins, to energy balls. I got a regular iced latte with almond milk ($5.25 plus $0.50 for the milk alternative). It was not overly sweet and was a great midday pick me up! I've heard great things about their iced sweet latte, so definitely will be coming back to try that. Their scones also looked delicious! Service was quick and the staff members were super friendly. There were some office workers on their lunch break here and some bar stool seating by the window as well.

This particular location is located at the intersection of Yonge and St. Clair where it's been open for a couple of years now. I've been to this location a few times and it's the perfect place to grab some caffeine if you're in the neighbourhood. Beverage wise, Pilot Coffee has your usual espresso based coffee options (Americano, latte, cortado, flat white, etc.) as well as matcha drinks as well. There are some pastries available for purchase as well that are on display. This location is smaller compared to their other locations but has several tables indoors for you to enjoy your beverage. They also have coffee gear and equipment if you'd like to grab something to brew your coffee at home. Service is always great and staff make your drinks at a reasonable time. The space is accessible where there is a washroom available as well. You are able to either grab your coffee to go or have it there. Overall, you can trust Pilot Coffee to give you that caffeine hit you are looking for any time of the day. This location is in the heart of Yonge and St. Clair making it a prime location for anyone who lives or works in the neighbourhood!

Seating is solid, but noise can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Coffee is good but a bit inconsistent. I usually go for cortados, and while I've had some really good ones here, other times the milk-to-espresso ratio feels off. The flat white, on the other hand, was excellent. Still need to try the pour-over. Service is always good too! Food is solid. Chocolate chip banana muffin was great, turkey sandwich was okay. I arrived around 10am on a Saturday morning, got an almond latte and an almond croissant. I drank my latte first and slowly nibbled on the croissant because I wasn't too hungry. The latte was very rich in the almond flavour, and the croissant was nice and flaky. The chairs at the front of the cafe are very comfortable with high arm and back rest. The biggest turn off though was around lunchtime a lady came to collect my empty cup and plate and told me I cannot stay so long, max. one hour sitting time. I had all intentions to order again with them for lunch because as I was studying I saw tables next to me really enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. But after being told I've been sitting too long - when there were no signs of a seating time limit - I decided to just leave. They could've approached me by first asking if I want anything else, and most likely I'll get the hint and order again as I had intended. Instead, they directly told me there's an one hour seating limit that was not posted anywhere. I'd rather go to a Starbucks then, at least I won't be told to leave.
