Before my car when in, he was just finishing a Mustang and as I was picking us my car, he had started work on an old Mercedes SL. If you've ever wondered where you go to get a convertible top replaced, Gagnon's is the place. Next year I'll have to work on making the rest of the car look as good as the top! Quick update (10/21/16): The new top is great, no leaks and no problems. The only thing I didn't realize was that in the beginning, I'd have to gently help the plastic window to learn how to fold and I might have gotten it off to a bad start if I had known that. But it's late October in Maine so the top probably isn't coming down until next spring and I'll work on it then. I still love it.

After I chose from his recommend fabric sample I went to his shop ( which is located in his house) and after he told me 'great choice in color and in fabric ' somewhere in the time after meeting me . He was sure the fabric was 'too expensive' for me. Even after I assured him that I was aware of the price and told be that I wanted that fabric Because he was reluctant to order the first fabric base on the price I did compromise and asked him to order a cheaper option (at his suggestion) which after 5 days he never even ordered that second fabric- After 10 days with no fabric order because he decided on his own not to order it . And not even an invoice for materials. I was left feeling insulted and ignored throughout the ordeal . Despite his excitement over the phone , upon meeting me he expressed longer wait time and the need for less expensive fabrics He did not participate much in discussions. Saying 'no phone contact and 'he didn't like to handle people money' After almost two weeks of this I asked to just have the chair back. He did at least bring the chair back ( still needing to be reupholstered) waste of time . Little to no communication . Difficult experience. Do not recommend

Nothing I wanted was taken into consideration. Frank was extremely rude and wasn't very nice. He didn't seem to care about anything I was concerned about. They didn't take any responsibility for anything they had done wrong. I am extremely disappointed and I do not recommend this company to anyone. I will be looking into different local businesses and companies who will provide me with kindness and respect and take what I want into consideration.
