Food is delicious and fairly priced. The staff is amazing.

I found out about this place from a receipt from Giant Eagle. The food is awful. I should have believed every other review. They severely undercooked my pizza. It was doughy. They also go buy a new name and don't accept the coupons that are out already even though they have the same owner and they change the name of the business. Cook your pizza longer. This place is horrible. The food is gross the people running this place are terrible. Refused to serve me called me a racist Trump supporter. Said they won't serve Trump supporters. I'm not and was shocked. Update. The owner commented. This really happened the food sucks it's under cooked overly greasy and the bacon used looks like begging strips dog food. It's not real. Not even a star. Amaar is blatantly disrespectful towards women, racist towards white people, and uses food he dropped on the floor to serve customers. I used to work for them, and tried their overly salty pizzas. Amaar wouldn't discuss my schedule and my hours with me and wanted 10-12 hour shifts out of me when we first discussed me working minimum wage and 40 hours a week. He tried to pay me five dollars an hour and wouldn't listen when I told him from the beginning I'm doing school and another job at the time and had to work around it. For a guy who lost his brother in a shooting, and wants people to care about how he feels, he sure lacks empathy... avoid their food and their employment. I walked out and didn't even take my 26 hour check and never looked back. I'd suggest you do the same. read more

CONSUMER ALERT! Premium New York Style Pizza Akron Ohio. I ordered the #3 Lg. cheese Pizza 2 (12") Cheese Steaks and Two small fries. Ordered to our address in West Akron. They sent our food to another address I never got the order but still got charged. We specified three times the address and told them to call us when the order came in which they never did. Watch out Folks these guys are Crooks. We called back saying our order had not come in and they said 'well we sent it to the address on the card which was our old address and we are sorry we cannot give you your money back. They Charged me 25.00 for Food I Never Recieved!!! I will never ever ever deal with these guys again. I ended up having to Eat Mashed Potatoes and Ham....Really Really Disapointed with this. I don't recommend dealing with these guys. Im reporting them to the BBB. read more

We were just driving through town and happened to see the sign for Pizza. The owner was very nice and helpful and recommended a Stromboli. It was pretty amazing. Filled with steak, veggies and cheesey goodness! I wish we lived closer so we could come again! read more

You cannot be serious. Just tried this place, ordered ziti with meatballs. The sauce was SO tangy it puckered my mouth and calling those frozen dough balls "meat" balls is a damn joke. They deliver on or before schedule. Food was hot and tasty for a neighborhood pizza joint. They offer good coupons and other deals.

So we place our order at 12 and they did not deliver until 1:30. Fast delivery?! I think not!!!! Fries was cold and soggy. When we called to speak to manager did not acknowledge the fact it took an hour and a half to deliver just acknowledge that they were outside. So food was not fresh at all and I give you guys two thumbs down!!! read more

A bunch of us from work ordered out a large delivery order. The food arrived 1 1/2 hours later, cold. Some of the portions seemed undersize. The salads were subpar. No condiments or utensils for the price paid. Some of the orders were incorrect. All in all a not so stellar experience. Will likely not order from there again. read more

Premium? My ass. These people couldnt run a business if they tried. Took 2 tries to get my complete order. And still didnt get what i paid for. I ordered 2 "20 oz" bottles of pepsi. And only got one. And they are only 16.9 oz bottles. I had to call back like 5 times just to get them to send it out. Instead i get threatened and lied to and cussed out. Some business practice and customer service. Horrible!!!! Don't know what's happened to this establishment but it is terrible now! Sent us the wrong sandwich with out order do I called back and it took them an hour to send the replacement. We called back and the person who said they were the manager was rude and cussing at my husband and hung up on him. Will not be ordering from them anymore. Horrible horrible horrible!!! read more

Ordered chicken and Jo Jo. Breading was so hard that we couldn't eat it. 4 of the 6 drumsticks looked like wing dings about an inch and a half long. Ended up throwing most of the order away. Terrible. I am not ordering here again. read more

Don't know what happened to this place. Use to order from their all the time. Never again!! To start off the guy that took my order didn't seem to know how to do so. Could be why my order was wrong. Ordered a gyro sandwich and a gyro platter. They forgot the cole slaw with my platter. Besides that the sauce tasted like mayo. (nasty) Meat didn't even taste like gyro meat. Secondly ordered a munchie platter. Was suppose to have a choice of two sauces with I was never offered. They did bring me two sauces but I don't know what it was so I didn't eat it. The platter itself was just GROSS!! Fries weren't cooked all the way. Onion rings were chewy not crispy. Poppers and mushroom bites were soggy. I am a fried chicken lover & this is the first time I've ever had fried chicken that had absolutely terrible tasting coating. The fried chicken & jojos tasted like they were cooked in oil that has needed changed quite a long time ago. I was extremely disappointed to open up my container of onion rings & find that they were frozen minced onion rings... not fresh. I was sorely disappointed in my entire meal. I should add that I thought I was calling New York Style Pizza at 380 E Glenwood Ave Akron, OH 44310 (330) 253-1313 - the woman on the phone did explain to me that she used to work there & had left 3 years ago to open her own place (and that hers was better) & she is located inside Jaco's drive thru in Cuyahoga Falls. Since we're new to North Akron I thought I would go ahead & give it a try. Now I wish I had just kindly thanked her & taken my business to the authentic NYSP place which now has to go by Premium New York Style Pizza to differentiate themselves. read more
