I came here to get a painting framed that I received for wedding present with my wife. We visited a couple different places and really were sold on a frame here that was custom frame. They do several different frame types, there are custom frames that someone will create and your typical frames that you would get in a normal framing store. On January 25th, we picked the frame and paid. The owner stated that it would take three weeks to receive the finalized frame. Just over three weeks pass and I email requesting the status for the frame. The frame is not complete. Actually the guy who was creating the frame for me was in a different country and my frame was going to be delayed. The owner stated she would contact me in a given time frame. The time frame passed and several days later I had to reach out to her to get a response. This happened several times during this transaction. I believe about nine times total where I was promised a certain time to follow up or that my frame would be ready and the time passed and I was waiting by the phone. I was always the person reaching out to the owner after the promised contact date. During all of these follow ups, two months passed, five weeks longer than I was promised, and the frame was in. I went to go pick it up and thought it looked a little different than what I was expecting. I brought it home and my wife thought it was off too. When I compared it to the photo I took originally it was off. Actually the workmanship of the frame example we chose was about 3 to 4 levels below what we received. It was like a different person created this frame that the person who created the the mock up. We reached out the the owner and she said to bring it back into the store. We did and started to wait again. She said it would take three weeks and three weeks passed with no reach out. We had to again, reach out to her. She said the guy who was making the frame with MIA. We went back and fourth several times where she said she would contact us by a certain date and did not. It was pretty frustrating overall. If the owner would just reach out to us when she stated and set our expectations, it would have been a different experience. Since she did not, it escalated the issue. She called just a couple days ago and said our frame was in. The entire experience took over four months to have our frame made and all the back and fourth. It did not look like much was done with the frame. Almost identical to what I took back. There was a little extra work done, but not to the full detail that I was expecting. They definitely fell short on the craftsmanship and on the service expectation at this store. I did end up getting a small discount on the frame, however I don't think it was big enough. The frame that was made was defiantly about half the value of the one that was promised. I would steer clear of this business if you need something framed.

Thank goodness I found someone because I was tired of hearing the renter across from me snoring all the damn time. He even had the nerve to buy gifts for me because he was embarrassed about him being drunk and passing out everywhere. Pretty much trying to buy me with gifts so I wouldn't complain on him for living there. Yeah I said it! Him and his friend who I thought were filmmakers ( so they said) were the most disruptive people I have ever met. I would be there late and all I hear is fighting from them... Bottles of alcohol and smelling of weed in the kitchen or hallway. People were complaining about the smell of the paint I was using. But all I could really do were open the limited amount of windows. Poor ventilation, nosy, rude tenants. I've had food stolen from me several times and problem never got any better. Restroom and kitchen were always filthy. So many negative experiences I won't even begin to list them. The only good part was dealing with Kelly. Other than that the owner is just eager to fill up space in a poorly maintained building. Never personally apologized about the POLICE RAID either!! One of the artists was pregnant and cops were pointing a gun at her!! All over a mistake the office made downstairs over some fraudulent document. Which for some reason required more than 10 cops going through our office spaces and having us lined up against a wall! F that! I hated my experience. I spoke with some artists that use to rent from the space during my time there and even they didn't want to continue because of harassment and constant accusations from the owner. If you are interested in lack of privacy, within a stale, lifeless building be my guest. Its easier to get positive reviews than honest ones, and that's all I was trying to do .

It took us almost three weeks to get any definitive answers, which should've been enough of a red flag but I unfortunately decided to look past that. Spoke to ChadMichael (owner/founder) on the phone who was so extremely unprofessional and I truly don't understand how he is able to run a business. Eventually he says that he can't confirm the mannequins we need until 2 days before our event, even though we initially reached out 2-3 weeks ago. Says he has "other priorities" and is "working on multiple projects" but when we first spoke he told us that he would "definitely make this happen"... Also said that he doesn't know his inventory so he's not sure if he is able to provide the mannequins we are looking for and that we will have to be okay with other ones. Don't waste your time :-)
