He is a godsend to me!, after mechanic and anothr trans shop told me it was my transmission which is was not, Eddie finally found my prblm., and it only tk a day, I was desperate thinking I was not going to hv a car anymore until I found Eddie at Trans-fix!! I think at this point he can do anything, their are really no wrds to describe how brilliant he is!!! The car I brought in was a 2010 Cobalt and I thought that, that was it for that car, but Eddie brought it back to life!!! I cannot thank you enough!!!! Anyways, I had experienced some trans slipping around 130k on my 2013 civic. He suggested getting a product called Dr. Tranny by lubegard (got it on amazon) for him to add after the drain and fill. My car is at 260k and my trans runs nice. Eddie is real nice and a good, down to earth dude. I'm glad I found him.

AAMCO also replaced a manifold gasket that was brittle. The car ran a lot better than it has in many years. I'm definitely going back to this AAMCO when I need more auto repairs!

I will say, they generously towed it for free from about a mile away. However, that was about the only generous thing they did. After having the car for a week, we heard nothing and finally called them. They gave us the run around and said the car would be up on the lift the next day. We heard nothing. Two weeks went by and we called again and they gave us the run around again. They apologized and said someone dropped the ball and that the car is up on the lift and taken apart but the part hasn't come in yet. As it was approaching three weeks, we called again. They said they would have it done in a few days. Finally, three weeks to the day they call with 15 minutes left in their work day and say its done but we can't pick it up because it was the end of their work day. We go to pick it up the next morning and the battery is dead because they said there is an issue with the door censor. They jump it and then the check engine light comes on. When they go to reset that censor, the car won't even start. They jump it again and we take it to where we got the battery to replace it because the battery was still under warranty. We took it over to get a replacement battery and Pep Boys tested the old one and it was 100%!! Turns out Advanced Transmission didn't tighten the wires all the way. After all of this, what do they do? They take off $100. After having the car for three weeks and not evening bothering to call and update us once, then not even sending us on our way with a fully functional car... they knock off $100. This is the worst auto shop we have ever experienced. Their customer service is terrible along with their ethics.

UPDATE 4/26/2023 I…read moream absolutely mind-blown by the ownership and accountability taken by Casey Automotive's owner, Mark. While, I would give my one-time experience with the mechanics a 0 star rating, I would give the follow-up by the ownership and absolute 6 star rating out of 5. That averages out to 3 stars. I would say that I have rarely seen this type of follow-up and care for their customers and their experiences from any other business. This was truly the example of good business practices. Mark compensated me for the outstanding bill associated with my issue and then some for my horrible day. I will assume my experience was an anomaly as I have never had this issue prior to this day. I thank Mark for reminding me that Casey is a family-owned business and a member of our community and I will do my part and continue to pledge my future business to their garage. Thank you again for making me feel valued as a customer and doing the right thing. Your business is truly an example for all other businesses out there.
