We verified insurance would cove 100% of the cost. The sales person explained the process to us and had us pay in advance almost $7K. We left with one wig and one was to be ordered. It has been almost a month, we are still waiting on insurance paperwork to be filed. I have called multiple times and can not get anyone at Gayla to answer or return my call. The one time that I was able to speak to someone on the phone she said that she did not know how to do the insurance paperwork. I cannot get a straight answer, we still do not have both wigs and are out 7K. I wish we had gone somewhere else!

I purchased a wig for 2,700$ for full human hair, it started off fine. After three months the lace began to unravel. Badly. Way passed usual wear and tear, as lace fraying is normal. The hair came out in droves when I would care for it. Having dealt with wigs before I followed, all necessary care instructions to keep my wig at its best to no avail. The wig now is unusable, with several bald spots as pictured. I took very VERY good care of this wig. This was a lot of money for me to spend, and I am expected to get what I pay for in terms of quality when I spend that amount of money on a human hair wig not to have it collapse, after only five months of daily use and wear. I am upset this is how it turned out, but it is what it isI suppose. I did call the shop last month and asked if they did wig repair, to which they told me they do not do but to send it to the wig doctor online, and when I looked at prices, the repair of the wig would be about the same as my purchase of the wig. I feel bad writing a review for such lovely people, but the quality isn't there.

I tried several and each one looked like ok.....I bought one and went home with it on my head. I wanted to return it as I was having a change of heart. I went back and I must admit the lady was a good sales & promoter at her job. While she said all sales are final and she would just exchange the wig for a different one with same price tag. As I said good sales & promor as she seem to convince me ...I looked good. However the following day, the wig turned out to be too large for my head and kept riding up. I feel like I was taken advantage off. I have learned I am supposed to get measured to make sure the wig cap is the right size plus I also learned I paid too much for synthetic hair. I was told synthetice hair wigs are a lot cheaper to make but priced up like 110% just like jewelry. I will not be going back and chalked it up to lesson learned at a costly price. Here is the breakdown on some of the effects they carry: Merle Norman Cosmetics- The only location in BCS where you can get it. I have been using this makeup company for years and love it. Plus they will give you a free makeover whether you just want a new way to wear your eye-makeup or you actually want an entire skin care lesson. Brighton Collectables- They have the biggest selection in BCS of jewelry, and I'm pretty sure the other stores that carry Brighton don't have their other products like handbags or shoes. The ladies that work here are very helpful and if they don't have a piece you're looking for they will special order it for you no problem. Vera Bradley- A few other places in town carry this line as well but none of them offer the personalized customer service that this location has as well as such a large selection. Hair-U-Wear- They have wigs and hair pieces out the wahzoo!! The hair pieces they carry are very high quality. I got one of the ponytail ones just for fun. I love using it when I'm having a bad hair day and believe it or not I get compliments! They also have a ton of little random gift ideas as well as clothes. The clothing is more geared toward women who are 40+ though. The store can be a little overwhelming with the amount of items that are packed into it but the ladies there are more than willing to help you search through it and I think they have been making more of an effort to organize it recently. We'd given up and we're going to go back to just using clips ins for volume. We went to Vanity hair Supply off Rayford and found a few products. While we were there I asked the lady helping us if she did hair. She said no, but Desiree at Crownz and Tresses did her and her daughter's hair. We ran over there around 11am on a Saturday. We went in and Desiree came over to help us. She listened and understood what we we're looking for. She told us exactly what she could do. I loved that she was conservative and didn't try to do more than what my daughter needed. We ran home and grabbed the extensions and Desiree had them in and finished within and hour. Which was amazing since my daughter was leaving the next day. I just really can't say enough about her and the salon. Fairest prices we have found anywhere. Please check her out.
