Nick is fantastic at what he does - welding. I had a very very specific, precise, accurate, symmetrical, project that I needed him to do. While searching for a welder to do this project it was looked at as a burden... imagine that? Work and making money being burdensome. Not with Nick... when I stopped using Facebook as my search engine I came across NRK and when I reached out I was greeted with excitement and an eagerness to work on this project. I immediately made it clear of my expectations for exact measurements and symmetry. To which Nick replied that aluminum welding is difficult and he can get everything within 1/8 of an inch. I appreciated the honesty - I explained that I thought this would be best as a collaborative process and he agreed. We met before the project began and started letting the ideas and questions flow. During the entire project he would touch base, ask the necessary questions, double check that what he was doing was the right thing... and would repeatedly have me stop by to talk about the process and help overcome hurdles in regards to putting a TV into a mobile DJ booth. When we got to the very last stage of this build I realized that a part of the tv was not accounted for and it was totally screwing up the way we had it already fabricated. Nick was smart... he didn't fully weld the position of the bottom support for the TV. I went over one last time with the TV and came up with the most cost effective way to fix the oversight. This was something both him and I missed.... I took the responsibility for the oversight, it's the right thing to do, but he also accepted some of it and worked with me on the pricing for the hiccup. Overall this project came out exactly how he told me it would. Within 1/8" everywhere I provided exact measurements. Couldn't be happier with this.... it's a first for him... and who knows because I have a lot of friends in the business. This experience may be just what we both needed for a new product line! lol... I don't know that Nick would agree. The morale of this long review is that 1) Nick is the man 2) You will not regret the end result he produces 3) His desire to do things right and give you exactly what you want and need is a characteristic most tradesmen do not have. He didn't look at his larger jobs as a priority.... we were all priority.... and he got this done while working on other things. That's huge. Thank you Nick.
