Husband got the cutest frames and had a great experience picking out his lens options. Spent about 350 ish and so worth it.

The procedure itself was about 10-15 minutes. It was absolutely painless, just felt some pressure. My eyes were very sensitive after the procedure (why naps are encouraged). I got home, took a 4 hour nap and when I woke up, the eye irritation was significantly less. Every passing day, my eyes are less dry and irritated. And my vision seems to get better and clearer. After care was very easy, eye drops and vitamins. Price was great, office staff is great, process & after care, great. Very satisfied and glad I chose to come here. Would definitely recommend!

It's also the biggest chain and has multiple locations throughout the US, beating the competitors here in Utah. My Dr was Sally Thompson and she has a ton of experience. I encourage you to research your drs before going through with any surgery. I think Dr Thompson has over 50,000 successful lasik procedures completed. The staff was amazing and all very nice. The procedure itself only took like 15min. It is exactly 24hrs since I got the procedure done. I went to lasik plus today for my follow up appointment. My vision is already BETTER than 20/20, and once the haloing goes away due to the healing process, my vision will become even clearer. If I was given the choice to do it all over again or stay using glasses/contacts, I would do the procedure again without hesitation. And I would recommend that anyone get it done for themselves if they were candidates. I would absolutely send them to Lasik Plus.

I have been seeing Dr David Dodds here for a few years now and it's been pretty great! He…read morespecializes in glaucoma and he sees a lot of glaucoma patients. Its funny though, I'm probably the youngest patient who gets regularly checked for glaucoma. They have a lot of top of the line equipment for checking glaucoma, they have this fancy camera that takes pictures of my optic nerve and this sphere that you put your head inside for testing your peripheral vision. It's all way nicer than any other eye clinic I've ever been to. One criticism I have is their glasses selection. It's all pretty basic stuff, you're definitely not going to find the newest trends as far as glasses are concerned but if you're just looking for something basic, they probably have what you need. I think they pretty much expect everyone to order their glasses online though, they pretty much immediately print my prescription as soon as my appointment is over, they don't even bother asking if I want to peruse their selection first. If you happened to live nearby, I could see it being convenient to come here just for a regular eye exam just to be able to try on glasses in person. Their prices seemed pretty reasonable to me. Of course for me, I come here for the regular glaucoma check up, the fact that they can take care of my prescription too is icing on the cake. They're also not in the most convenient of locations. It makes it really hard to get here without driving. I often have to get my eyes dilated for the glaucoma screening and I don't trust myself to drive or bike after that. I end up taking the bus, which takes awhile. On the other hand, I would be exceptionally impressed if this kind of facility was conveniently located downtown so I accept the fact that you can't have it all and I don't mind the extra commute to get exceptional treatment.

She said, in essence, "too bad" pay what I show on my computer. She wouldn't review my benefits card to see that I paid what was due. Then, got a 2nd Past Due notice, so I copied my benefits card to show I didn't owe what she claimed and mailed it in to the billing dept. Just got a 3rd notice for the same thing. I'm going to either ignore this and let them Dun me again and then see about suing them and reporting them to the owners of the facility or letting them send it to collections. The Doctor as wonderful and their facilities are good. Their billing department is horrible and causing a lot of stress.

Notably, this is such a rare quality in our society in general, that the fact that it can still exist in light of all the stressors we all face in the world is actually miraculous. For my part, I can only convey the thought I know that I've been truly blessed by the experience. My vision has been corrected beyond my expectations. Whereas before I dare not approach a book, a newspaper or let alone my phone without glasses, now i am typing this review. In my observations, having such a variety of people come together with all their private lives looming always in the background of their own minds; to have the aforementioned capacity to bless me, convey empathy to me and display a certain investment in my outcome glaringly speaks to the fact the entire staff that attended to my needs in this facility are individually unique and beautiful souls with the skillsets to match in ensuring that you leave there far better than when you arrived. I can be a difficult eye patient, with all the machines, and probing, and prodding around my eyes. Each time they remind me that I need to get my eyes dilated, in order to have a proper eye exam. When I make my eye appointment it is during banker hours, and therefore I have to get back to work. I haven't had my eyes dilated for a few years now, due to the downtime, it takes for your eyes to be able to read printed words. I just found out that they are open on some Saturdays, and that I could make a Saturday appointment, that way I wouldn't have to take anytime off work. On a less than positive side, Keirsten the assistant, was very condescending, and borderline rude. I would also, like to see the "intake" machines updated. They remind me of old school eye exams where you covered one eye with your hand.

Attempted credit card fraud and a bait and switch!!!…read more Don't believe all the 5 star reviews on Google. They make you write a review before providing service, and bribe you for a good review. Went for their free consultation. Don't believe their ads, not even the simplest of corrective surgeries will be offered for $500. They have extremely predatory pricing (much higher than local competition, deceptive marketing, and artificially inflated prices with false discounts such as a "booking fee," as if you could get a surgery without booking it first.) They also have predatory financing, with horrible rates and terms, and tried to run my credit without my consent, and without explaining any of the terms or conditions of the financing, or even telling me they were going going to run it. When someone asks for your social security number, never give it to them without asking why they need it first. Crooks like this will always take advantage of you if you do. Even after repeatedly stating that I would not be spending the $4,000+ they wanted from me, they tried to keep me there and pressure me into it. They kept trying to explain that somehow paying them $200+ a month was cheaper than buying glasses. Because somehow I buy new $200+ frames every month??? They also did not explain beforehand that they would be dilating my pupils, and what that would entail. I finally got out of there at around noon, on a very sunny day, and they tried to convince me that it was safe to drive, despite the fact that even being outside with my eyes open felt like staring directly into the sun, and the effect didn't wear off for a couple more hours. Luckily I had decided not to go alone at the last second, so my wife was able to drive. Definitely shop around before you get Lasik. There are much better prices and services out there. Getting youy procedure done here would be like getting something from a store at the mall, where they charge you double and lie about what you get, versus going to a family owned business and getting lifelong, honest service at a fair price.

My doctor, Dr Murdock, is very patient and explains things in ways that are easy to understand. He's taken the time to discuss my eye health, and gone over my scans/images with me. He's even used visuals to help me decipher some of the weird symptoms I was having. From the moment I…read morearrived, the atmosphere was unprofessional; the receptionist and nursing staff were openly whispering and gossiping about patients within earshot of the waiting area. Beyond the environment, the billing practices felt predatory. I was charged a $65 'contact fitting fee' despite having worn contacts for 20 years and not requiring a new fitting. To make matters worse, they didn't present me with the fee form until the end of my appointment--after my eyes had been dilated. I literally could not read the document I was being asked to sign. To top it off, I was sent out into the light without being offered disposable sunglasses or any post-dilation care. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking professional or compassionate eye care.
