Eddie and the rest of the management team should be ashamed at the reputation they have built for themselves through years and years of incompetent, unprofessional, unnecessary and uncompromising behavior. Every art director, decorator, and shopper knows that premiere props is the most ironically named house in the city - its rock bottom in terms of service. Need something photographed because you're 90 minutes away and won't make it there in time? they'll laugh you off the phone if you ask. Need to modify something and then restore it before returning it to them in the same condition it was rented? Dont bother, they have a policy of not letting anyone do anything to their inventory, not even switching out simple pieces that are held by screws like tabletops and bases. Not even if you return it in better condition then it went out - they'll L&D your butt before you can say 'why are you guys like this?' These guys clearly hate their jobs and act like they don't want your business. The place is a dump because they're too cheap to hire cleaners like the other prop houses do - everything is covered in dust and they have literally the trashiest daytime reality TV playing 24/7 in their office so Eddie and the other guy can enjoy something as terrible as they are while they pretend to work. If only everyone there would finally retire so they can get some young and enthusiastic employees who care about growing the business. I love not going here, and more people do every day.

I've had lamps in for repairs elsewhere before, and they've been in the shop for about a week, so I couldn't believe how fast this was. I knew they had shades, but I didn't know they had this kind of selection. Hundreds in every shape size and color scattered around the room, so there was no problem finding the perfect one. I don't live near there, but it's close enough that if I ever have another issue with a lamp, I'm coming straight here.

Just look at the pictures of this place, it's the 50's,60's,70's, and 80's all rolled into one…read more They have old Texaco signs, old Coke and Pepsi Bottles, they have an array of history that you just don't see anywhere. It is almost like a commercial history museum. They could probably charge admission just for people to walk around and remember things from their childhood. The two guys that are always in the yard helping us when we pick up dumpsters are always beyond funny and friendly, and we are always talking about food and desserts with them when we go, and the people that work in the office and always warm and inviting to us when we walk in. I just wish we worked on more shows that would utilize this place for everything they have. When I walk in it reminds me of Back to the Future, I am just waiting for a nicely dressed young man to walk up and ask me if he can pump my gas....
