Whatever you do, do not go to the lady that is here on Thursday evenings if you're black. She had no manners, used alcohol to wipe my tint off and it was so much that my eye felt like it was burning. No apology at all just rolls her eyes when asked her for some water to wipe it. Asked me to pay before completing the service because she said the store was closing after me however as soon as a white couple walks in she continues to service them as if she never told me the store was closing. I always come here for my brows since it's close and in my neighborhood. They have a loyalty card where you can get do 10 and get 1 threading for free. 8 dollars for brows, which are consistent in quality every time. I've never had an issue with uneven brows, except for a little asymmetry that every one has. Ladies here are nice and welcoming every time. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! This is the worst salon anyone can ever go to. I usually don't write reviews but this time I had to.The lady told me to take of my clothes and after that she told me to go clean. Can't forget to add that i was half naked and bare foot in addition to that the place is not clean and the rooms are dirty. The flush was not working and when I used it the water was tryna come out. I went there to get my brazilian done. Everything down there is swollen and bleeding. I literally had to get up in the middle of the session as all i was able to see was blood down there. The lady was highly unprofessional. It literally caused me so much pain that I couldn't even walk. I've had laser and waxing done before several times so when i say it did hurt, it did hurt like hell. She charged me full even tho she did it for less than 3 minutes making everything bleed. read more

I have been going here for years. My sister had referred me to Farrah and since the day we met I have been a loyal customer. My eyebrows are always on FLEEK!!! I always leave happy, and always get compliments on my eyebrows.... Earlier this year I got married, and made sure all my spa and grooming was done here. Everything was smooth and painless. Prior to my henna party I also had my henna work done on my hands and feet. My henna on my wedding photos look amazing :D I recently moved to Long Island, but I still drive to Brooklyn every two weeks to get my eyebrows done. Everyone at the salon does a phenomenal job at assisting clients, they're very informative as well as helpful with suggestions pertaining to upkeep and beauty. I've been here a few times to get my brows threaded. It was the closest to my job and they do pretty good but i found cheaper places thats just as good. Like 5th ave sunset. They claimed to be Professionals on doing everything they did including eyelash extensions. Now, I've had my lashes done Professionally a few times before so I know how it feels to get them done. They had this lady do my eyelashes starting at 2pm, I picked the lashes that weren't 1 by 1 so it would be faster. This lady took so long and it felt like she didn't know what she was doing. Other ladies kept coming up to me to see how she was doing. I think she was probably new. Like seriously? How do u have someone new doing something that needs to be done with a license. Anyway, I was very very UNHAPPY with the results. It totally looked fake. Never again will I do them here and I do not recommend anyone doing lashes here either. Oh and she finished more than an hour later. Next time ill just pay real professionals extra for nicer lashes lol read more

I am reviewing the 86th street location here. I used to go here when I have arrived last year in India (and have not discovered Om Threading Salon in the city). I still go here in emergency or when I am not able to go in to the city for a long time. They are nice hardworking girls who work together. I recommend this place. read more

I have been going to this place since I moved to NYC in 2016. I availed there services in the city and then when I moved to Brooklyn I am still with them. The girl name Saleema is the by far the best. She has very good hands and got a facial done from her and knew the pressure points and everything. I've gone here for the past 3 years with my friend and Mubby is our go to. I'm always happy with the shape and both my brows are even and it's relatively painless. I usually look from outside to see if she's around because I went in once and the older lady did my brows and I was very unhappy with it. My brows were uneven and they were more of a crescent shape. She was very harsh with the threading and the string snapped on my eye. But Mubby is amazing. Definitely recommend her. read more

I came here to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. Threading was ok, nothing special. But the tinting was not good. When the lady was tinting my brows she did it very sloppy, she went over past my brows onto my skin. Therefore, my skin was tinted. She then proceeded to use alcohol to rub my brows. When she was done there were still tinted marks on my skin and she just said its going to come off when I was my face. very unprofessional. i rather pay more money and get it done the right way. This place operates on no kind of liability. They are not professionals. They messed up my eyebrows. I asked to tint me eyebrows light brown to match my blond hair. I am naturally light featured. Instead, they tinted in black. When I asked to make it lighter, as it did not match my complexion, they said that it was unfixable. I asked for store credit or money back, they refused. completely unreliable place. This business operates on inhuman and cheap principals. This place do not care about customers. Out of desperation, I came into this threading salon because I was too lazy to go to my usual spot. BAD MISTAKE. There was only one other female getting her eyebrows done when I stopped by. There were only two workers. I told one of them I just wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned but, somehow she decided to make her on arch. I have to admit it didn't hurt, but she did not do what I asked. She made one eyebrow higher than the other, did not clean the sides well, and left stubble. The total cost was $8.00. I will not be going back here again. read more
