My mother and I were looking for a brunch place to eat in Norman that isn't the usual ones we go to, Syrup and Neighborhood Jam. We pulled up and were interested in where it was. It was in a strip mall. When entering, the smells of coffee and fresh food were fantastic. We were quickly seated. We ordered a London Fog and Vanilla Latte to start off. The menu was very small but still offered a wide range of options. We shared the waffle and omelette. It was delicious!!! The food was great. The service was okay, but our waitress seemed new so she was still learning. I recommend everyone go explore this little joint when looking for a great place outside of the norm. read more

Came here for a late breakfast for my birthday. The food was great! However, our server was not attentive at all. She came to our table 2 times (once for drink order, second for food order) she passed our table several times with our cups sitting empty the remainder of our time and after sitting for 10 minutes after finishing our food, I had to get her attention to get our check. I think the experience would have been great if the service would have been better. read more

The breakfast croissant sandwich and cold brew with oat milk is my favorite. Food is flavorful and tasty, and the coffee is amazing. The service is quick, and staff is very friendly and attentive. I ordered the press & plow breakfast with bacon, biscuits, & a butterscotch latte for takeout. I entered the cafe & went to the front; they were not too busy. If you do order online, the food is in the back but had no signs near the front to let you know. A woman did come from the back & let me know my food was in the back on a barrel. The place was a cute little spot; I will for sure be back with friends to try again. When I got home, I noticed there was only one biscuit in the to go box; definitely check your food before you leave. The latte was delicious - I drank it on the way home. The meal was good. Used to love coming here! However as their business has picked up, they are struggling to offer the same personalized customer service. Walk in and standing at the 'please wait to be seated sign' and everyone is so busy that after 5 minutes of employees not acknowledging our presence, I asked someone if we could be seated (there were two empty tables). It was only then that we were told there was a wait list. No problem with a wait list, just need better communication when customers arrive. Maybe need more staff on the weekend. Food is fresh and tasty! Definitely worth stopping by. read more

I biked here today. From 10 miles away. That's how good this place is. You get lean healthy breakfast or brunch with fine roasted coffee. There is also a great selection of local 405 Brewery beers (not that you'd have one with breakfast) but some do, I suppose. I had the Fontana omelette with sliced tomato and avocado on the side. The omelette was perfectly cooked and the tomatoes were actually sweet as I believe they are locally sourced. They have every type of espresso imaginable as well. read more

This was a nice place to go for breakfast, but would not be my first choice. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes which arrived with no blueberries. I ordered lavender lemonade. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. The service was very good and our waitress apologized profusely for the lack of blueberries. Until today this was one of my favorite places to eat in Norman. Sadly that is no longer the case. I stepped into the establishment this morning and quietly waited to be seated. None of the staff, and I understand they were busy, acknowledged me. I stood there for more than 5 minutes before I asked should I seat myself. Both waitresses near the front said no they would seat me. The blond was somewhat rude but I tried to ignore that. They finally asked how many and I said one. They offered the bar seating and I explained because of my knee problem I could not sit at a raised seat. The blond then informed me that that was the only seating available for a party of one. This was despite the fact that there was a table with just one person sitting at it already. Also there was an empty table. When I pointed this out she said the only place I could sit was at the bar. I said thanks but no thanks and did inform them I was leaving a bad review. I will also throw in that I am African American and wonder how much that played a role in my encounter. We are always looking for great coffee and teas and unique food choices. I went here with a friend yesterday and while we didn't have anything to eat, I was impressed with the menu and my iced latte was nice but served in a small brandy snifter which was a new one on me! There were quite a few people dining. It was about 2 p.m. I was anxious to take my husband because of their menu, and we arrived just minutes before one o' clock. The help at counter informed us as we ordered our drinks( when I requested a menu, that they didn't serve anyone between 1 and 3! ) Yet they were serving others who were EATING. The have only muffins to go with coffee. I know they weren't fresh because they were still same ones sitting out from yesterday's coffee. Definitely not fresh because when asked when they were made they were even out of same ones from yesterday, and help didn't know. The difference between service and such in one day was as if it were a different place. Who just stops serving at a bistro between 1 and 3, and why? Between the inconsistencies and bad service, we will just pass this by. Too many other worthy places around to wait for them to be much more than a tepid experience. The potential is limited because of bad service and that's a big element in any service business. read more

I have had the iced lavender latte with oat milk and the cinnamon simple syrup latte with walnut milk. The ambiance is very relaxing. It is a good place to study or catch up with a friend. read more

Maybe my own expectation were wrong going into this place... The description said "Breakfast and Brunch". I thought I would be able to order a plate of food. Um... no. This us a coffee shop with some pre-made sandwiches. They have a refrigerator that is supposed to have salads, but the lady ahead of me snagged the last one. The three remaining wrapped breakfast sandwiches (with egg) were on the counter... not refrigerated. We were there around 4pm. I wondered how long they had been out... they did not look appealing. My kid ordered a latte. It was just shy of $5.50. We took it to go. Although my kid liked the cinnamon flavored drink very much, we will not be going back. We did not explore beyond the "restaurant" area. There seemed to be a boutique area and a liquor store area that was also part of this business. Note - there was a cool chalkboard informational that listed different coffee drinks. My 11 year old was quite fascinated. read more

This place is a hidden gem on the Northwest side of Norman. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. They have exceptional service and make every customer feel welcome. Their wide selection of coffees and teas will not disappoint. My favorite is all of their dairy-free milk choices! We have also been here for a glass of wine in the evening, and again had a wonderful experience. They have a ton of different alcohol options and if you try something you like, you can just pop next door and buy some to take home with you. Arrived after our daughter's graduation this morning and after a slight misunderstanding of the reservation system, these folks did everything in their power to get a group of six seated in a timely manner. Every one of the staff members were beyond courteous and if this place existed in San Antonio, we'd visit weekly. The food was EXCELLENT...fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and delicious.
