Jennifer and Sharon went far above and beyond in bringing a selection of chairs to help make her as comfortable as possible. When her back began to cramp up, they brought her an ice pack, and then turned down the a/c in our room so she wouldn't be too chilly. Each of us appreciated the extraordinarily helpful and thoughtful attitude that Sharon and Jennifer bring to their work. THANK YOU!!!! In addition to Jennifer and Sharon, this location was recently remodeled, offers coffee, filtered water, vending machines, and new furniture. The building has plentiful parking, and offers a nice cafe downstairs. Plus, it's centrally located, and freeway-close. Big fan of this Regus and their excellent team.

The space itself was really nice, the outdoor area has a beautiful view, and Corrine (apologies if I misspelled your name!) was extremely welcoming and kind. What..the...heck... My office and I planned a seminar event…read moreto host here, since we've always been a fan of the layout and the vibes. We booked way in advance, paid the deposit, confirmed with them a week before our event. Basically did everything to a T, which still wasn't sufficient because the people at seven co FORGOT about our event. It started at 6 PM so we show up at around 5:10 with nothing set up or ready like we had agreed. We were freaking out at this point, since we had around 30 people who had signed up to come. We didn't really have any emergency contact info and since the seven co staff had left for the day, we thought we just needed to cancel. We were SO upset and I literally was on the verge of a breakdown. The whole thing just looked so bad and unprofessional on us, and we had been working our asses off to plan this for weeks. Somehow, our President dug through his contact book from years ago and found Katrina's old cellphone number, which we tried calling and texting, at first to no luck. Then, surprisingly at around 5:40 she texted and called back apologizing and agreeing to send someone. Apparently her coworker, Corinne, had forgotten to check the calendar.... So Corinne shows up and sets up the room for us, which pushed our event back to 6:30. She was nice and really apologetic, although my heart rate was still to the roof at this point. The event itself panned out fine, but we were so flustered and it was definitely just not a great start or experience whatsoever. From what I heard from my coworker, they agreed to give us a refund but honestly, I really don't think that makes up for much. If my dad hadn't had Katrina's cell phone number or if we wouldn't have been able to reach them, that would've been SO bad. This sounds harsh, but I mean it respectfully--I can't imagine ever booking an event with them again, which is a bummer since the venue itself is nice.

I've visited other coworking spaces, some of which either don't feel inviting or felt like more of a hangout spot as opposed to a place to get work done. This is not the case at Industrious.. it's quiet and not distracting.. I can focus! This place has all the amenities of an effective office space so that you can focus on what's important-- running your business! Every client I've brought here has been impressed by how nice this place is. It's definitely a great place to bring prospects and to close a deal. There's a range of other businesses here, which provides a great opportunity for networking. The building is not too full right now, but I enjoy the close knit community and being able to see and recognize faces. Don't get me started on the food.. On the daily, you can expect breakfast pastries, specialty coffee, and La Croix on hand. Also, basically every day there is a cute treat going on, whether it be omelettes, beer/wine/cocktails, charcuterie, crafts, holiday related items, or healthy (and delicious) snacks. You can tell that Rachel and Kennedy really go the extra mile to brighten up our day (and fill our stomachs) to make the workplace a little less monotonous. Whether you're used to working from home or have an office elsewhere, I recommend giving this place a visit. There are too many little great details to mention that just need to be experienced in person. Ask about getting a free coworking trial for a week!

Bizhaus Costa Mesa was on the short list of places near major freeways, decent location to home base (work), and actual home. I spoke to Chris over the phone one day prior, and Karolina helped me out when I stopped by the following day to purchase a day pass ($30?). Note: Parking is a separate charge of $75/month, or you can try to find parking on the street. While it is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, because of all the mostly auto shops along the street, there's really not much "free" parking unless you come super early. Karolina gave me a tour of the facility - everything is on the same floor. Kitchen has several fridges, coffee on tap, a nifty little coffee/espresso machine, some vending machines. Tea station, water dispenser, even a beer fridge full of sugary alcoholic drinks (I didn't try any). Unlike WW Redstone, the bathrooms here actually have toilet covers! Maybe that was Redstone's downfall. Tons of open communal workspace, in addition to private offices/suites. I came on a Thursday, so not too many people were working on-site, as it's one of their more quiet days. It was nice to see the wall of different companies/businesses that call this site their "work home base". I settled in on one of the booths near the kitchen. Super fast wifi, lots of outlets, clean seating/tables. They offer different membership options - day pass at $30 (they kick you out at 5pm), flex pass at $175 (10 days/mo. booted at 5pm), Open Desk at $275 (24/7 access), Dedicated Desk at $375 (24/7) and Private offices starting at $700 (24/7). Parking is a separate $75/mo. if you want to park in their dedicated lot. While I still have to check out a few other coworking spots in the area before settling on one - Bizhaus is definitely among my top 3 at the moment.
