The companies ranged from a two man crew to one that employs thousands of people across the country. The estimates ranged from $13,000 to $61,000 and anywhere from one day to a couple of weeks to complete. We eventually selected Dover Roofing's very reasonable estimate to remove the old shingles and replace them with new GAF asphalt shingles. We could not be any more pleased with Dover Roofing and their entire team. From Ryan, who gave us a very detailed estimate, to Savannah, to the entire removal/installation unit (10 very conscientious people) and Tyler, the big boss! Everyone was the epitome of "old school service and job dedication" and strived to see the work was done right. Also, (and very important) Dover Roofing did not find any problems that "had to be fixed" at an additional cost like so many other roofing companies do. Dover Roofing's prices are very reasonable. Given their excellent service, they are a true bargain. Thanks again to EVERYONE at DOVER ROOFING. ps. We're so pleased with Dover Roofing that we're having them come back next week to repair some siding on our house. Well, after 20 years our old roof gave out. They did not meet their stated completion date and we had to move in with construction going on for another couple of months! The project start date was delayed two months as well. Some of their work was done well but other things were not, and we requested them to be corrected when significant. When they were nearly finished, they started balking at correcting errors and demanding more money, and that is when we stopped the project with a few tasks left uncompleted. At times they behaved professionally and polite and other times they would act insulted and angry with our requests for corrections or additions ignored.

OVERPRICED AND POOR QUALITY ! STAY AWAY. Steve LeMay gave us a quote last fall of $5,000 for fill…read moreand $3,000 to loam and seed our side and back lawn. This spring his crew came to do the work. The fill was delivered but was not put where I had wanted it. Steve told me he could NOT move the fill and that I would have to pay more for additional fill. He delivered and spread more fill and I paid him a total of $6,750, which is $1750 more than what he quoted, telling me he had given me a discount. He left my paved driveway covered in sand, ruts all the way across my front lawn from his skid steer loader, and ruts over the back lawn. I was then informed that the 4 inches of loam he quoted at $3,000 was now going to cost $12,000. Needless to say, I was outraged. I decided to hire someone else to loam the yard. I was quoted $2,800 elsewhere for 6 inches of loam with grass seed. Unfortunately, the other company could not do the job for 8 weeks and no other company could come out sooner. I was told the fill I bought from Steve LeMay was double what I should have paid. Since then more than half of the poor quality fill (very fine grain powder-like sand instead of thicker sand that stays in place) that was delivered has washed away and the front, side and back lawn look terrible. I now have a $6,500 loan with interest to pay back which isn't easy since I am on Disability. I am devastated. Do NOT hire these people ! The first photo is of my front lawn before We Dig It ruined it. The rest is what Steve refers to as his quality workmanship. DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS !

Due to the demolition required to build the stairs, we asked if they could begin that process when we left for an 8 day vacation in January. Before we left he told us he not only planned on building the stairs but basically completing the entire job! While we were gone we got consistent updates, pictures and videos of the progress. When we got back the job was 99% complete. He gave us time to figure out if there were any adjustments to make and took care of our requests. They do good work on an aggressive schedule.
