I don't often write reviews save for the VERY GOOD or VERY BAD experiences I have. In this case; it is the former. I cannot speak highly enough about Ara and his company, PRECISION HOME MOVERS. I have moved many times in my life and I find I either have to pay a lot for quality care and service; or sacrifice professionalism for a limited budget. In this case--and one of the very few I've encountered--I received BOTH! Ara and Precision Home Movers is one of the few companies I've encountered where the price is reasonable, and the service is similar to that of a larger moving company. At the beginning of my moving process, I contacted 15 different moving companies from Angieslist and Craigslist with the same RFQ. Precision Home Movers was one of the FIRST TO RESPOND and address EVERY item and question in my RFQ. Their quote format was clear, transparent, professionally-done--AND AFFORDABLE! From that point on, they were one of my top-two candidates. However, when I met Ara in person during on our initial "walk-through"; his knowledge and professionalism sealed the deal. I am SO HAPPY I choose this company! Although they are just starting out, they bring many years of experience moving for larger companies. Their package included several add-ons that other companies were charging extra for (i.e., a few wardrobe boxes the day of the move, smaller extra boxes as needed, lots of padding and floor protection, etc.) Additionally, these guys exceeded my expectations on the move day. They worked fast, hard, careful, and smoothly. This is hands-down one of the BEST MOVE EXPERIENCES I've ever had. I find Ara and his team to be extremely professional and I predict nothing but ongoing success for this company as they continue to grow. Best movers I have ever dealt with in many years. I am telling you won't regret the service.First and foremost they are professional from the start with their first contact with you. The owner Ara is very pleasant, courteous and a hard worker. I really needed someone last minute, I contacted him at 9pm on a Saturday night and he promptly replied. The next morning I booked him asap. Ara is honest, I felt he was trustworthy with my move and I felt really good about everything compared to other movers I used before. They showed up exactly on time and sent me estimated arrival texts. It was a two man crew, Ara and one other guy who was also a pleasant to deal with. They got right to the job, assessed everything and started the job. I did not have to explain much at all, I could have left them and I would have felt confident, it would have been done perfectly. They packed the truck perfectly and it was just so easy, stress free and I will use them again if needed in the future. It's hard to find a mover nowadays that you can trust not break or dent things and not tell you. Let me begin by saying these guys are amazing. They may have "just started" this company but you can tell from the booking process that they are long-time professionals in the moving business. I came across their special of free materials and $75 per hour and gave them a call to inquire because I needed to move some things into storage while waiting for my new house to be ready. The lady who answered the phone, the owner's wife, was so helpful. She asked a few questions about my quick notice move and directed me to their website to fill out the super easy form. I got a formal, reasonable quote within an hour. The day of the move, Ara showed up 5 minutes early and was ready to roll. He was very friendly, professional, and got right to work. He and his staff wrapped all my furniture, tv, and framed artwork. They loaded everything in the truck with great care and I really felt comfortable about quality of service. When we arrived at my storage unit, the guys asked me if there was anything I'd need access to and made sure that the unit was packed with the utmost efficiency. Loved Precision Home Movers! We contacted them on somewhat of a short notice but they easily accommodated us anyways and helped to move large pieces of furniture and boxes into our Pod container. They were polite on the phone and in person and answered all questions honestly, not trying to upsell us on anything or be pushy. They were professional, clean and arrived on time. We have a 3 story home and they took care with the walls and easily moved items from the top floor down and out the door. Price was great. We had most items padded and taped before their arrival because we had moving blankets and tape we wanted to use up, but the items we didn't have ready they were able to wrap and tape up for us at a very small additional cost. They finished the job in just under 2 hours and Tetris-ed all our items in snug, not wasting any space. On top of that, it was a frozen tundra when we needed the help and they were troopers in the severe cold. If we weren't moving so far we would have used them for our full move, and if we find ourselves in the area in the future we will absolutely use them again. read more

Precision Movers, ... what a tremendous find. We were looking for a mover who would move us in stages over a period of weeks. Most companies we contacted wanted us to fill out a form on their site, without regard to the needs of our situation. When we contacted Precision, Ara called us directly and visited our home to discuss the multi stage move. He was very accommodating, and reserved specific times for us over a period of three weeks. Ara's team was prompt, courteous, efficient, and most importantly, careful with he few delicate items we had. Overall, their greatest attribute was communication. Ara's team asked if something appeared mislabeled, or wasn't labeled. At the receiving end, they willingly relocated items that just didn't fit, and made suggestions that worked better than we envisioned. Recently used Precision Home Movers for an apartment move. I was worried the day prior to the move as I hadn't received a follow up email that they said they would send. However, contacted the company and left a voicemail, to which they later replied confirming the appointment. The next day, 3 guys arrived promptly and ready to work. We had a couple of big furniture pieces that needed protection (huge sectional, two big tvs, dining table, king bed, mattress, etc), as well as 30 or so boxes and bins. They were very professional at all times, and moved quickly and efficiently. It took approx 3.5-3.75hrs total to move everything from point A to point B. No hidden fees and no issues whatsoever! Precision Home Movers exceeded our expectations! Ara was easy to communicate with to set up an estimate and to confirm a moving date. We found Ara, Nathan and Walt to be communicative throughout the day and highly professional. They arrived on time, were respectful and worked efficiently. They even had some wardrobe boxes on hand which they were able to provide at a nominal cost for the move. They were really careful with our furniture and did a great job wrapping and packing it into the truck. They were even accommodating when we changed our minds on furniture placement at the new house. Ara and his team did a wonderful job of moving our entire house from Woodbridge to Falmouth on a rainy day and put everything where we needed it in the new house. They were a perfect company to help me and my wife place and suggest where to put things in all rooms. They even moved a very special grandfather clock for us without breaking or loosing any small pieces for us. They also helped clean everything up from the move as well as put down trackers on the carpets so mud wouldn't come off their shoes and also just took them off as needed and that was very appreciative I'd suggest anybody that wants a great move price for professional movers to work with Precision Home Movers and Ara and his team each and every time! read more

We decided at the last minute we were going to need a mover to help our daughter move out. I went online and Precision Home Movers was the perfect company. I filled out their form and someone got back to me immediately. Their rates were very fair and I was appreciative they could help us with just 3 days notice. They were supposed to be here at 2:00 but it was snowing that day and they called me saying they were running 1 hour late due to the weather. I liked that they communicated with me rather then leave me hanging. The movers were very professional and courteous and took great pride in what they were doing. We used, Precision Home Movers...awesome company! This is a small family owned operation that I would highly recommend to anyone. And, due to unforeseen circumstances, we made 2 moves, first time to a local storage unit after our home sold...then, second move to our new home that was 2 hours away from the storage unit. Precision Home Movers took care of both moves...the entire team gave 110% the entire time. The team showed up both mornings of each move, right on time, and immediately went to work. We have never seen guys that took such great care of our furniture and personal items like they did. Precision Movers is an amazing moving service. They have personal service. I have used them MANY times over the past two months. They helped me with my move to North Carolina during Hurricane Florence. They wrapped and carefully moved very heavy furniture. The same week I called them to come back to North Carolina .My mother's home was flood by Hurricane Florence. They moved the furniture to storage- IN NORTH CAROLINA! Again they packed everything nicely. We never had a broken item. Picture,lamps etc.. They have picked up items for me from craigslist as well as did a office move. These guys are the BEST! No one loves moving and there is always a ton of stress and a lot going on. But these guys made everything so smooth. Not only were they extremely professional, they were punctual, responsive, and FAST. I was shocked at how quickly they got everything moved AND handled everything with great care. They were kind and always asking where things needed to go, etc. Even when I asked to move an existing couch through 2 tiny door frames (a task that I didn't think was possible) they had it done in less then 10 minutes. If you're looking for professional movers, there's only one choice. I had the unfortunate task of moving my office to the basement. Because I injured my back, I could not perform the move without damaging my new floor and stairs. Precision accommodated my short notice request, arrived on time, wrapped my furniture, and managed to get it downstairs without damaging the stairs, floor, or walls. I never worried at any point during the move if my expensive office furniture would be damaged. They were professional from beginning to end. We recently moved from Reston Va to Potomac Md. We were very happy with Ara and Precision Movers! They arrived when they said they would, were extremely careful not to mark up the walls as they moved furniture out, and carefully wrapped all pieces of furniture. I underestimated the job so they had to spend more time on the job but they did it cheerfully and with care. I would highly recommend Precision Movers - a small company that takes great care and provides excellent service! Ara and his team of movers were amazing. They came out and gave us a quote weeks prior to our move and the actual cost didn't change. They were on time, professional, friendly and got everything packed up and in the moving truck. They dropped some of our things in storage and brought the rest into the new home - no dings on the walls moving in or out and was an overall pleasant experience. Precision Home Movers was wonderful! Ara and his team were extremely careful in packing us and moving us across town in Great Falls, VA. I loved that the packing team was the same as the moving team, as they knew which boxes belonged in which rooms upon arrival. We moved into a brand new house with beautiful hardwood floors and new paint on the walls, and not a single thing was damaged. They were extremely kind and conscientious. And the price was great!
