I'm not sure what's going on with this dental place they start services then lie and tell patients on their next appointment that the insurance dropped them which isn't true they stopped because they want more money and dropped your insurance. Unfortunately, my care has ended at this facility as some of the previous reviews have mentioned with my needing to have to sue them in court. The staff in general are friendly but the office overbills you. Additionally the office rather than tell you the options of what work is essential to be completed, attempts to pressure you to have expensive procedures. I had posted how they took my money. Over 30k to have my teeth done and how I was to be put to sleep. I left this review before, but some how it got taken down. Mind you, I paid up front and thought everything was fine. Two weeks before my appointment, I was informed I was too obese to go under for the procedure. So, I decided not to have it done. I asked for my money back but they still charged me for the anesthesiologist, $750, a service I never got. I had to go to court to try and get my money back to no avail. I can't stand that place. No worries. My daughter had an appointment has not seen her doctor in over 6 months so I knew she had to fill out papers. My friend had a car emergency. I went there told them that I would return as soon as I can. My daughter is 17 and drove herself. I went to this office with high hopes. They claim to work with people with disabilities. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called ahead and spoke to a very kind woman who reassured me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sadly, the dentist was absolutely disappointing. He and the assistant that walked into the room were curt and dismissive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Khuong Nguyen spent at most 3 minutes in the room before he walked out saying we should reschedule and if that didn't work he would refer to UCLA. He even asked if there was a tooth missing because had never seen a gap so big (he's the only to make such a comment) all other professional dentist that have worked with my daughter have not. I have also not had other offices attempt to bill us after failing to examine her. But this office did. They billed for an exam, cleaning and fluoride. He wasn't able to come within two feet of her but he billed for the above things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I spoke to the insurance company and this office never answered back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plus they billed me $40 for a copay. "When I began my orthodontic treatment at this office, my initial orthodontist had a specific plan for which teeth would be removed before the scheduled extraction. However, on the day of the tooth removal, the orthodontist instructed the dental surgeon to remove completely different teeth, I also ask the dental surgeon if i needed bone graft he said i do not need. Additionally, the initial orthodontist estimated my braces treatment would last 36 months. Unfortunately, her care was subpar; she rarely examined my teeth's movement herself, often instructing the orthodontic assistant to handle the adjustments during my appointments. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Furthermore, the office frequently canceled appointments without prior notification. On numerous occasions, I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told that the orthodontist was not present.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was particularly upsetting, especially after confirming my appointments a few days in advance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The scheduling management was very poor, particularly with an employee named Sarai. Few times, she called to confirm my appointment, and when I arrived at their office to be told that the ortho is not there today, when I questioned her about this issue, she insisted it wasn't her calling me or their phone number and by that theres no way she called me confirming my appointment. When I redialed in front of her to prove it that it was her and its their number, and it was indeed their number, and I even had a recording of her confirming my appointment, she shifted her story, claiming she didn't understand the conversation. Her behavior was rude and showed a complete lack of accountability, and this wasn't an isolated incident. About one year or so into my treatment, without any prior notice, a new orthodontist took over. This orthodontist was also unhelpful and inattentive, spending barely a minute looking at my teeth before simply telling the assistant "okay" and leaving. After more than three years into my treatment, I inquired about the plan and expected completion date, as my teeth were still far from straight. The staff lady was became defensive and abruptly decided to conclude my treatment. The next appointment, they ordered a retainer and removed my braces, even though my teeth were not even close to being straight. The retainer itself was also crooked. A couple of months after my braces were removed, my front teeth started grinding against each other. When I raised this concern with the office, they repeatedly dismissed it, claiming it was normal and that everyone's bite is different. A few months later, a new, much nicer orthodontist joined the practice. He offered to correct the issues for free within three months. However, this didn't happen because my teeth were still not straight after that period. Now, the orthodontist has stated that I need another six months of treatment. They made me sign a document stating that they would only provide treatment for these six months, regardless of whether I was satisfied with the results. When I asked what would happen if my teeth weren't straight after six months, especially given their frequent appointment cancellations, the staff lady accused me of interrupting and arguing. I explained that I had paid for treatment to have my teeth straightened, and if they weren't straight, the office needed to continue the treatment until they were. She responded by saying why I was angry and being unpleasant. Today, when the scheduler showed me my chart to arrange my next appointment, I saw a note stating that I was upset because my appointment was canceled due to the orthodontist determining it wasn't the right time for an adjustment. This is completely untrue. The person who wrote that note is probably the same person I spoke with on the phone. I was upset because they canceled my appointment approximately one hour or so before it was scheduled, and I was already driving in Lancaster at that point, having confirmed the appointment two days prior. I live one hour away[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. So unprofessional and bad management, I wish I was never gone to this establishment. Sadly still have to continue until my teeth's are straight, hopefully. read more

I went in there for a cleaning yesterday and they were trying to say I had this wrong with me I had that wrong with me that no other dentist had even recommended the kind of work that they wanted to do. He said I'm sorry that they didn't tell you you had gum disease. So he is right and every other dentist I went to is wrong! Yeah that's the case. Anyway do not go to this dentist unless you want to spend a lot of money out of your pocket. I strongly stress this! Stay away from this dentist and beware. I just went to this dentist for the first time and 6 months ago my teeth were fine, all I had was a crown that I had to get on one tooth that had a decay and I might have another decay that this other dentist I went to 6 months ago said might need to be done in the future. And that's the way it should be. My other dentist the one I have been going to for quite a while is pretty honest for the most part. My wife wanted to try Premiere Dental, and I'm sorry that I let her talk me into it because I was very unhappy yesterday. Not to mention I was there for over 2 hours just for two cleanings but I told them I don't have time I didn't know I was going to be here this long and it took over 2 hours just for one cleaning, my wife's and x-rays for both of us. Do not waste your time going there unless you want to spend a lot of time here and money. My wife wants to stay there. I guess she doesn't have too much work to get done when she was talking to a different dentist. I will never go there again for myself. This office is NOT for anyone with a disability - especially children with autism. They will not be welcomed or treated with care by the dentist and some of the staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I first called the women I spoke to was really professional and we were excited to have found someone local to treat my daughter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are only accessible by wheelchair through their back entrance -it is not easy and there is lots of gravel. One of the techs (a young woman) was very kind and attempted an x-ray but the machine hit her wheelchair and almost my daughter, so we stopped. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the room the dentist's assistant got my daughters info wrong and didn't even make eye contact with us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dentist was cold. He was abrupt with his questions and spent no more than two minutes in the room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He attempted to approach my daughter (about a foot away) but when he saw she was upset he walked away and said okay we can schedule for three months from now and if not I'll refer to UCLA.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] -That was all. My regular dentist is in LA and I've been going to them for over 20 years. I've decided to make a change. I had a broken tooth my dentist said needs to be extracted by an oral surgeon. So, I checked my health insurance list of providers. I went to one office in Lancaster, which seemed to be assembly-line dentistry. Everybody in and out as quickly as possible. That's how mistakes are made. Did some more research and chose Premier Dental Care on The BLVD in Lancaster. First day was X-rays and an exam, then an appointment two days later for the extraction. Everything went perfectly. I got a follow-up call the next day. No problems to report. I was very impressed with the office, the front office staff, and the surgeon. What change did I make? I'm switching dentists. With this level of excellent care so close, why drive to LA? read more

I'm a little frustrated and just want to share my experience , there's not anything anyone can do but I think this situation is avoidable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called to sign up as a new patient and to schedule an appointment, I recently had a baby (2 months) and this was the first thing I decided I needed to take care of since dealing with PP depression/anxiety. It's hard for me to get out of the house because of this.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and gave the receptionist all my insurance info, she said the server for my insurance was down and they were closing soon, but that they will call me the day before if anything comes up with my insurance (that they verify before the appt.) makes sense to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not only do I provide it to the receptionist, but I also filled out the new patient packet online this same day, in which it asks for your insurance information (this is probably a week before my appt). I get myself and my baby ready and even bring along a family member because I wasn't sure how free I'd be to take care of my baby. I show up to my appointment and she asks for my ID and insurance, which I provide. I sit there for 30 minutes waiting to be called up which I don't mind waiting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I get called to the front desk for the girl to tell me my insurance isn't in network with them. When I ask why I wasn't called like I was informed, she says it's because we don't have your insurance until today.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I told her I did provide the insurance and was just given a blank stare and was forced to just walk away basically because I mean what can either of us really do? However, placing the blame on the patient instead of taking accountability is not right. If you tell a patient you're going to check something for their convenience, please do it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]These things might be tedious on your end, but it took me a lot to get out of my house and I had to get someone else to come along with me which cut into their schedule as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To be honest, I hate getting my teeth worked on and wanted to call and cancel, but felt bad cause it would've been last minute cancelation. So, far, the overall experience is good. My only complaint would be the lack of information on when they put braces in your mouth. They don't give you any pamphlets they don't go into detail about what to eat. What not to eat what to do. They only talk to me about flossing and give me a little kit so I think they need to do better when it comes to that. read more

Avoid this dental office at all cost unless you want to be charged an arm and a leg. Treatment plan is not fully disclosed as to how much you are responsible for. I had Ortho and regular dental care done here & every single time I came in I had to ask the patient treatment coordinator to go over my portion of cost for treatment because it seemed a little high of what I owed and EVERYTIME she would say "oh yes so it's actually less of what you owe" numbers didn't add up. Please double check what you are paying because they either do not know how to do proper math or just aren't paying attention and may be over charging you. This place is a rip off, they don't go over treatment plans with you. They attempted to charge me 800.00 for a upgraded crown that I did not grant permission for. Last year , I paid extra to purchase a all porcelain crown for my daughter and they gave her a half metal and porcelain crown that I caught after they put it on. This place is horrible worse than a used car dealership. I will be complaining to the American Board of Dentistry. Thank God, my sister works in the dental field and I sent her the receipt and she caught on right away. They refunded the money they charged me; however that doesn't fix the problem that they practice shady business.
