We were talked into letting him do (thankfully) just the kitchen. Upon returning home after the treatment, our microwave was no longer functional. Luckily, this is all that was damaged, but it made me upset that exactly what we were afraid of had happened. Calling the office, we were asked for pictures and a video of the microwave not working, which I did. During the initial call, Wayne was very pleasant and understanding. I was told to wait a day and, if it was still not working, to call back so they could make a "determination." The next day, it was not working. So I called back. Wayne was not as pleasant this time, and insisted that the microwave was old and this was likely just a coincidence. I insisted they need to stop saying they've "never heard" of this happening, because it clearly has now. He said he'd "take that into consideration" but refused to be any more help. Not satisfied with their ability to control pests!!!They have been "checking" termite traps that…read morethey installed for years while we were away from our home. After moving back in, I discovered that a multiple number of traps were missing or broken. Sooooo how where they checking the traps if they were broken or missing? They still cashed the check for the service even though they couldn't notice that the traps were broken??? We were never notified nor were the traps fixed or repaired while we were away!!!! Currently they are supposed to be spraying the outside of our home to kill spiders and ants. I've had to call them back 3 times in the past 2 months due to running into spider webs at my front door and habants invading our home. Not impressed with their service or products. Company had employee out here to check termite traps. He said that many of them may possibly be hidden under mulch but had no idea where to locate them and did not attempt to locate them. I walked around the house with him to confirm that the ones that he could find were being checked. They are pushing new, more expensive spraying for termites vs old traps due to the increased price of the traps themselves. We are still having issues with spiders both inside and outside of the house along with the appearance of ants in the house again. I will contacting them ASAP to control these pests.

I have spoken with the national call center, the office in Salisbury, the sales person for the area, and area technicians. They all left me with a bad impression of the company. They need better training and they continuously remind customers of how long they have been in the business. That is just a number if it is not followed up with knowledge, expertise, and quality customer service. It is hard to get someone to answer calls at this location - let alone receive a call back. If you have an issue and request a manager - there is silence on the other end from ORKIN. You have a choice when it comes to your home and it shouldn't be ORKIN - not based off my experiences. They bait and switch the pricing (how is the price different within 24 hours). This is not behavior of a reputable company. Find somebody else to do it!
