This was an experience of a lifetime. My family zip lined over Lions, Tigers and Bears. We were on the tour during feeding time and got to see and hear the animals feed. Our guides were fantastic. I am sorry to say I lost the paper I had with there names on it. They keep us safe and educated us on the animals and the park. I Wish I could give you their names because they are kind and patient. I had such an awesome time! It was my first time riding on a zip line, but since i am fearless, i jumped right in. As you go along the line you are sailing over the zoo itself, so you get a birds eye view of all the animals. There are lions, bears, wolves, tigers, and more. The two guides that were with us Dejuano and Taylor were just awesome. They constantly checked in with all of us to make sure we were all right and safe. There were ten of us in the group. I did not actually go through the zip line course. This is a review on the service. I called at 1pm last Saturday to book a last minute reservation for the last slot at 3pm. The guy was pleasant and easily took payment. He called me hon which makes me feel uncomfortable, it feels like saccharine familiarity from a man or woman I've just met. I am confident he had no malintent tho. I hung up and about half an hour later I called back to cancel. I was told that there was a 20$ fee for cancelling less than 24 hours from the start of the appointment. I was annoyed because I thought that was silly since I had just made the appointment. I do not think rules for rules sake makes sense however this part they upheld and refunded me $177, which hit my card about a week later. With the 10% off yelp discount I was charged 197$ total which it seems like the discount just eliminated the taxes because the price for two is originally 197$. Another guy called me to give an update on the refund and he also called me hon. He advised that it would take a bit to show up and I appreciated the transparency. Lesson: Be 100% sure that you're going to follow through on your appointment. read more

I've done a lot of "extreme" things i.e. sky diving, 400' bungee, and today I was tackled by a tiger so while i thought the zip line would be fun I didn't expect to get the rush that I experienced when I stepped off of the deck over a leopard who was clearly hoping the cable would snap! The views were Amazing, the guides knew what they were doing, and I even got to smoke some of my friend on the last leg as there are 3 parallel lines running over a huge lion named Josiah who was roaring as we sped past! Went here to check off a box on my bucket list. My girlfriend and I decided we'd try this out. There's a total of 5 towers you get to zip line on. Our 2 tour guides and zip line professionals, were very knowledgeable on the zoo that that you zip line over. What a great place. They take in exotic rescue animals, that have been seized for various reasons. When you visit the park it's not only for a good time the proceeds are helping these beautiful animals. They have a few rare breeds out here. My tour guide "BrownSugar" was awesome! All the tour guides were... they made you feel very comfortable about what you were going to experience. It made a zip line fantastic out of me. Now I'm wanting to go bigger and higher!! The experience was well worth the time and $$ for a first time experience. You get to zip line over these rare incredible animals. At one point you're almost at a 1000 ft. Had a great day out here. You can't go wrong, it's wonderful experience and the tour guides make sure everyone is having a great time. Even if you feel like you might not be able to handle this because you're out of shape, like you can't climb an endless amount of stairs. The steps and the transition is easy. So don't feel like you can't do this. They also made sure you had plenty of water to drink at each tower before you made the climb up. The climb is really deceiving and super easy... so go for it!! You won't be disappointed. My girlfriend had a fear of height and by the time she got through all of this, she had no fear after she was done. Now she wants to go higher and faster too! My boyfriend and I decided since we both loved the idea of ziplined over the predators, we had to do this zipline. After spending our morning on the ground looking at the lion's, tigers, and bears (and zebras, and giraffes, etc) we had booked the 15:00 full course zip. Despite the park and the zipline being separate entities, the woman who checked us into the park (curly haired woman) had coordinated our schedules for both so we knew where to be, which was hugely appreciated! My boyfriend and I have varying levels of experience, he's a climber and well, I've just done a couple zips. But either way, we were excited to try this! Our guides were Nando and Jasper and they were absolutely great! We also had a few new hire guides training on our zip, which I thought was totally cool, because as a nursing student, I know the only way to learn it to DO! Safe to say, we had an absolute BLAST! It was a fun experience, not only for the park, but having Jasper and Nando talk about what was going on with the animals below was really great! My boyfriend had a good time talking about climbing and zipping with the guys, I enjoyed watching the animals and chatting with everyone. Our guides were absolutely top notch and I'm so glad they're training the new hires to help guests have an awesome experience. read more

This was the most awesome experience I could have hoped for! We initially took my dad for a birthday present, he is 72 and had the time of his life! Views were gorgeous, and the guides Jazzy and Alex were top notch. They were friendly, informative about the different animals and the park. The only downside was the cost of pictures that they provide to you at the end of the tour. They print out a 4x6 and ask for $15 for it! They do not give you the negative, only the picture itself. You can also buy all of the pictures downloaded on a disc for $50, which was just ridiculous. I feel if the lower the price they would sell a lot more photos, because none of the 7 people in our group bought any and that was a waste of paper that were already printed and now going to waste. Since you are not allowed to bring your phone or camera, they have you against the rails with buying their photos, which I think is a pretty shoddy move. It's not like the experience was cheap or anything! read more

This was an awesome experience, we had so much fun. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we had to wait for people that were late. We waited at the office for 15 minutes. We finally geared up and went to the first tower, where we had to wait another 15 minutes. When they showed up, we had to wait longer so the instructors could go over the safety rules again. We got there 15 minutes early, like we were told. So all that waiting was over 45 minutes, which was not cool. Also, the Groupon, website and on the phone, they specifically said closed toe shoes, yet 2 from the late party wore flip flops. I mean if they have rules, they should enforce them. John was hilarious and super into it since he primarily takes photos for the park and Marteen was on his second week but you couldnt tell - he drove the big van like a boss. Had a great time flying over the Out of Africa park. You get a discount every time you go back too and they take professional photos and point out the animals for you. Automatic brake system and quite a bit of stairs. Nice and shaded on the towers and they give water at the beginning. They are not a part of the main park but you get a discounted ticket. Our guides were Phil and Jasper, Botha pros were amazing, very patient, gentle and explained every thing along each zip line. They both made the ride safe and funny both jokesters! It was my first time and despite the 95/98 degree weather, it was fun! Beware first tower is high and there are like 10 flights of wooden stairs/steps to climb in the heat is tiresome but take your time you'll get there slowly! I highly recommend Predator zip line for your next adventure! I've zip lined through water, forests and Fremont, but not a zoo. We were looking forward to doing multiple lines so we were ready for a good time! Although located inside the Out of Africa Park, these two companies are separately owned and managed. You have the option to do all 5 lines or just the last one. Our guides were super cool and funny they deserve all 5 stars from this review. We went in September, but it was over 100 degrees. If you decide to go zippin' through these lines, maybe fall would be a better time to go. The animals were escaping the heat so they were hiding except for a lion and a few wolves. The toughest part was climbing seven flights of stairs to the top of the first tower (okay, well... I'm in my mid-50s and haven't been working out)! Can't bring anything with you including your phone or camera, but they have a photographer at the last stop. The photos are loaded into computers at the office/waiting area and you can buy one or all your photos at a discounted price. If you choose to buy all photos, they save it on a disc that is yours to keep. read more

The Perfect 'Engagement!' (double entendre) My Fiancée and I can't begin to thank Predator Zip Lines for going out of their way to create the most memorable experience in our lives!
