The real reason I'm writing this post is my friend had some not so good wood delivered the next day from them. He notified them and they went above and beyond to make it right. There is a reason they've been a leader in the excavating, construction, ect. space forever. A great family business that everyone should support.

I had Stone Solutions Maine replace a small walkway out front about 2 1/2 years ago. I was so…read morepleased, I had them come back to replace my patio out back. Rob is easy going, while giving me great suggestions, and his work is beautiful! It's artwork! He also took care of everything from helping me size down a little ramp to cleaning up everything before he left. He went beyond expectations. I highly recommend Stone Solutions Maine, and if they can't get to your right away because they're so busy (there's a good reason that!), they are well worth waiting for, if you want quality work.

After being in our newly built home for 2 years, all we could envision was having a beautiful and…read morefunctional space in the backyard - that vision started with wanting a patio. We started looking for stone installers for our project who could accommodate a phased approach, which meant that the company we chose needed to connect with us, kind of like a friend, because our project wouldn't end with the patio and we'd be continuing the relationship into the future as we are able to roll out each phase of our vision. When we met with Rob at Stone Solutions Maine it quickly became apparent that this was our guy. In customer service, it is always the little things that make a big impact, from something as simple as receiving a pleasant "enjoy a wonderful day" at the end of a text communication - you truly feel appreciated as a customer, just as much as you would appreciate someone who is working to fulfill your vision. Everyone at Stone Solutions Maine is friendly, engaging and hardworking, we honestly couldn't have asked for a greater partner in this endeavor. That's just the people, the knowledge and the quality of work are just as exceptional and appreciated. The dedication to precision is obvious - and what's more, you know Stone Solutions Maine enjoys the work and strives to show that in the finished product. To be fair, we did attempt to obtain additional quotes and the experience in just speaking with some other companies was not for us. Stone Solutions Maine provided a reasonable time line for the project completion and finished sooner than we anticipated. From speaking with others about associated costs of installing a patio and in doing my own cost analysis to potentially install it myself, the project cost was more than fair in our opinion. As a new homeowner, working with Stone Solutions Maine has by far been the highlight of our "to do list" experience. We are now able to enjoy a greater connection to our outdoor space with our beautiful stone patio and we look forward to the rest of our vision coming to life with their help!!

it sounds like all these reviews are coming from people who love to complain. Talking about money…read moreand job performance.. its propane... youre not going to get rich saving half a penny per gallon people.. and all these companies know exactly what they are doing with system setups. The problem is that some homeowners think they are getting screwed over (because thats what they do to everyone else) when the company highly recommends something. Homeowner says no so they can brag to their neighbor about getting the same system cheaper then wonders why it didnt work the exact way they wanted it to.. and coincidently, these are the same people that take time to come on this shit and give 1 star ratings.. Anywhoooo... i had some time today to find a new company because i bought a house and the old gas guys (not mentioning) came and took my only tank. I called around for a new company and settled with these guys immediately. And notice how im not talking shit about the other companies? These arent McDonalds, most of these companies are family owned and matters or complaints like this should be handled internally. That being said, this place is unbelievably professional and truly wants to help solve any problems with you. They answer the phone every single time and are just genuine human beings. And if you cant see these things as a customer, youre part of the problem. Stop complaining, everything is fixable.

I was away at the time so did not oversee the job. Upon my return, I was surprised that the work was not completed as I had anticipated but did not demand that it be done. Upon being flooded again in 2024, I contacted the company and requested that they complete the job. I could not be more delighted that they did the right thing by me and did it with no additional charges. I feel confident going forward with them as my propane provider and know that if I have another issue, they will be good business partners.

Be cautious when relying on their "10 year no non-sense warranty". They replaced our roof in 2020,…read moreand we now have a leakage. Getting them to come out and inspect it has been impossible--multiple delays, shifting reasons (weather, scheduling, location), and periods of simply no response. After days of trying to resolve this, I mentioned I might need legal help if the issue wasn't addressed. The response I received was: "tell your lawyer to talk to mine." At this point, the main issue isn't just the leak--it's the lack of follow-through once the job is complete. A warranty should provide support when problems arise, and that hasn't been my experience. Draw your own conclusions.
