Press just opened at this location recently and is hidden behind Wells Fargo and Over Easy close to 24th Street and Camelback and has an extremely spacious interior with various seating--comfy chairs, a couch, tables, and work counters with parking out front for a few cars. When I was there, slightly after 8 a.m., office workers were picking up coffee and passing through. Definitely not overcrowded, though. In my opinion, this is the opposite of an eclectic (aka mismatched furniture, pipes exposed) hippyish coffeehouse. It had a very comfortable, warm feeling with lots of seating and four TVs on one wall (maybe that was one big TV with four different channels). I ordered a latte--8 ounces, which came standard with two shots and whole milk. Ask for "hot" if you prefer yours more than lukewarm. The espresso shots definitely came through the milk taste. They had several options for black coffee, including two Ethiopian, one Guatemalan, and one Sumatra. They roast the beans and had several options for purchasing. So, basically a full service coffeehouse situated in a convenient spot for many of the office workers nearby. read more

This place is intense. I can only assume that my experience is because of recent understaffing so take it with a grain of salt. I went there mid week afternoon and stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes, walked back and forth and looked into the back, was never greeted. That's cool, place is nice to look around in. Cool photo aesthetic but not a "cozy" coffee place. Mostly it's business dudes in collared shirts having meetings, mid adults with kids running around and loud guys on their phones speaking of buying and selling. I was totally out of my element trying to have a simple cup of joe over a quiet convo. There's a variety of chairs and textures that are nice to sit in. I imagine this would be good for groups since making lots of noise isn't an issue. Not very ASD friendly, bit of a sensory overload. Edit: To the business owner who replied to me directly - your biggest concern should be the fact that I circled the counter and was never greeted. I couldn't even buy something cause I didn't see any staff. I'd expect a "you're right we were understaffed and it's unfortunate" or "wow having your order taken isn't acceptable, I'll bring it up in the staff meeting." Smh. read more

Any time a new coffee shop turns up it is essential that you try it out. Press coffee is well hidden in the 24 center behind Wells Fargo. When you get there there are about eight parking spaces out front. The decor is modern with bright lighting, comfortable chairs and a big screen TV that was showing four channels simultaneously when I was there. My coffee, a 16-ounce vanilla latte tasted about the same as all the other vanilla lattes I have had in the area. It was hot, smooth and a pleasant way to have an excuse to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I noticed that they have a few single origin coffees from which to choose. They had two Ethiopian coffees and a Guatemalan Huehuetenango as well as a couple of others on the menu. Delicious This was my first visit to Press Coffee. On this visit I ordered an Iced Carmel Mochitto and it was absolutely delicious. This Carmel Mochitto had it all. A full-bodied espresso, vanilla, milk, ice, topped off with a caramel drizzle, for that sweet finish. The coffee and flavors were perfectly balanced, the best mochitto I've had in sometime, it was so refreshing. You have to stop by Press Coffee and enjoy the coffee. Coffee was so good! The staff was super sweet and welcoming. I love the natural lighting the big windows allow in. It's in an area with a lot of businesses so there were a lot of meetings going on around us. Multiple spots with outlets available! The seats were comfy. We stayed for hours on our laptops! Only problem was parking is a little hectic. It said free and we had ours validated but still had to pay $7.50 which was 50% off so just something to keep in mind. You can quickly tell it's 'the spot' for all employees in the area, but it's busyness did not negatively impact the speedy service. There are plenty of seating options and I believe even a conference room that can be used (I'm assuming it needs to be reserved ahead of time). Today we ordered a shaker and a 20 oz latte with light ice and ended up with not much. What a disappointment! Really? We are paying extra for the large latte and milk choice but apparently it doesn't matter because clearly ice is the only thing making the drinks appear larger in general. Tried a cappuccino while in town for a soccer tournament and it was perfect. I am lactose intolerant so I asked for almond milk and it was still perfectly frothed you could not tell the difference. Thankfully I discovered this location, it is tucked away in an office building and it was a little difficult to find at first. Next time it will be very easy for me, there is also plenty of parking spots to quickly get your coffee and go. The line was a little long, but moved super quickly. The cashier was very friendly while taking my order. I LOVE that press now has oat milk, which I personally think is one of the best milk alternatives. I got my usual a iced dirty chai with oat milk. I like this place! I was in Phoenix for a mini vacation, but I needed somewhere to do homework, and this place popped up. I ordered a few different things: iced tea, a grab and go pasta salad, and a croissant. The iced tea was freshly brewed, so it was delicious, the croissant was good, and the pasta salad was just OK. It could have used more pesto, and was a tad bit pricey. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but I remember thinking it wasn't quite worth what I paid for it. Overall this place is pretty good. They have a television with ESPN hammer on, outlets for your devices, comfortable couch areas to booth seats to comfy round table seating area, high top tables, outdoor seating, I think a ping pong table outside, and low two seater tables to 2 and 4 seater tables. The space between furniture is great and hey decorated this place really well. Very modern. For milk alternatives they have soy and almond unsweetened. That got me all excited because now I can have my vanilla latte with no added sweeteners. I ordered an ice vanilla latte with unsweetened almond milk. Tastes good. Their condiment bar has a microwave, napkins, straws, ground cinnamon, raw sugar cane, the normal sweetener options, etc. I wish they had stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit. I normally bring my own packets. Much better than Starbucks. I'll definitely be frequenting this spot! They just opened in this location in November, 2017. It's across the street from Biltmore Fashion Mall. From inside you can see MACYs. Did I mention he temperature here is great. It's nice and cool, but not freezing like Starbucks. read more

My go-to coffee shop, they pretty much have everything you're in the mood for: - I just got down hiking camelback this Saturday morning(open 7 days a week) and their Peanut Butter Shaker hits just the right spot. - Their pour overs are an amazing reminder of why coffee--especially after stepping off a flight. - To top it off, or to cap off most workdays in my case, they have kombucha on tap! They also have a grab & go fridge, with salads, wraps and sandwiches prepped by the lovely folks next door at Over Easy--the Sriracha Ranch dressing on their Cobb Salad is an absolute delight! Laptop warriors are of course very welcome here too, I've found myself working a couple hours a week here whenever I need a change of pace. And the news on the TV gives me just enough to be aware of what's going on in the world--nice little break from work. I feel like I'm describing my idea of an ideal living room haha, but honestly, I don't know if there's any higher compliment I can give. It's homey, welcoming, stylish, open, sometimes formal, but you get a lot of different folks coming through here and I don't believe anyone feels out of place I don't think. Great cold brew and excellent ambience for working. I came in on a Saturday afternoon for a pick me up coffee! I chose the cold brew with almond milk and loved how strong yet creamy it was. The barista was kind and quick with our drinks. We sat in comfortable chairs with views of their televisions. There are plenty of seating areas- some with tables for working as well! Let me start with Press Coffee is my absolute favorite coffee. I've been to several of their coffee shops and everyone is always nice, the coffee is phenomenal and the perfect temperature. With that being said, the guy working at the Biltmore location needs a serious attitude adjustment. It's the second time snide remarks were make, ignorance when requesting something and see the pic below of my large latte (I haven't drank from it yet). Press is a hidden gem! It is my favorite coffee shop to study at and I almost didn't want to write this review to keep press to myself! I have only been here on the weekends, when the parking is free in the front and you are able to park there for more than 30 minutes. The interior is so new, clean, and modern! This is a coffee shop that is pretty quiet, spacious, and has great coffee! I always am able to easily find a seat, which is a huge plus! There is 1 large main TV with several sofa chairs surrounding it, so you can watch your favorite sports game while doing work! It also has a pool table and other games inside and outside!
