Demetri stayed open 40 minutes past closing on a Friday, and helped out on the selling price of a car I bought from him. He also did so much more. I flew in from Detroit to Philly to buy a used car in South New Jersey from a used dealer. The car had been photoshopped and was a complete lie and as a result I did not buy it. In a last minute effort I looked around online and found a car from Dimitri. I called him to see if the car was still available and went to go buy it. He had good connections at the tag office and got them to stay after hours as well to help us out with the sale. He also called later that night to see how the car was. The next day while traveling back to Michigan and over 200 miles away from Philly (at a turn pike rest area), my keys got accidentally stuck in the trunk with the convertible roof down when I went to go answer a phone call. As a result of the roof being down, the trunk release and backseat releases were disabled. I dealt with a locksmith over a period of 6 hours but in the meantime Demetri went back to his office and started looking at wiring diagrams to figure out an electronic way in, in case the locksmith failed... All on his day off. After I got into the car and got my keys, I found out that the doors being open that entire time had drained my batteries. A tow truck driver came out but did not have the proper tools to jump my car. He also messed with my fuses, broke a fuse cover, and left me stranded for a family function. I called Demitri to let him know what was going on, and once again while he was on his day off... he went to the shop, got a spare battery just in case, some tools, and got in his car and traveled over 200 miles one way to where I was stranded during the night. He got there at 1 in the morning found that the one tow driver had removed some necessary fuses replace them jumped my car with a starter pack he had brought all within a 10 minute period. He took personal time from his family to drive that great distance both ways, went to his shop twice that day, and paid gas and tolls to get to me... and the day before he had never even heard of me. He also amazed me with his 40 year in depth knowledge of Saabs and his passion for them. He went above and beyond any level of customer service expectation I have ever had. I wish he was out of Michigan so that I could go to him for service all the time. But I am in Michigan and not in New Jersey or Eastern Pennsylvania. But to those who are I would strongly suggest him. You're the man Demetri! read more

I have serviced my car here multiple times. I have three SAABs and they know these cars inside and out! They do all types of cars though but they are serious specialists in SAABs, imports and custom cars. They are affordable. Far less then dealership prices. They also have a 1998 900SE Talladega loaner car but call in advance to reserve it. I like this place a lot however sometimes their work and or! These guys will also work with you and create a service plan to get you car in top running condition. I may not be always able to afford all my repairs at once but they are great at prioritizing and working with you. Since writing this review awhile back I have had some poor experiences. 1. I had a box of car parts in the trunk that went missing and they could not locate. 2. My car was locked out and they needed to break into it. 3. The bolts on my tie rods were never put back on after some suspension work and that really messed up my car while driving down the highway. 4. Brought my car in for an idle issue they were unable to fix... I'm assuming they hired a mechanic that is not up to standards. I don't think I will be returning here. Which is a shame because I really like this place and I want to take my SAABs to a "SAAB mechanic." Bummer. Get service done at your own risk. read more

Demi knows what he's doing. He doesn't give you bullshit. A few examples. I bought a car and had him look at it. He tells me it needs some work on the rear brakes. Well his wonderful daughter calls me up the next day and says, well actually all it needed was a bit of caliper work, and they didn't even need to replace the discs or brakes! Just recently I needed a front right wheel bearing. Now I am just a lowly guy, who can change his oil and that's about it. do they say I need the whole bearing, hub and assembly like some sort of rip off mechanic? NO! they say this is all you need, and it was done faster than you expected! He once went out of the way to fix a seized tie rod end on my '01 Viggen, the whole crew stayed an hour late on friday so I wouldn't miss a hot date, and got me back on the road and I even made it to the show on time. Honesty, clarity, and a willingness and ability to help customers understand how their cars work and what it needs makes Demi my go to guy. plus he calls me "Mr Viggen" LOL read more

I wish I would have seen the reviews on here before I took my car here. I brought it to Precision based on the recommendation of the guy who did my convertible top. I thought I found my go to mechanic for my beloved 9-3. No such luck. $2500 later, though they fixed some of the things on the car, there are still issues with it and it is not what I expected. When you drop what in essence is a small down payment on a new car, on your old car, you would think that it would work and the owner would stand by his work. The challenge is they have enough business where one customer like me won't make a difference to them...and they act like it. Not that they aren't pleasant...they just don't understand service and don't follow up appropriately. After "fixing" my car the first time, and me saying it wasn't right, they assured me that they would look at it and "make it right." Well, making it right to them was waiting almost a month after repeated phone calls by me, to take my car back. After waiting for that month, I leave the lot and the engine is still not responding the same way, and wanted to charge me another $200! I would have preferred that they told me from the jump that they couldn't fix it so in addition to wasting my money, they didn't waste my time. I tried to be reasonable with them, as I get things happen sometimes, but I would not recommend them and would implore you to take your car somewhere else where $95/ hr labor will get you the expertise you think you are paying for. Oh, I also agree with the other reviewer. The final cost was $500 over the original estimate I was given. I think that is a part of how they do business because they know you are in so deep already and just want your car back, so you pay it. Beware. Its a shame. It didn't have to be this way. read more

The worse ! Never once matched their quote. Takes forever to fix a car. Rude!! My car was there for its annual inspection and it cost $1800. and some dollars. I paid Demi the owner and then he informed me my car was broken into while on his lot. It looked like jaws ate the dashboard!! He never apologized, he never fixed my car, He never paid me, he didn't even pay the $ 500. 00 deductible he owed! First class rip-off I have seen him arguing even with other customers because he quoted them a much lesser price then what he was charging them. He is famous for that!!! It is starting to become a challenge to find repair shops that will work on Saabs as the car they are fairly unique & the number of cars is dwindling. Precision plus is a long way for me but I go there if I have anything more than a DIY job (I am fairly handy). It is a family run business that have been into Saabs for years. I recently took my Saab here, which was recommended by a friend who has been going there for years. I was very happy with the service there. Demi and Ria really took the time to make sure I understood what was going on with my car and helped to prioritize repairs as I was on a budget. They also helped me save money by giving me the option of installing good used parts. They gave me a loaner to use that I didn't have to pay for while my car was being repaired. I was very pleased with the work done, I could tell he really put his heart into it, as I know how much he loves saabs. He stayed late to get my car done and wait for me to get there. I have known demetri since he worked at Bob Yates Fiat / Saab ( now McCafferty used cars ). He has always been one of the best Saab mechanics out there. He uses only the proper parts & will not do anything questionable however he has on occassion been scammed by some clients but they are the real looser cause they aren't allowed back. In his new location he has the space to be a dealership if he wanted to but sadly while Saab's are being built again (9.3's) by the new owners but none are slated for export...yet. If they do, don't be surprised if demitri signs on as on as a new car dealership. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE business... After paying the required $1,000 down payment and him having the car for about 6 weeks, he came back to me to insist that my car is "Unfix-able" and needs to be junked. He will insist that he is "helping you out" the whole time he is screwing you over. VERY dishonest, sneaky and untrustworthy. read more
