I don't understand why other contractors are so hard to schedule, but Darrel is the most accommodating tradesmen I have ever encountered. Probably won't hurt to mention what a good guy he is and how well he explains what he is proposing to do or what he has done. He respects one's intelligence. He was willing to come within a couple of days to check out the job and provide an estimate -- he was there the next day. He was also polite and respectful with asking for my preference about him wearing a mask. On his way out, it occurred to me to ask him a question about a concern I had about an old outlet. He came back in to check it out and was willing to replace it right then, and taught me how to know when one should be replaced. I found two others in the house while he did that one and he was willing to replace those, too, in spite of having another job scheduled after mine.
