All those things happened but they are not the fault of Dr. Perryman. I firmly believe the experience I had was due to staff issues and not him. I have never had a doctor reach out to me like that. I had been under the mistaken opinion that HE wouldn't allow me to cancel my order because the receptionist put me on hold for a long time and I thought she might be consulting him. That's why you shouldn't assume. Dr. Perryman is an excellent eye doctor. I was impressed by his people skills and the way he made sure I got the contacts that were right for me. I apologize to Dr. Perryman for my first review. He promised me he would work with his staff (I can't help but wonder if they get a % of money sold on contacts) to correct their practices. I have no doubt that he will. If I could delete the other review, I would.

I've found that most doctors lately rush through appointments and base their treatments on what is covered by insurance. Dr. Perryman took the time to explain my unique situation in terms I understood. He also is very kind and seemed interested in getting to know me personally. The experience reminded me of the small town doctors of the past. The office staff is super friendly and the space is comfortable. They even have free drinks and snacks which is nice. On top of that, he didn't try to hard sell me on purchasing glasses at the office but did explain that what they offer is high quality. I'm grateful to have this practice in town.

He is an artist! He picks out my frames every time, without fail, even though I might try on a bunch. He finds the perfect ones. He gets new styles in weekly, his collection is amazing. Carol at L'Optique understood immediately what I was looking for in terms of style, something interesting but not over-the-top. She picked out a great pair of work frames that complemented my face and also picked out very resilient out-and-about frames with little side magnets to hold snap-on sunshades. Carol is an expert at configuring frames and lenses. The work frames have a reading/close-up region toward the bottom and a computer-distance region toward the top. The walking around frames have a reading/close-up region toward the bottom for reading menus and such, and the remaining portions are for distance and driving, etc. The clip-on shades are very easy to use. It's up to me not to lose them ;). The frames took a bit of time and were not inexpensive, but considering that I wear them everyday and need something well-made that would stand up to some abuse, I figure it was well worth it. Carol is great to work with and very attentive. The lenses weren't quite strong enough in the first frames (my eye doctor's prescription was a bit too weak), and she was able to get a second, stronger set without any trouble or additional cost. I'd say L'Optique is a high-end store but even so, it offers a wide price range to probably suit most budgets.

After several days and reminder calls despite the receptionist promising me that he would email it to me the next day after 4 days of this I drove down and waited for him to print it out and hand it to me. The receptionist didn't seem to be very knowledgeable with his software which was clearly making his job more difficult..... The customer service here is pathetic...
