The staff member who did my eyebrows in my most recent visit seemed to have the sniffles; for a job where your face is so close to customers' and where you also need to come into close contact with them, I don't think it's good to have staff come to work if they're sick. Vibe: Place is small and there's often a short wait because this is a popular place. They have about four seats but only two people working at once. Place is generally kept clean. I got my eyelashes done, asked for the same thing I got the last times I'd been there (they had it in the system). I've had them done in the past so I knew how to take care of them and was especially hyper-vigilant this time. I noticed a little bit of fall out at first but I trusted the studio and a little fallout is normal so I did not think much of it. However, 8 days after having my eyelashes done, I woke up and realized that one of my eyes barely had any lashes on at all. My eyelashes looked terrible and it was extremely noticeable the difference between the two eyes. I called the studio ASAP and after trying to resolve this, they told me that all I could do was pay for a 2 week touch up and they would fill all my lashes. I was not pleased with the shape initially (which I have stated was not their fault) so paying $70 for a touch up less than ten days after having them done just to get the same shape was absurd. To fix this, they then offered me a 10% discount on a new set so it would be $108, 9 days after I got them done which was upsetting since less than ten days ago I paid that much for a full set that should've lasted me around 4 weeks like it did in the past. I was embarrassed to walk out of the house with my eyes looking so uneven, and I ended up going and getting them removed since my frustrations were not being heard or taken seriously. This studio does not understand that I have done nothing wrong, nearly an entire eye of eyelashes should not have fallen off eight days after having them done, this is clearly an issue in the application process and I should not be expected to pay nearly full price for a new set not even two weeks after getting my initial set. By the time I got back they were ready. The front desk receptionist Rashida (sorry if I misspelled your name) was great! Greeted me with a smile, showed me how to check in and even check in by her was AMAZING! Now for the in between waxing experience. Amy came in and did the standard procedure. She gave me a mirror for the part she finished but not the next part to check. When I got home I still had spots that were not taken care of that I had to do myself. I am paying for a service. If I wanted to do it at home I would've. I had wax all over me and even on my phone. Honestly the only reason I would come back is because of Sunny and the receptionist tonight. I have thin brows to begin with. The woman (a Latina woman, do not know her name) did a terrible job. Shape and arch were all off, not aligned at all and the arch is horrible. My advice is to stick to the other locations. Guess I'll have to try to correct as much as I can when I get home with my pencil!!! ***update** the owner Rinku contacted me very shortly after I posted the review to apologize and ask if I wanted to come back to have it fixed. She also offered the next service free of charge. Very nice of her and good customer service on her part, however, in my opinion, all the technicians should be properly trained in all advertised services. If they are not trained then they should advise customers to wait for a different, more experienced technician for that particular service.
