Worse, she only contacted me on the morning of 4/15--after she had already scheduled an unauthorized $1,250 withdrawal from my old account. Because of her negligence, I am now burdened with the arduous process of recovering these funds from the FTB myself. Between the total breakdown in communication and this financial fallout, I no longer trust her with my affairs. Look elsewhere if you value basic accountability.

I was "let go" as a client in the middle of tax season (I now have to file an extension) over a conversation with their administrative assistant. While discussing issue I was encountering with "SmartVault" I commented that this is a customer satisfaction issue for the firm. I suppose that wasn't taken well. Long story short, you do not "let go" of a loyal client during tax season leaving them to file an extension regardless the circumstance. Especially without hearing the other side of the story. I cannot recommend Ferber & Bouslog as they did not do the right thing. I can understand a difference of opinion, which this simply was not, but to abandon a loyal client during tax season (with a track record of stellar communication and great rapport) is simply unacceptable. If you have a difference of opinion or voice a concern to their employees you may be quite literally dumped... mind you, during tax season. I view this as unethical and unfortunately unacceptable.
