This pharmacy has gone downhill since it was bought a few years ago. They NEVER have the meds that my family and/or I take regularly. They feel the need to question dr's orders. They can't deliver meds when they say they will, IF they have the meds, at all. How do you "run out" of a child's ADHD medication, and WHY does it take a week to get it? I'm surprised they still have customers. They've definitely lost our business, which is a shame because I would rather support LOCAL small businesses, not retail chains.
Recently, they refused to fill my g-son's ADHD med when his dr increased the dosage, and wrote a new script, which we carried straight to this pharmacy. They said they would call the dr to have her authorize it. We waited two weeks and never heard back, so we called them. They said they wouldn't fill it for another two weeks, so we called the Dr ourselves, who then called Prescription Shoppe and chewed them out for not filling it. We picked it up that afternoon. Communication might possibly improve my rating, or maybe just a bit of follow-through on their end. Just fill medication when the dr has clearly increased the med dosage (drs often change dosages everyday, so it isn't a rare occurrence). read more
