This pharmacy has gone downhill since it was bought a few years ago. They NEVER have the meds that…read moremy family and/or I take regularly. They feel the need to question dr's orders. They can't deliver meds when they say they will, IF they have the meds, at all. How do you "run out" of a child's ADHD medication, and WHY does it take a week to get it? I'm surprised they still have customers. They've definitely lost our business, which is a shame because I would rather support LOCAL small businesses, not retail chains. Recently, they refused to fill my g-son's ADHD med when his dr increased the dosage, and wrote a new script, which we carried straight to this pharmacy. They said they would call the dr to have her authorize it. We waited two weeks and never heard back, so we called them. They said they wouldn't fill it for another two weeks, so we called the Dr ourselves, who then called Prescription Shoppe and chewed them out for not filling it. We picked it up that afternoon. Communication might possibly improve my rating, or maybe just a bit of follow-through on their end. Just fill medication when the dr has clearly increased the med dosage (drs often change dosages everyday, so it isn't a rare occurrence).

I was assisted by a worker named Kia who provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond to provide me with an experienced knowledge of where products were, what they did, and how to get the best deal. I chose the drive-thru to pick up prescriptions because flu and covid are rampant in our area and I wanted to avoid un-necessary contact. However the speaker at the drive-thru is unintelligible, making it difficult (if not impossible) to conduct an intelligent conversation. The employee at the drive-thru could not hear me, and I could not understand her. Because of this, the medications were delivered incorrectly and one was omitted entirely. I was forced to enter the store and disrupt the flow of the employees work just to resolve the problem. Discussions with employees revealed that this audio system is a continuing problem. Get it fixed!!

Strictly regarding the pharmacy at this location…read more I had the unfortunate circumstance of needing to have my controlled prescription sent to this pharmacy. After receiving a phone call from an associate -whose name I don't have- around 11a.m. informing me that the pharmacy needed my ID and health insurance card as I've never registered with their pharmacy, I went right over to submit my info. I was told that it would arrive in about a week and was also given the total (which was $5 above my copay but whatevs) Approximately three hours later, I receive a phone call from an associate named Tracy who stated that they would not be able to fill my prescription as it is from New York. I informed her that I am in town visiting family for a while and I've never had this issue in the past (I travel a TON for work). After a few moments, Tracy informed me that she couldn't get a hold of my doctor and asked if there was another number I had as she needed to verify that I wasn't filling the prescription too early. After giving Tracy the number, I informed her that: 1) it would be a good idea to also contact my health insurance as they have all of my information 2) the nationwide HIPA database has all of the information she is requesting 3) even if I was refilling a prescription early, my insurance has the FCC code to override that Due to the nCoV pandemic After a moment, Tracy asked if the doctor was an online doctor and where the office was located which has nothing to do with MY MEDICATION Not only was it going to take a week for my medication to arrive but they were charging OVER my health insurance maximum out of pocket. I'm incredibly thankful that my pharmacy has a partner branch located here (I received my medication the next day FYI) as having to deal with this pharmacy would've ended with a lawsuit as I have high blood pressure.
