I have a nice looking home otherwise, so, it was making me crazy. Junior impressed me right away, very professional and knows his sh*t. I saw no reason to get any other quotes. We talked, he took some pics and measurements, and we shook hands and agreed to work together. I put together some drawings of how I wanted the design, we met again, flushed some things out and agreed on a plan. He provided me a very concise and clear written quote, I signed, and we agreed on a start time a little later in the summer, better for both of us. End of August, they got started, and BAM, they were on it. These guys are awesome, hard working, smart, focused, and absolutely know how to maximize their time. What they accomplished in two weeks is still mindblowing to me. I have mostly worked things by myself, around the house, and this would have taken me a whole summer to get done, maybe longer. Everything came out exactly as planned. It looks soooo great, absolutely exceeded my expectations. I can't stress how much I enjoyed the process of just watching it all come together. Jim spent time with us, showing us the product they use and beautiful catalogs on both the paver choices and the sitting wall styles. Randy and the guys worked really hard to pull out our roots and excavate properly before laying the new pavers and Javier Rodriguez our project manager kept it all on track and communicated everything clearly as we went along. We looked at having concrete as maybe a cheaper alternative but there seemed to be a lot of "extras" like drainage, excavation etc that pushed the total price a lot closer to using pavers than I initially expected. The pavers gives a really nice custom feel to the property and we couldn't be happier with the results. Attention to detail was first class, clean up was efficient and I really appreciated having a dedicated crew to work on my job from start to finish. You hear horror stories of jobs that get started then drag on for weeks while the contractors juggle multiple job sites. Our guys came every day and the job was completed in under 3 weeks which is about half what I was quoted for concrete jobs. Thanks to everyone at System Pavers, a highly recommend this company. Great warranty and a quality job! Bobcat guy they used -- 5 stars. and that's when it started to fall apart - Not sure if he didn't have a big enough crew for the job, or if they lacked the ability to work more than 3 hours a day without bailing. By the time they wanted to wrap up the job, there were so many unfinished tasks - they rushed and left us with cleaning up after them. 6 weeks after they finished the job (and were paid) we've just spent the 5th weekend in a row clearing mulch, removing yards of weeds and had to have a professional plumber come in to finish the irrigation installation. The last thing you want in a contractor is to feel like everything is being done as easily and quickly as possible so they can get on to the next job. We never felt like that with Pinnacle. They listened to us, offered candid, helpful feedback, and always kept us in the loop about where we were in the process. When they were doing fine, detail work, they took their time to make sure it was done right. Our next big project was a deck replacement/expansion. Despite some delays caused by supply chain issues and poor plan checking by the county (both of which were beyond Pinnacle's control), they built a fantastic deck for our home. Again, we could not be more pleased with the quality of workmanship and how well we were treated during the entire demo and construction time. After several less than satisfactory forays into home renovation, we believe we have found a contractor who does great work, stands by his product, doesn't make you feel like your project is just another item on a "to do" list, and is great at communication.
