Had a faulty TPMS tire sensor (as evidenced by the dreaded blinking warning light on my dashboard) and made an online appointment for a Saturday morning. At first I'm thinking I'd be there for a considerable amount of time, as four other people were waiting for repairs. The TPMS diagnostic check is free of charge. And a new sensor is just 100 bucks plus tax. That's not bad for the convenience. To my delight, they popped in a new sensor and reset my TPMS indicator light in only 20 minutes! I'm dissatisfied with my experience here. I made an online appointment to install new tires and when setting up the appointment online, was told that they would be in stock. When I arrived for my appointment to get the tires installed, I was told they were not in stock. This was a waste of my time. brought car in for oil change and tire rotation. Asked it they rest oil life. They did not but they sent guy out to reset. Asked if they reset for rotation of tires. they said yes. went out to check if tires were rotated. noticed that the mark I put on tires in front were still on front. went back in and said they did not rotate the tires. guy said they could bring car back in and rotate but tires do not need to be rotated each time. I said I paid for rotation and you lied to me. I left . been going here for years with 5 cars. I will not go back. they lost a customer who had 5 cars serviced here. Just had my tire patched, which they did a great job of. The problem is they gave my car back to me with my air pressure still low in my tire... I stopped in with a slow leak in one of my back tires. Not ideal commuting conditions, to say the least! I walked right up to the counter and requested that they take a look at the tire and only repair it, if at all possible. I got no excuses or pressure to buy a new tire. A few minutes later, the guy at the counter had an estimate printed up on how much it would cost for a repair. I was pleased, so I sat down to wait out the fate of my tire. The front of the store acts as a lobby, with a few chairs placed near the window. From there you can read, stare off into space, watch the fish in the fish tank, or peruse the wall of new tires they carry. It's clean, not cozy, and you can experience the sounds and smells of tire repair going on in the background. Comforting to me, but maybe not others. A little over a half hour later, I was told that they were able to fix the repair and my car was ready. I'm ecstatic to report that even after they got a hold of my car and were already looking at the bad tire, I received zero pressure to buy a new one. Great service!! I do have to say that I come from a staunch Linder Tire family, and anyone that's lived around Iowa City knows what I'm talking about! That means it takes everything within me to even set foot anywhere else. If the other tires decide to follow suit and I can't make it to Iowa, I'll most definitely return to this place. read more

Brought in my car after picking up a nail in a tire. They didn't have the tire but could get it and then get it on the car by the end of the day. I ended up going to my dealership where I got the car, and wow do I wish I had just let Just Tires fix it. I purchased 4 new tires at this location and made an on line appointment to have them installed yesterday. The Manager, Robert, helped me when I arrived and left my car. The staff had a hard time find the wheel key lock and I was advised to pick up my car because they couldn't put the new tires on without this key. I picked up my car, went home and found the key in the trunk. When I called Robert he went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience. He said if I had the time to bring the car back he would have me out the door with new tires on my car in no time. I took him at his word and he came through! He also offered an alignment (if needed) at a lower price to once again make up for the inconvenience. I highly recommend this Just Tires location. I am SO thankful for this place of business! I wish I had paid attention to the name of the guy who waited on me. All I know is he was very pleasant and straight forward. As of late last night I had a slow leak going in my back left tire, which had already had a puncture and repair performed on it about three months ago. I'm new to the area, and here it was a Sunday. I figured no one would be open to repair it today. Well, Just Tires came to my rescue. I was told upfront if there was a new puncture to the tire, it would be able to be patched no problem. But if they found that the old patch had failed, it may mean I would need a new tire (Just Tires did not perform the repair done three months ago). Well I was fortunate that it was a new puncture, and they had my tire patched and ready to go in no time at all. And they even remembered to make that "low tire" light on my dash go off. I got a flat tier yesterday at 5 pm and I didn't have a spare one, luckily this guys were open until 7, and I've been told that if I'll be able to get there by 6:30 they would replace the tier today. Very discriminating place against women. I called in for a flat tire to be repaired and the guy told me that he had no availability until several hours later which I had to make an appointment so I did and completely understood. I came in and waited to be seen with no one coming for awhile. I came in a few minutes early for my scheduled appointment so I waited. Then, finally Steve came and was abrupt with me and just had me sign and give him my keys. Twenty minutes later a guy comes in with the same exact problem with no appointment and he gets served not only right away, but his flat tire (same problem as me) was repaired within 15 minutes while I waited over an hour to get it repaired. Not once did Steve tell him he had to make an appointment and he was very nice to him yet treated me rudely and differently like I didn't know what I was talking about. I went in for an Oil change as well as a check for my tires. Went up to the counter and told the gentlemen I will be dropping the car off he notified me that they will call me once done. I never received a call, after 3 hours I assumed car was done so I went back. As i walked in saw a gentlemen with the glasses sitting on a computer not paying any attention to the cashier station after a few minutes walked over told me oil change was complete not once did he mention anything about the tire check. Also they charged me 3.50 for shop supplies in addition to disposal fee. which upon my inquiry I was notified was for shop rags seems a bit riducoulous to pass that cost ob to the consumer. 3.50 is not a big deal but combined with other thigs not a good experience. read more

Went in today and got a new tire. Unfortunately this is the 3rd new tire I've gotten in the last couple of months (the first at this location) and Just Tires is the cheapest around. I didn't go inside except to drop off my keys and pay so I'm not sure about the waiting area, but the service was pleasant and my car was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I called to get quote on my SUV tires not knowing if I had 16" or 18" I was quoted $142 for 16" and like and idiot didn't write down 18" it was more but not obnoxious I get there on 10-8-17 and Rob the manager tells,me I have 18" tires and the one tire will be $220!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! Salesman Steve did not quote me that I can promise you!!! Rob made NO apologies for misunderstanding couldn't care less that I was upset at what seemed to be bait and switch to me.
