There was so much to see, so many colors of various types of merchandise and balloons everywhere. I grabbed a shopping cart and off we went. We walked every single aisle and were happy to see many of the same types of items we had purchased in the past when hosting numerous themed parties and school activities that required them. We added numerous items we wanted to use for our daughter's upcoming high school graduation and upcoming birthday. Sure, we could have possibly ordered these items on Amazon and saved a few cents, but I still like to touch and hold the items I wish to buy in my hands and see them up close for myself, instead of simply viewing everything on a computer screen and/or on my cell phone. Call me old-fashioned As we paid for our merchandise, the cashier explained that the reason this store and four other Party City stores still existed in Southern California was that they were independently owned. The bankruptcy of Party City recently forced all stores to close; however, independently owned stores were not impacted. My friend said Western is the best and she was absolutely right! Christina worked with me to make sure I had a costume with one days notice for my daughter's school project. She emailed me photos, talked me through what measurements she needed and even recommended an alternative costume shop in case she didn't have what I needed. Not only did she have the perfect costume, but she found the best accessory for the dress and helped fit my daughter as well. And she gave me a great price for the rental!
