I started having pain and stiffness in my left shoulder in summer of 2017 which gradually got worse…read moreto the point that I couldn't move my shoulder/hand, unbearable pain even while taking strong painkillers, I was sleep deprived and emotionally drained. I had to wait few months for MRI appointment and see a specialist. I decided to try physiotherapy while waiting for my appointments. In my first appointment, Ali listened to me carefully, examined my shoulder, neck and limited movement. He diagnosed it's frozen shoulder, explained what are the stages of frozen shoulder, took the time to show me what muscles/tendons are causing the pain, what should or shouldn't I do and planed a treatment routine using manual stretches (very painful!!), Laser, ultrasound, Acupuncture twice a week. After few weeks, my range of motions increased and had less pain. He even thought me how to put a pillow under my shoulder and arm at night so there is less pressure on my shoulder so I can get some sleep. He is very professional, knowledgeable, informative and cares about his patients. I still book appointment to see Ali every couple months for maintenance and relieve the tension buildup in my neck & shoulder due to my type of work. I referred few friends to Premier Care Physiotherapy and they are liked him and thanked me for recommending Ali and his team.

Every time I visit the clinic, my head, shoulders, back, legs and knees feel a million times better; and I leave the Clinic feeling great! Based on my experience as a patient and a healthcare worker, it is the Best Physiotherapy clinic in Richmond Hill - extremely clean and up to date facility, conveniently located which provides excellent services and care; more importantly, it has Professional, friendly and very helpful staff. I will certainly return for any other physio problems - because I found Ali and Mary very knowledgeable, extremely supportive and assertively empowering - they truly demonstrated concerns about my well being. Thank You indeed! Michael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GLA:D program is for those whom are suffering from Osteoarthritis of hip and knee. I truly recommend the GLA:D program - the results from the Program and Physiotherapy that I have received are undeniable. After completing the 12 sessions my knees felt much better, the pain level decreased and mobility improved. During the 12 sessions of the GLA:D program, I have witnessed that it successfully supports people with hip and knee Osteoarthritis to manage their symptoms, improve their function and quality of life, and increase their physical activity. And that is the reason that I returned for another 12 additional sessions. It is important to mention that Mary, the program therapist, is very professional, knowledgeable, extremely supportive, encouraging and empowering. I highly recommend the GLA:D program and the clinic not only for the superb treatment, awesome environment, welcoming and super friendly receptionists, but for holistic and humanistic approach of the GLA:D program therapist - Mary! Thank You May! Michael

Lost in my efforts to select a foot clinic amongst a sea of uninspiring websites, EC Orthotics was a beacon of hope: clean, organized pages; detailed and useful information on services and products offered; and a simple form to request reservations online - I was hooked. These days, a good website is just as important (if not more) than a good storefront. Further, while many other orthotics providers are bundled into larger clinics with chiropractors, physios and masseurs, I was pleased to find a downtown clinic specializing in podiatry alone. Eddie Chan is a young, licensed chiropodist, and is well-versed not only in all-things-feet, but also employee benefits. While this surprised me at first, I appreciate that he realizes the import of employee benefits to his business, and it rounds out his knowledge of podiatry nicely. As the clinic is a bit small, I recommend making an appointment; doing so assures you won't be cramped for space or time. Upon my first assessment, I was impressed when Eddie identified the manufacturer of my previous orthotics by appearance alone. When I asked how he knew, his response was, "poor craftsmanship," as he pointed out the flaws. Point: Eddie. No foam casting boxes here, Mr. Chan utilizes a 3D laser foot scanner to map your paws, which supports his goal of getting your foot into as neutral a position as possible. My previous orthotics provider subscribed to the theory of "bigger is better", so Eddie's more natural approach is a welcome change. After about a week my orthotics were ready for pick-up, and they are indeed top-drawer. Finally, they will help you choose the right style of orthotics to fit your shoe needs; my spousal unit wears a lot of ballet-flats, and this was taken into account. I'm docking half a star because I think EC's selection of prescribed footwear could be improved. While other clinics may offer Birks or Ecco, the catalogue here is limited and should be expanded. Happily though, I was given the opportunity to go full bore on a catalogue of Asics runners; no doubt my squash game will improve (slightly. I hope.) So run, don't walk...well, unless you have foot problems...to EC Orthotics!

Mary is very difficult to deal with. She has no concept of customer service and problem solving. If you get shoes/soles here and ask for the same estimate a year later to get pre-approval from your new insurance, she will not send it to you or let you talk to the Chiropodist, Eddie. After 3 weeks of follow-ups, she will still say pay for an appointment and see the Chiropodist in-person to get the same estimate you got before. No consideration your time or mobility constraints , just wants the money for the appointment at every opportunity.
