They are coming out Friday, and we will see what happens, but I feel that Groundworks genuinely wanted to make me happy and accepted that their repair was not up to their standards. However, when they wanted to charge me $20,000 for new repairs, they were very fast to provide a contract and answer phone calls. It seems like they have no intention on honoring their warranty, although they are quick to ask for more money for other work. They promised stability in their foundation work, which they did about 2 years ago. Since then, the house moves more than ever. I have had to call someone to fix the outside door three times in two years since they repaired the foundation. An inside bathroom door does not close anymore for the first time in 20 years, and this is after they worked on the foundation two years ago. And Groundworks won't schedule a time to even take a look at it, even after I have been calling them for two months. They clearly have no intention to honor their warranty.

I felt the proposal was focused on only what was needed, which made the proposal an affordable option for me when compared to others. The install was delayed a day by weather, so the crew worked on it the next day. They completed the installation of all piers (to include two breakouts in the driveway) and cleaned up all in one business day. They left the site cleaned up and the breakouts were filled with fresh concrete. Overall a professional job. I will keep Supreme Foundation in mind if I need more pier work done in the future.

We also noticed one crack in ceiling. The house is 45 years old. We had a well know large foundation company come out and do a sales pitch on a "fix" for $23,000 to over $60,000! They offered three levels of fix which I found odd. You either fix a problem or you don't. The salesman really tried to sell us on their method, etc. I felt it wasn't a completely honest quote so we got on the books with Olshan. Their rep., Mike J came out and did the same inspections and measurements as the first large competitor and sat down and said that the problem was a concrete quality issue in the garage, not an overall foundation issue. While there was some settling in areas, nothing was terribly bad and there was only the one crack in sheet rock. No doors sticking, no bricks cracking, windows still perfectly sealed. He said trying to offer us a foundation lift could actually cause more problems than it fixed and advised to get people who know how to patch concrete to fix the chipping and gave advice on what a good job versus bad job looks like. We were very happy to get an honest discussion and feel better knowing there's nothing major wrong. I give them 5 stars for integrity and not trying to make a buck where there's no work to do.

Extremely Disappointed -- Drainage System Failed, No Accountability…read more We hired Olshan Foundation Repair in 2022 to install a drainage system through their irrigation and drainage division. At the time, the system was never tested, but since we experienced 15 months with virtually no measurable rain, there was no immediate way to assess its effectiveness. Unfortunately, when we finally did get two significant rain events recently, the drainage system failed completely -- resulting in water entering our home. Prior to the most recent rain, their own sales rep came out to inspect the setup and admitted that their original design wasn't working as intended. Their solution? Ask us to spend an additional $5,800 on surface drains, despite the fact that we already spent $10,000 on a system that still doesn't work. Even more frustrating is that they acknowledge their system's failure, yet refuse to take reasonable steps to correct or stand behind their work. They're not interested in working with us to find a fair resolution -- just selling us more fixes to a problem they created. Adding insult to injury, I referred two major foundation repair jobs to Olshan, each totaling over $20,000. That's more than $40,000 in business sent their way -- and yet when we need help with a failed system they designed, we're left out in the rain (literally). I would not recommend Olshan for drainage work. They over-promise, under-deliver, and refuse to take proper responsibility for poor design and faulty performance. Anthony O'Neal / Jason Posey

AVOID Cabinet Depot at all costs!!!…read more If you're considering Cabinet Depot in San Antonio for your kitchen cabinets or countertops, STOP and save yourself from this bs place. Our experience was a colossal disappointment marked by shoddy product quality and god-awful customer service. We expected professional products, but what we received from Cabinet Depot was far from it. This company tried to get away with delivering me some lazy, quickly thrown-together wood they call cabinets. The cabinets were assembled with shocking carelessness. Seriously, like they didn't give a single f. Our "finished" cabinets arrived with visible, unprofessional lines drawn in permanent marker; not a single cabinet drawer lined up correctly, NOT A SINGLE ONE. We received a glass door that was never ordered, and the countertops completely ignored our specific tapering requests. The drawers were literally falling apart because there was nothing holding them together! Because they don't use wood glue, they said. Beyond the abysmal product quality, Cabinet Depot's customer service was equally infuriating. Our repeated attempts to reach them for resolution were met with a complete lack of urgency and responsiveness. It was only after we sent a stern email, explicitly threatening to file a formal complaint and dispute the charge with American Express, that we finally received any attention. (I feel sorry for those who pay cash to these people.) Even then, the resolution was incomplete. While they did address approximately 70% of the issues, the remaining problems were left for us to deal with and fix ourselves. To add insult to injury, when our contractor attempted to return unused molding--which we were verbally told would be refunded--he was met with a refusal, claiming it was "banged up," despite us never having used it. Save Yourself the Headache: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Our experience with Cabinet Depot in San Antonio was a costly lesson in poor quality and abysmal customer care. We paid a significant amount for what we believed would be high-quality cabinets and countertops, only to receive a product riddled with defects and a company that only responds under duress. Do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration, wasted time, and additional expenses. There are far more reputable kitchen cabinet and countertop providers in San Antonio who prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. DO NOT make the same mistake we did.
