We were very happy with our decision to hire Precision Roofing from start to finish. Craig came out to give us a quote for a new roof and attic ventilation and he was very thorough and articulate in his explanation of the process. In fact we were thinking of going with a different roofer that came in with a quote that was lower, but after meeting Craig we felt it was a better choice and they did not disappoint. They showed up on time and the owner Erik came and looked over the job too. When we came home at the end of the day the owner was there looking everything over and making sure nothing got missed. They did a great job on the roof and totally cleaned up around the house. We would highly recommend this company. read more

I was exceptionally pleased with the service I received with Precision Roofing. I was happy with each interaction I had with their team, from Jermane (Advisor) and Erik (Owner) during the development of the quote to Steve (Team Leader) and Luis (Installer) during the installation - and of course Giovanna in the front office. I chose them for a few reasons, first they were very fair in the negotiation of the contract and worked on a number of options which I requested. Secondly, they use the roofing material I preferred given the amount of time I plan to live in our house. Finally, I felt their integrity during each conversation we had together. I believe they had both my interests and their's in mind during each step of the process. In the end though the best part is the results. The roof looks fantastic! read more

Website says they do skylights in Framingham. I book an appt for an assessment for a skylight. Not only does the guy not show up or call, but when I call to see when he is coming, I find out he doesn't want to do a skylight in Framingham although clearly, that's what his site says. Rude, very rude. Skip and go to the next roofer. read more

Excellent quote work. This is an odd review, because we ended up going with another company, but I felt like I should rate Precision on the *free estimate* part of their work. It was quick, very professional, and the most complete estimate we received, with various supporting information. Clearly done with a lot of care. And the estimate was very competitive. Precision Roofing installed our new roof today! We worked with Jermane Stephinger and he did everything as promised and beyond. He searched everywhere to locate and get us the Atlantic Blue Shingles we wanted. The work crew was here at 7am sharp this morning and worked non stop until done. He moved a vent as we requested and even tacked a neighbors loose trim piece for us while he was here. Everything was protected and cleaned up, no nails or sign that anyone was here other than a gorgeous new roof. The price was outstanding, company extremely professional and we are very happy! This has been our best experience with a contractor so far. It doesn't get any better than this. read more

I'm giving them 5-start because they honored a verbal commitment. The sales guy didn't write up the job correctly, it was vague and only half of the roof was done (the damaged side), but the entire roof was old and needed to be replaced, the owner honored the work and did the entire job great. I will use them again when the time comes. read more

Eric was terrific. His crew worked hard and did a nice job. The woman who answers the phone is obnoxious and treated both of us horribly (gave us wrong information about the start date (after we took a day off to be there), talked over us when we called). She admits to having problems with the post office (there are 2 addresses on the contract). SO FIX THE CONTRACT to have one address and give better customer service. There's a lot of competition out there. Their company would do far better if the woman understood more about customer service. read more

Don't quite understand the poor reviews. Erik has always come out when needed. This winter for example I called the day before a storm to reattach my ice cables and he came that day! He also provided a quote for my brother-in-law on a home they hadn't even closed on yet. Great guy and the crew was nice as well. read more

With this year's winter, I had made an appointment to clean my roof. they quoted me $100 for service and $50/hr/worker. I asked if they are insured and they said yes and that they will send me the papers prior to the service. The papers were never sent. They came and did a good job. my mother was home at the time of service and she noted 5 workers and the time of arrival and departure. They worked for 2 hours. A week later I got a voice mail stating that they have issues with invoices but the price is $800. I emailed them asking for clarifications and invoice as my math did not add up (5 workers for 2 hours at $50 is $500 plus the service of $100, my math comes to $600 not $800). The owner's wife, also the billing person, called me immediately after the email and said that her husband, the owner was there and this is the price. i asked for the invoice and the details of the job. She hangs up and shortly calls back telling me that there were 7 men not 5. I said my mother was home and she counted 5, the owner's wife said well you were not home and your mother did not see correctly, there were 7 and the price is that and that's it. I am not looking for cheap work, but fair, and polite. This company is none! I will not work with them again for sure! read more

Had the best experience possible with Precision Roofing. I have a 360+ year-old house and renovations are never easy. Precision came, looked at my roof and gave me a detailed estimate. They showed up today, stripped 2 layers of shingles, redid the underlayment including ice&water shield 6' up and 3' on the eaves, flashing around 3 chimneys and a skylight, and finished in ONE day! Price was exactly as quoted. Could not be more impressed with the company or the results. Five stars!! read more

I don't usually write poor reviews, however after speaking with them on the phone and making an appointment, they didn't call nor show up. I waited all morning which was an inconvenience. I called to see if they were coming and no one answered the phone. Extremely unprofessional to waste people's time and stand them up. Not cool. read more

These are the 2 trucks that showed up 9382 .... 9310.... I don't know the men's names. So between around 10am and 11 am the roofing Crew arrived as I was informed they would be. I have no issue with them doing their job at all. Speaking from a distance, back and forth as is necessary for them to do their job, that's just too be expected. I don't mind the ladders or the noise on the roof. I was informed that would be on the agenda for the day. What I do mind, am offended and disrespected by is unprofessionalism displayed by the "team" that stood outside my living room/kitchen windows yelling profanity continuously. Every word, or every other word was profane. I have kids ages 3,4,5, and16 that can all hear the whole conversation clearly. As small children of coarse they are fascinated by this new activity outside, my kids ears are wide open and attention is full on. So from my window, very nicely and respectfully, I informed the man that my children can hear them and they are small and learning and repeating everything. He apologized and he was nice and respectful at the time...... Until they returned..... Again yelling between the ground and roof loud profanity...... I let it go and just kept to myself because my kids were in their rooms. I then hear the man that I had spoke with say to the one on the roof, "Hey there are kids here, the mom wants us to watch what we say. I already got yelled at". Mind you I never yelled or used any type of disrespectful, or elevated tone. I swear I heard my 16yr old in this grown man! Those are unprofessional reactions, unacceptable language and conversation for the work place. I would imagine that is not precision's standard of service. This is a very amateur business image. Like someone hired to do a half assed side job off of Craigslist so disappointed. With customer care and concern at this level I didn't even pay regard to the actual labor they provided read more

They sure sounded good, even on the phone. I made an appointment, explaining how urgent it was since my roof had sprung a leak and water was getting into my house. Then after making sure I was home and waiting for an hour and half for the contractor to show up, I called and left a voice mail. No response. No show. I can't say enough nice things about the experience of having our roof replaced by Precision Roofing. Irving is a rock star when it comes to customer service. He answered all our questions, explained the difference between products, explained the timeline, the process, everything. We wanted cedar in the front because we have a gambrel and most of the roof can be seen from the road. Irving suggested regular shingles in the back to keep costs down. Irving left samples of both types of cedar, and multiple types of shingles. Gave us addresses of houses that his company had done so we could drive by to see the different styles. He did not pressure us to sign the contract or hurry us in anyway, even though the bad weather was coming soon. He was not condescending to us in anyway, because we were not up on the latest products. He really listened to us. Something that is rare to find with any home repair or service people now. We also needed some minor repairs to the edge trim on the house which his team also did a great job at a reasonable cost. They also installed 2 chimney caps for us, which is not usual for a roofing company. The team was on time and very professional (no swearing, no yelling, no throwing cigarette butts on our yard, never grumbled if they had to move the truck so we could leave, etc.) and always glad to answer questions and took the time to explain. For example, at the end of each day they went over the yard with a large magnet to pick up any stray nails, so we wouldn't drive over any or walk on them. They were very tidy and cleaned up the debris at the end of each day. Irving came back a few weeks after the job to check in with us and to see if we had any questions. They were not the lowest estimate, but you get what you pay for. I did not want to replace the roof in a few years. I get a smile on my face each time I drive in my driveway and look at the beautiful cedar roof. It seems to change each time, depending on the sun, rain, etc. We made the best decision going with Precision. read more
