    Avocado BLT

This was a delightful surprise - was expecting coffee shop fare and it was much more. I had the Chicken and Goat Cheese sandwich and my partner had the Avocado BLT. Both made to order, fresh and dee-lish, i especially liked the caramelized onions on the chicken sandwich! Ironically did not have the coffee, but loved the extensive selection of Sloane teas. Reasonable sized patio, and large communal table along with individual tables inside

Goat Coffee Co is situated around Pape subway station, around a 8-10 min walk from the station. This local neighbourhood cafe emits a friendly, warm, and relaxing vibe upon entering and the space fills up with natural light due to the many windows. I dropped by the cafe on a Saturday morning at around 10am and the cafe was already half filled with customers enjoying their morning breakfast and coffee. I waited in line for about 5 minutes as the customer ahead of me was ordering multiple drinks. I got an Americano and an avocado toast which came up to around $7. Upon sitting down, my drink and food was promptly delivered to me. Both the coffee and the toast were good, but nothing spectacular to rave about. Overall, Goat Coffee Co is a great local coffee shop to hang out at for the neighbourhood. I've had better coffee and food elsewhere but if you're around the area and in need of some caffeine, go check it out!

The rumors are true! This is the greatest of all time! GOAT was on my list of cafés to check out in Toronto. I thought it was just a coffee shop, but they food. Not your average food but GOAT food. We ordered the mushroom egger and the avocado toast. Both excellent and worth making the trip here to have. Service is warm. Enough seating +patio. There are some electrical outlets. WiFi's not working right now so I don't know about the speed. GOAT had moved from my 'to try' list to my regular cafés to visit list. As mentioned here, all neighbourhood cafés should aspire to be GOAT.

This is what all small neighbourhood coffee shops should strive to be. Excellent service, food, and of course, great coffee. I came here with a friend for a late lunch and the place was packed. There are not many tables, so be prepared to sit on a stool along the window. We each had a cappuccino, which was excellent and served in a mug. I have a greater appreciation for my cappuccino when I do not have to drink it out of a paper cup. I ordered the avocado BLT. It arrived quickly to my table and had the perfect ratio of avocado to tomato and bacon. The addition of arugula and a garlic aioli elevated the traditional sandwich. I would absolutely come back to this spot for brunch or lunch and a great cup of coffee.

Great place to go grab a coffee in the neighborhood & they do offer food, which was delicious; but it's definitely service a la carte. They're limited in seating & space options which doesn't give you that homey feeling of wanting to relax & enjoy your time there. Brunch on a Sunday with your daughter shouldn't be rushed, it should be enjoyed! Glad we tried it though!

It is a real gem in East York. I'm so happy I found myself and my colleagues such a nice lunch place only a few minutes drive from my work. The interior decor is chic and comfortable. The small but bright patio on the side street is a bonus. People working there are nice and they make good sandwiches and coffees. Decaf coffee is available on certain coffee types. I tried the chicken and goat cheese sandwich during my first visit. The chicken breast was freshly grilled and juicy. The goat cheese melted with the meat was simply a perfect combination. With the best sandwich bread they used, I just loved it. They have special salads too. Their portions are big and they are always fresh. Besides, their breakfast sandwiches are served whole day. What can I say? I deduct one star because the waiting time for the food is a bit long. However, if you want freshly made sandwich with fresh real meat. It's worth the wait. The indoor dining area is a bit too warm during the late summer days but we can survive lol!

Currently, I was looking for a good place to try avocado toast So I visited this place by searching. This place has a great customer service and cozy atmosphere as well. The price is pretty reasonable. i liked the avocado toast too.

    OOH LA LA

Popped in here for breakfast & coffee this morning & it was just okay. There was maybe 10 people there with a few options left for seating, spacing between the tables along the wall wasn't great as we had to really squeeze in and disrupt those next to us. It also doesn't give off a very warm or cozy vibe, felt very cold. I had the "OOH LA LA" which was disappointing, especially with a name like that. Bland, flavourless French toast with eggs bacon & cheese, not at all worth $13 IMO. My mom ordered the avocado BLT which was lovely based off my one bite taste test, fries were decent. They only have 1 ketchup & 1 hot sauce bottle sitting by the window which didn't make sense to me, you either have to carry your plate over & use them or bring the condiments to your table but there's several other people who need it as well. Minor but a nuisance. Coffee was good but I've had better, nothing to rave about. I wouldn't return here to dine in, maybe just a grab and go coffee as it's close to home

Double shots are the way to go! Ask for smaller cup so you can taste the coffee rather than drink a half gallon of milk. One happy Aussie!

Ooh la la - brioche French toast with bacon egg and cheese, served with maple syrup. Yum!

Cappuccino was okay. A little flat. Definitely better places to go to in the area. I hear their food is pretty good though.

Previously we had thought that this place was just a little Italian coffee shop but it's much more and I'm so glad that we checked it out. The food porn on their IG account: drool inducing. The food menu consists of killer panino sandwiches (the meatball is probably my fave but then the chicken cutlet is damn good too) , fun nibble boards with fresh cheeses, charcuterie, house cured olives, house made hot peppers, fried zucchinni and the list goes on.... They do pasta on certain nights too. Hands down the best hot Italian sandwiches in the city and if you are into wine, they have a curated selection of Italian wines that has me heading over just to pick up a bottle to go (OK, I might have to also take an eggplant parm too). My wife and I have become addicted to this place and try and hit it up at least once a week (typically on Fridays after work) If you live in the Danforth & Greenwood area, you have to check them out.

I stopped by in a recent visit to Toronto when it made more sense to wait for my wife than to drive back and forth from our hotel in Mississauga amidst... hey did you know that (unscientific as this may be) traffic may actually be worst on weekends than during the week? Reason is that, while many folks commute using public transit, car owners drive to their destinations on weekends. This is a small, sun-shiny kind of space, with Wifi. The front part, especially, is a good place to bask in the rays. They seem to offer a few food choices for breakfast and lunch, but since I was just looking for a place to hang out for 90 minutes, I was going to be "minimal patron". I thought about another coffee, but decided against it, since I already had double the caffeine I usually consume before noon, I opted for the "cheapest" choice, in the form of a Perrier. Cha-ching and "ouch" and $3.74 later (OK it's CAD, but still), I'm left wondering whether I could have made a better choice: as in, a cookie and that bottle of water I had with me?
