Absolute nightmare to order from. I ordered a Juki 9000c-FMS. Site offered a 10% discount. I did not receive a shipping update in a week and half so I emailed them a few times asking on the status. Still no reply. I call in after a few weeks and am told the manger is busy with a customer but will call be back when done. Few hours no return call. Called in again, manager would call me back later. Finally got a call back. Informed me the discount was only domestic and not commercial machines. That's fine. I asked him to send me an invoice to pay the 10% difference. Called me back to say the machine would have to ship from NY as the didn't have any in stock. Then canceled my order and told me I had to reorder it again. Since canceling my order they increased the price on the machine so now I would have to pay even more for the machine than what the original price was. Dishonest and absolutely horrible to work with. Order from someone that is reputable, not here. read more

Quoted one price then get charged two times what I was quoted. He claims it needed alot of work. Absolutly no documentation on what was discovered while cleaning or what he repaired. Very disappointed I didn't read his reviews first. Shame on me. Go somewhere else. read more

I bought an industrial machine he gave me a good deal. I left went home to use the industrial for the first time and out of operator era, (me)I kept messing it up. He went out of his way to get me sewing again. Say what you want about his personality he knows his sewing machines and he's always nice to me. Sometimes people are rude. Deceptive business practices and fast-talking fraud is what you will get when you associate with this company. They profess to be an Authorized Juki Dealer and have Certified Juki Technicians, but that is a lie. They are not recognized by Juki, are not on the website as a dealer, and they have no problem jeopardizing a warranty by pretending to be certified technicians. Run - do not walk - away from this place. Find a reputable company who is acknowledged by the company they claim to represent and have technicians currently certified to work on that company's machines. This is not one of them. My claims are easily verified by Juki's website, in case there is backlash to this post from the company. read more

I had a problem with my sewing machine ( the bobbin). I called a couple closer places, who didn't answer. Precision answered immediately and a real person gave me hours and directions. I showed up with my sewing machine. The woman there fixed the bobbin in 5 minutes and then didn't charge me These people are professional, knowledgeable and very nice. Highly recommended. read more

So I was in need of a few things. Commercial type machine and a few commercial specialty machine parts also in the market for doing some upgrades to my equipment. My colleague turns me on to these guys since sewing places are scarce in Louisiana. I had a Texas trip planned specifically to get what I wanted. I call and the guy/owner tells me he's got a machine but only one left and it will be a million years before they get another- so I'd have to make a deposit over the phone. I laugh and think this guy is using sales tactics from the 1970's. I decline with a chuckle, told him I'll risk it, I'd like to come in first - (if you buy this type and this much equipment you're going to enter a relationship with this dealer). Saturday rolls around, we had been at a livestock auction (you dress appropriately and don't take your nice car), getting this and that's and had taken our little commuter car (relevant later). I decide I want to swing by Precision since it's in the area. When you walk in there are new embroidery machines littering the entrance, a few really nice blue hairs working on duckies and quilting techniques. They asked if they could help. I asked to see the owner/manager (let's call him Ron Burgundy). And my husband comes in- he needed the bathroom. I'm telling Mr. Burgundy what I want. HE's telling me what I want (what he's selling of course). I am still kinda laughing at this situation, it's kind of a soft tug-o-war between us. He finally TELLS me I can't afford what I want- yes it really happened, LMAO. He's explaining rudimentary things to me-I'm not his usual demographic. Finally my husband aloof staring confounded at the stock says, "don't worry about what she can afford, either you can sell it or not." Ron Burgundy gets flustered and says he's offended (I should be the offended one, but I'm not- it's comical). He goes on to point out the window to our commuter vehicle (covered in mud) and says "is that your car?" He was judging the book by the cover. He goes on to tell me that he is the only Consew dealer here in LA (remember I had already planned a Texas trip). So my take- Ron is an anachronism with the antiquated sales practices that work well for the under educated consumers or holdovers from the used car salesmen era. He does not know the nuts and bolts of the machines (from the fluff answers he was giving me) and relies on a tech and the gaggle of nice ladies at the front. I don't think I'd be getting much support after the sale. 4 ladies I talked to said, Mr. Burgundy was so nice telling them their machines couldn't be fixed and gave them a really good deal on trade-ins. Later I told my colleague who turned me on to him "thanks" and he shook his head and said, "Ol Slick, I told my wife she got took, Ol Slick doesn't do well with husbands". I also told my neighbor of my experience and she said, "oh he's so nice, he said my machine couldn't be fixed and traded this one for it." She's 72. So Texas trip went great got most of the machines I needed for under $35k and if they need service I'll take to All American in Baton Rouge. read more

I bought my Janome sewing machine over a year ago from them and immediately messed up the mechanisms. (I'm a beginner) my friend told me it would be over $100 to get it fixed so I put it off and put it off. I finally brought it in and he fixed it for me for FREE. Fantastic!!!! After my sewing machine broke down in the middle of an important project (isn't that when they always break?) I was nearly in tears. I really didn't think I could afford to purchase a new machine at the moment, and they didn't make my old model anymore, so I didn't even know what machine I'd want to buy anyway. After much searching, I happened upon Precision Sewing, not too far from where I lived. I figured I'd go look at the machines and get an idea of how much they cost these days. Imagine my delight when, upon entering the store, I spied a fully equipped repair shop! I made a beeline for it and began to explain my dilemma to the technician. He then assured me that if it was fixable, he could fix it, and to bring it by the following day. I did as promised and dropped it off on May 9th. On my way out, I decided to look at the embroidery machines. It was hard not to, as they were demonstrating them in the front window. Hey, a girl can dream, can't she? I'd been wanting to add embroidery to my craft projects and they had so many different ones, I didn't know where to start. A very sweet sales associate patiently explained the differences and helped me decide which would work best for what I had in mind. There were even sewing/embroidery machine combos, which would eliminate the need for 2 separate machines. The one I liked the most was a little out of my budget at the moment, but I quickly found out that they offered financing! Not only that, but the owner himself came out on the floor and said that instead of repairing my machine, I could just trade it in toward the purchase of the new machine! So I wound up walking out of there with my new sewing/embroidery machine and an appointment with the instructor (yes, they also offer classes) for FREE lessons on my new machine. I will definitely be shopping here often and recommend it to all of my crafty friends. A+! read more

GOOD SAVE Precision advertised an item inaccurately on Amazon, solely because Brother (the manufacturer) labeled it inaccurately. When I contacted Precision, they were highly reasonable and apologetic, and went beyond the call by shipping out the correct product at no charge to me. My wife decided she wanted an embroidery machine. We went in on Tuesday 1/15/13. We walked in, looked at everything in the store, and not the 1st person got up to help us. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. OWNER IS A THIEF. I dropped off my Bernina two weeks ago for service. I called twice to check on it and the owner has refused to tell me what is wrong and missed two deadlines he gave to diagnose the problem. At this point he doesn't answer the phone and I'm considering calling Jefferson Parish to report it as a theft. Horrible customer service! Went in with my two children- in their stroller. Took forever to be helped, then the owner tried to sell me the most expensive machine they had. Felt like I was at a car dealership being hassled into a lemon. While browsing, the owner yelled at me...my baby had dropped a cheerio on the floor. Did not want to honor the price of the machine the website was quoting, after payment had already been transferred! Then said that was an old price for a new machine and I could only get a refurbished machine at that price. Then after finding the same machine at a lower price on another website and requesting my money back, they decided to honor the price on a brand new machine-in the box, drop shipped from Canada. When the machine arrived, it was clear that it wa a USED machine! It had dirt, smudges and scratches and stunk like grease! I emailed the Company and let them know I had received what appeased to be a refurbished machine along with pictures! So far there as been no response from them!!! I WILL NOT make this mistake again! I wish I had stuck to my guns an gotten a refund so I could order the machine from the other Company! :( read more
