Many of the patients are senior citizens, including individuals using wheelchairs and walkers. Unfortunately, the waiting area is extremely small, causing patients to sit uncomfortably close together with very little personal space. The overcrowding creates an environment that feels unsafe and unsanitary, especially for elderly individuals and those with health vulnerabilities. One of the most troubling issues is the restroom placement and ventilation. The bathroom is located within the cramped waiting space, and odors from waste frequently spread throughout the entire area where patients are seated. This creates an unpleasant and unhealthy atmosphere for everyone waiting to be seen. Additionally, patients are often required to wait for unreasonable lengths of time while sitting in close proximity to others who may be coughing or sneezing. Given the age and health conditions of many patients, this raises serious sanitation and public health concerns. I respectfully encourage management to reevaluate the waiting room layout, ventilation, seating arrangements, and scheduling process in order to provide a cleaner, safer, and more dignified environment for patients--especially senior citizens who deserve comfort and consideration while receiving medical care.

While I was getting my exam, I felt as though I was taken care of. Dr. Moss took his time and was extremely personable. In fact, the entire staff seemed to take their time and gave me proper care. I would recommend Moss Eyecare to anyone that expects a five star business from kind people.

I was told I was at risk for glaucoma and told I "needed" a $400 test...to make sure. I paid it. They gave me a "discount" so it was about $315, which I paid willingly. I am an amateur artist (just for fun) and my vision is very important to me. It was a few basic tests, the same I normally have every few years or so to test my peripheral vision. This is normally covered IN FULL my insurance. Silly me. I was miraculously ok. The following year I was told I needed the test again. I declined. And the staff looked a little sheepish. I think they are under mandate to try to get you to pay for it. Since then, a coworker of mine was also told he needed the test, and he too paid. I think this is scam they tell customers to pad the books. I have never been told, by any other optometrist, that there was an issue with pressure or needed any additional testing. Fool me once. But this may pay for a new building, but it won't keep your client base. Medical care is expensive enough without cheating people. But making people pay for unnecessary tests? That's unethical, and illegal. Do not patronize them.
