If you have an appointment after 6pm, you need to tell security to give you elevator access. I've been coming here for physio with Cole Keddie, he has been helping me with my injury. He is very knowledgeable and organized, providing me with follow-up instructions after my appointments etc. The receptionist is also very nice and helpful. I like that they offer appointments after 5pm, so I can go after work. The facility is very clean. They do direct billing to insurance. I highly recommend!

Each visit was a 20 minute session. 5-10 minutes of mild adjusting and the rest was just speaking with the physiotherapist about exercises I could do at home. I didn't find any relief until I sought treatment elsewhere. Then they submitted invoices to my insurance company for 1 hour sessions to get more money. Overall I did not have a good experience and they tried to significantly reduce funding that I actually need to use to get better. Really disappointed in that kind of dishonest behaviour.

As a powerlifter, one works through the aches and pains, but once in while you need to get it all relaxed for you so you can keep lifting all the things. I am THE WORST for scheduling a regular massage because it would be so regular I'd go broke. So I wait until urgent pains come up, like when my messed up left side go super messed up, to a point where it would hurt to move. My regular place didn't have any available appointments for the day I needed it or the day after, I thought I'd give Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre a call to see if they'd be able to fit me in. And they did. I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment and since it was my first time, I had to fill out intake forms, pretty standard. I was greeted by as staff at the reception desk, she was very friendly and I really appreciated that. They have a water cooler available at the waiting area, the waiting area is very clean. You look right into large space where they a lot of the physiotherapy happens. My therapist Sean came to get me at the time of my appointment, gave me a brief assessment of the more problematic areas and told me how the treatment will proceed. My massage with Sean was very good, he focused on the areas that was the cause of me going in, but he also reserved time to give attention to those spots that tend to get less attention, like the pecs that are often left last and sometimes even missed because time ran out. I've had one other treatment with Sean and his method is consistent. My treatment was about the same and I really enjoy that. Rested a few days and went back to the gym to get "dem gains". Their massage therapy services does cost a few dollars than average, but since I'm not good at planning ahead for this things, it's just the price I have to pay.

Let me just start out by saying that they are getting 3 stars on the merit of poor communication…read moreinvolved. What was supposed to be logically simple ended up being a complete nightmare. I was involved in a not at fault accident in January when a Lexus of Richmond Hill driver crashed into my car while he was turning left. Luckily, we were all okay but it left me with a whiplash injury that was diagnosed by my MD and physiotherapist/chiropractor at Apple Creek. At the beginning of my visits, I was ill informed about the fact that my claims would not be submitted by them and that it would be this huge lump sum that I'd have to pay at the end. In fact, I was never told this clearly at all. My treatment lasted from January to April 2017 and at the end of those treatments, nobody mentioned anything and I was under the assumption that they were going to take care of the paperwork for me. 4 months later, in August, I received an e-mail telling me I needed to settle up a $972 invoice. Naturally, I was shocked because this isn't chump change. When I initially communicated through e-mail, I was given unclear solutions and answers as to what I should do so I finally phoned both my EHC and Apple Creek. When I spoke to Apple Creek on the phone, they admitted to the fact that they were actually changing management/infrastructure and to make *their* lives easier, they were telling "certain clients to file their claims themselves". They then told me that I could just file it online and no matter how many times I told them that I was on an individual plan and I *didn't* have an online portal, they just wouldn't listen. I finally paid the $972.25 that I was "owing" to put an end to this huge long nightmare of dealing with this and ended up having a huge interest owing on my credit card because of that. Once that was said and done, everything else happened at a reasonable time including reimbursement by both them and my EHC. In terms of therapists there, I've had a chiropractor and two different massage therapists. Both massage therapists were good although Jeanette really was excellent. Livia was my chiropractor and she was also professional and friendly. Overall, on the basis of just clinical practice alone, I can see why they get good reviews but this whole insurance thing has just been a series of poor communications that made my life very difficult; and this is the sole reason why I am so upset about this situation. Had I been informed about this from the VERY beginning of my treatments, it would given me a clearer idea of whether or not I was going to go forth with treatments in this practice because at the end of the day, I'm very focused on efficiency and ease of services for the client. So finally, 10 months after my accident, this has all been resolved but unfortunately, I will not be returning here for my needs and will seek care elsewhere should the need arise again.

As incontinence is a side effect of this surgery Triangle had assigned me to Rasika Shah who specializes in pelvic floor recovery. All I can say was that Rasika was AMAZING! Going in I had expected some level of recovery by the time 9 weeks of physio sessions were complete - anticipating as the surgeon had told me recovery could be upwards of a year. Through the pelvic floor regimen Rasika had provided me, adherence to the daily exercise program she had provided and her pushing me to mentally challenge myself with the incontinence, after only two months no longer wearing protective undergarments during the day or at night - even for sports. I would highly recommend Triangle and Rasika if you need assistance with pelvic health. Thank you Rasika.

Several months ago, I started having pain and reduced range of motion with my right arm, my dominate arm. I quickly reached out to a shoulder specialist that I had used before with my left arm. This time, after months of therapy and continued reduction in range of motion, my doctor finally said, there's nothing else I can do. You just need to continue the exercises and eventually it should get better. At that point I started researching, hoping to find a solution. I found that it is not uncommon for it to take 2-3 years to achieve pain relief and at that point it is not uncommon to have permanent loss of some range of motion. I also found information on the Oolo-Austin Trigenics (OAT) Procedure. Being a little cautious, I searched the web for everything I could find on OAT and Trigenics. One of the first reviews I found was not good at all. But it was the only negative review I could find. All of the others gave outstanding reviews, ratings, and testimonials. So, I went back to the negative review to better understand. It sounded like the individual refused to follow the pre and post procedure requirements. With that in mind, it seemed to me, that Trigenics was being blamed for the patient's own decisions and failure. I decided to discount this review and contact the Frozen Shoulder Clinic for more information. Fiaz contacted me and reviewed the entire process making sure that I understood the need to follow the correct diet, breathing technique training, and pain management protocols. He said that even with proper preparation to be prepared for 2-3 minutes of intense to severe pain during the procedure. The day of the procedure went exactly as planned. Parts of the procedure were uncomfortable but not really painful. I am sure the pre procedure medication, relaxation techniques, and breathing process helped significantly. There was a minute or two that was very painful but bearable with proper breathing. Afterwards it was all worth it. I was immediately able to fully extend both arms fully above my head and the pain was gone. I am still working on the hand-behind-the-back motion but making progress using the post procedure exercise plan. I did take advantage of the help of one of their overnight therapist to ensure I was following the process correctly and would encourage others to do so also. So, would I do it again? Absolutely! Would I recommend this procedure to others with Frozen Shoulder? Definitely! I just wish I had done it sooner. During the pandemic, the Clinic asks clients to use hand sanitizer upon entering, keep their masks on during their visit, which includes treatment, temperature checks and staggered appointments. THIS review is about my Physio treatment with Melissa. I wanted to see Melissa because of her dry needling skills. Melissa completed an assessment of my body, performed treatment and offered me home exercises. Melissa was professional, courteous and efficient. I really enjoyed the compassion and thought in her treatment. I wish I could have expressed that to her, but I was so "blissed out" after the treatment that I didn't. For those of you whom are sensitive or gentle, Melissa regularly checked in with me to ensure I was comfortable. After my treatment, Melissa emailed me a link to an app with specific set of exercises tailor to my needs. I was really impressed with that, and Melissa and the Clinic. I will definitely be returning.

Given the fact that a disturbing segment of the "wellness" community has embraced Covid and anti-vax conspiracy theories, this is VERY troubling -- especially since most people who refuse to share their vaccine status are almost certainly unvaccinated. It beggars belief that a wellness clinic refuses to impose a vaccine mandate -- thereby putting its clients, it's employees, and the wider community at risk of a deadly plague. Are they prioritizing profits over community safety? It sure seems like it. :-(
