Our guests continued to use The Roof when they needed a break from the band. The food was also excellent. Many of our guests remarked on its quality, including some who had their own catering businesses. We found Bridget Ann and Kaelan very easy to work with, and there were no last minute surprises. Paper towels strung all over the place. A random mop hanging out in front of the stalls. I get that it was a Friday night and that there was a second event taking place at the same time, but they had a LOT of staff that seemed to prefer standing around instead of working to keep the restroom tidy... Also, there was a lot of confusion as to where to put our empty plates. The buffet was located in the room across the hall from where the event we were attending was being held. Some people took their plates back across the hall to enjoy their meal at a table, while some of us just stood around in the room with the food and chose to enjoy our meals away from the loud dance floor. When we were finished eating, we had no idea what to do with our empty plates. We asked a staff member as they were walking by and he didn't seem to know what to do with them, either, which was perplexing. He grabbed one of his coworkers who then took our plates from us. Overall, this was a pretty good experience from a guest's perspective! The venue is VERY large and accommodates for very big guest lists, which is a huge advantage. However, I do think the staff could use some better training to help lessen overall confusion and to help keep the place in a cleaner condition while the event space is being used.
