Absolutely would not recommend this business. My car broke down while driving down the road, so I quickly took it here. While the guy working the desk was very nice, they were trying to upsell me on stuff I didn't need and was trying to charge me $900+ on something that my car didn't even need. I ended up getting it towed to my regular mechanic and $180 later my car was fixed. My regular mechanic literally laughed when I told him this place was trying to charge me that for a hose, which my car didn't even need. It needed a new fitting. That was it. Let me preface this by saying, I am an extremely hard person to ease when it comes to certain things and auto services are one. My dad, who previous was driving and maintaining the vehicle was taken advantage of by another shop that told him they flushed the radiator, that was a flat out lie! I took possession of my vehicle back when he moved out of state and everything was fine until last week when then thermostat started going from C to H in 10 minutes. I came in for a diagnostic and spoke with Brian. After the diagnostic, he told me it would be about $1200 which no one wants to hear. Brian was very honest and basically said it was unsafe to drive, which I appreciated. He also gave me some insight on some repairs my dad had done on the car by another company that basically ripped him off. I again appreciate that because we all work hard for our money and hate to part with it but hate it even more when we have to part with it being ripped off. This will be my new go to shop to get my vehicle taken care of. I highly recommend them. We all know that auto shops have a bad rep because they have a history of ripping people off so when you find a reputable and honest one you stay with it! Bring your car here and you may have to part with some of your coins but you will also know that the repair is guaranteed for more than 30 days (ugh) and that they will give it to you straight. They are actually concerned about fixing your car and not draining your bank account. They will always have my business, and I suggest you give them yours! read more

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! These "professional" guys are complete trash! From the two Store Managers down to the Shop Mechanics! They are dishonest and simply out to rob you of your money! They are misogynistic and racist so NON-WHITE ladies...please beware of the fake kindness! I took my vehicle in to be diagnosed, took the Store Manager's word about the prognosis, prepaid for the parts...once the parts came in, the Store Manager and a Shop Mechanic installed (claims they were pressed for time and wanted to get off work sooner than later)...but caused problems in my vehicle with however they installed (clearly incorrectly). The kicker... The Store Manager tried to lie and say he and the Mechanic didn't cause it (yet it was working fine before they did the work, so who else could've caused it? An invisible bird in the sky perhaps?) Then turned around and said I caused it by pulling away from the store and driving right back just to point out the problem (WTF?!)...then agreed to give me a refund (after I requested) but quickly backtracked (after making a secret phone call between him and the other Store Manager)...and finally concluding that the viable solution would be that I should pay additional money for extra parts and correction. REALLY?!?! NO SIR!!!! In conclusion, I received a half-assed apology...for a half-assed diagnostic...which produced half-assed work from half-assed hands...all initiated by a totally sorry-assed Store Manager...so sorry and half-assed that I won't bother mentioning his name. My wife had issues with her vehicle. She took the vehicle in and had a mechanic check it out. We also visited a second mechanic in Austin so we can verify what the issue was. It turns out, Precision Auto was trying to charge her close to $1,000 for an issue that was non-existent and that was on top of lying about 2 other issues that never existed. We actually had the car taken care of for $150 by a different mechanic here in Austin. You people are filth and you people are liars. read more

I came in about midday to get an oil change for my van. I was told by the manager that they were busy and that if I came back at 3pm I could get in. He wrote my name down on their schedule book along with what services I would be getting and my vehicle. I come back at 3pm and someone had just walked up before me to also get an oil change, so I sit down while they are talking. I notice that the waiting room was nice with chargers for your phone and they have free coffee that was fully stocked, so that was appealing for sure! Brownie points. When it's my turn, he recognizes me, but doesn't remember what I am getting, and I reminded him that I had a 3pm appointment and that he had written down everything. But the guy that came in at the same as me, although I had an appointment, got services to his car done before me. That's why I docked a star off. It does not matter if you have me come back a couple hours later, I still came in before anyone who came in at the same time of my second visit. I should be handled first because 1.) I'm giving you all a second chance when I could have just gone to someone who would have taken me in as a walk in and 2.) I was written down and you all were expecting me. So, that was off-putting. But I walked to Sonic right across the street and got a happy-hour slushie. I came back and about 25 minutes later my vehicle was done. The mechanic was amazing! Very friendly the entire time I was sitting outside. He let me know when he was almost done and was very friendly explaining what he recommended I do my next visit. Ended up as a complete waste of my time. Went out of my way to adjust my schedule around them 3 times in order to get just a simple state inspection. First time I went in, they told me to come back in 2 hours. Came back in 2 hours and was told I had to come back the next day. They even made me an appointment, assuring me the inspection would get done no matter what (was in a time crunch after just moving to the area). Went back first thing the next morning for my appointment and was told there was no inspector on staff for the day. The lady at the desk acted like it wasn't their fault at all, with little to no apology. Went to Kwik Lube down the road and was taken care of immediately. I should have never even considered Precision after being turned away the 2nd time. read more

The service there is great and you can tell that they enjoy their jobs and customer satisfaction is a priority. I went there on a day that there was only one mechanic, Chris - and he was busy. Nicole at the front was really great. Friendly, knowledgeable, even though she runs the front. Chris was the mechanic that worked on my car. The short version is that they took a look at the issue I came back with at no charge and took the time to talk to me and hear me out and fix the issue the best that they could, while being completely friendly about it. Brought it in for a regular oil change and wheel alignment. It was my mistake in the beginning to not point out that you had to take out the hood pins from the hood before opening the hood. Not all know that apparently. He had a hard time getting one of them out and the other ring broke. I noticed a scratch that I swear wasn't there before, but I left before actually looking at the car, another mistake of mine. I didn't make it a big deal either because I believed him when we spoke after bringing it back. The issue that I had was that the car wasn't aligned. Bringing it in, it was pulling to the right. Leaving the shop, it started to pull to the left. They told me they did the correct alignment based on the make and model of the car. That's all fine and great, and it wasn't like I didn't believe them. But I told them it needed to be looked at again because it's much more noticeable to me that when the wheel is straight, the car is merging to the left. He took the car back and looked at it again, ran the machine once more, and test drove it. Coming back in, Nicole grabbed me and Chris explained why it seemed off. With staggered wheels, you can't rotate the tires like normal. So he rotated the two front and offered a method to keep the wheel straight along with the car (though it would then wear down the tires unnaturally, so I declined). I ended up leaving in the same condition as when Chris first serviced it. But at the end of the day, through talking with him one on one and offering me that time and second and third look, I left understanding what was done versus having to take it somewhere else. The prices were about right and average, if not a little cheaper. I chose this place based on the location being closer to where I lived and the fact that I didn't want to wait six hours for my car to come back. The only negative thing I'd say is how long it took the car to be looked at. The appointment was at 2 and my car wasn't pulled in until around 2:40. However, they have one alignment machine, and it was already in use when I came in, so it's completely understandable. They have a television with live TV, coffee machine, restroom, and magazines. It's a small waiting area, but it works. This experience was good compared to the others I had in this city, so I am willing to give them another chance, however I'm not sold on places from one visit. But for a confident quick service or question, I would state that this is the place to go. read more

I came in on November 23 for a simple oil change for my Veloster. I give the mechanic Ryan my keys to do the job and I walk next door to the local pawn shop to waste time while my car is being worked on. To my surprise, I return 15 minutes later to Ryan asking me "Hey is there a trick to getting this thing open?". I reply no as I open the car door to reach for inside lever to pop the hood. I notice the lever is loose (all of a sudden) and as I proceed to walk to the hood to open it, it doesn't open. I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM OPENING THE HOOD OF MY CAR. In fact, I just opened it last week to put a new battery in the car. So I don't know what type of yanking and pulling this gentleman was doing on my car but suddenly my hood won't open. He finally uses some tools to open the hood and proceeds with the oil change. When I ask for his manager's information in order to figure out who will be fixing/paying for the 'mysterious' damaged parts on my car he nervously fumbled around the desk before denying me he and his mangers full name. The gentleman didn't even have an envelope to put my paperwork in! How tacky and unprofessional can you be??? I made a appointment for a complete tune up. I took my vehicle in and sat a hour and a half as watched the mechanic talk on his phone and to the other mechanics while I waited for a hour. Then I was charged $197.00 and all that I received was a 4 spark plug change( that's it and that's all). The lead supervisor informed me that the SPARK PLUG CHANGE IS ALL THAT A TUNE UP ENTAILED AT THAT FACILITY I WOULD BE CHARGED MORE FOR ANYTHING EXTRA.NO FLUIDS WERE CHANGED NO OIL CHANGE NO AIR FILTER. Please research and ask lots of questions in regards to what you expect to receive before using this location on Clear Creek in Killeen Texas. We are a military family and are ashamed at diluted service. The price was inflated for mediocre work. The mechanic was unprofessional. TheHead Supervisor Dustin states that 197.00 is an accurate quote to have 4 spark plugs changed with no other work read more

If I could rate this location and staff less than 1 star I would. The employees are rude and lack customer service skills. More importantly, these "professionals" don't know what they're doing on the vehicle. I went in for an alignment and less than 2,000 miles later I have extreme shredding on one front tire & the tread is totally bare on more than half of my other front tire. OBVIOUSLY this is due to improper wear on the front tires due to an improper alignment. Not to mention, they dangerously over inflated all four tires( 7-10 psi over in every tire)!!! When I called to see where to go from here, I was passed around from employee to employee until they finally gave me the "manager" I had asked for initially. Bryan was incredibly rude, talked over me consistently, and repeatedly told me I didn't know what I was talking about. On top of that, he refused to give the franchisee/owner contact email, office, or phone number. Precision Tune Auto Care's poorly trained "supervisor" apparently speaks for the whole company, HE HADN'T EVEN LOOKED AT MY VEHICLE!!! Not to do the alignment or look at the damage the improper alignment caused after. Ultimately, speaking to the clearly untrained staff was just a waste of time. Due to the staff being no help, I also found out this business is not listed with the better business bureau. A matter that could have been easily resolved will now be going to court.
