We received several bids, and while Beyond Remodeling was not the least expensive, the personal attention Dana provided immediately set the company apart. She took the time to sit down with my wife and me to understand our vision, budget, and concerns. While the other companies simply quoted what we requested, Dana offered thoughtful suggestions, alternative options, color schemes, and expert guidance before we ever signed an agreement. She truly brought our vision to life. The entire Beyond Remodeling team was wonderful. They communicated clearly, kept us informed, and walked us through every step of the process. Aside from a few unavoidable delays outside their control, the project remained on schedule. The stone masons and plaster crews were exceptional, and the quality of their work was a solid 10 out of 10. Dana had a previously scheduled vacation during the remodel, but she continued checking in with us by text. Yair, the owner, maintained a strong local presence and made sure everything continued moving forward smoothly in her absence. We cannot say enough good things about Dana, Yair, and the entire Beyond Remodeling team. We highly recommend them and already have Dana and Beyond Remodeling on speed dial for our future remodeling projects!

The "adu calculator " then says I need a phone Turns out this is just another contractor using slimy tricks. I got a call from this company. I told them about the the adu calculator issue. They said it was a problem with the website. I asked what the costs are for a basic ADU. She said "around $100K". Then she said it would be around $250K. I said what do you get for $100K. She said "nothing ". I asked why she threw out that number. She gave me a bunch of excuses like that she hadn't worked there long or she was unauthorized to give numbers. Either way this is just another contractor rather than a legit ADU calculator and they likely have no interest in actually giving objective real world estimates Stay away from them!

A few weeks ago our pool guy pointed out that one of the rocks had come loose and fallen into the pool! We were very concerned about the damage and not sure how to get it fixed. My husband found DreamScapes on Yelp and gave them a call. James, the business owner, understood the job perfectly and was extremely professional from start to finish. We were quoted a fair price. James and his team arrived exactly on time, prepared the cavity where the rock needed to go, lifted it out of the water (which took all three of them! about 200 lbs.!), put it back in better than it was (doesn't stick out as much) and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. James took the time to advise us on ground cover and tree maintenance near the pool, providing reliable resources we could call upon. We know this is a pretty small job compared with other reviewers who have had their whole yard redone but it absolutely needed to be done ASAP and we were very grateful to James and his team for taking it seriously and doing such a professional job. THANKS!

He crafted a small but beautiful water feature in the shape and design that we desired. We had previously hired another contractor to landscape our backyard, but we had such a terrible experience because of the refusal to follow our wishes for this project. At that point, we decided to transition back to James because we trusted him and knew he would do a fantastic job. We had several conversations with James about how we wanted to landscape our backyard. We told him we wanted drought-tolerant plants and with that he came up with a lush and diverse variety of CA native plants that he took great pains and time to help us place. He'd arrive with his team who were always on time, professional, and hardworking. James brings with him a passion and great knowledge for what he does. He walks with a joyful energy, and it was such a pleasure to work with him. Today we have such a beautiful garden that draws an array of birds and butterflies. We couldn't be happier with the end product! It exceeds what we could have ever imagined our yard to be. And this can be directly attributed to James' expertise. He has invited us to stay in touch with him regarding the maintenance of our new paradise. Our backyard has become a refuge for us, the sound of the waterfall drowning out the usual noise at a distance. Thank you again, James, for making this landscape project such a wonderful experience.
