Mahi mahi was a lilttle overcooked and dry but the seasoning was good. The polenta was very good. The asparagus wayyy overcooked to the point of no flavor and was very very flimsy. The flank steak was seasoned well, cooked medium rare as requested. Thank you. Service was at good on a busy Friday night. Gotta say though their drinks were purrty good. I kind of question though if this place has an identity crises. Is it supposed to be a restaurant? A sports bar? Or a club/lounge? The ambiance was speak easy and warm which was nice. They do not take reservations so we took our chances on a Saturday night, only waited about 20 minutes. We thought we were off to a good start but the service was pretty slow. I would say the server did the absolute minimum. I had to remind her to take our order, and then had to ask someone else to cash us out. She walked by while I was waiting for another server to cash me out and didn't even acknowledge that she should have followed up with us and take our bill. The food was pretty good, they give you yummy focaccia bread to start and we actually got the poutine which had smoked pork instead of beef. I was happy to see Mahi Mahi on the menu and I liked how they prepared it with a Mediterranean flair. Got there on a Saturday at 6pm. Had no reservations. As I approached the hostess she tells me it will be an hour for a table for two in a tone that made me think she didn't want me to say I'd wait. But my hubby and I decided we would grab a drink at the bar that totes itself as a speakeasy and would be seated soon thereafter. Bar was jam packed but bartenders were quick to take our order. Two cocktails for $25. Typical prices. Drinks were good, and we found somewhere to sit in the lounge are, which was quite busy. I sure felt bad for the one and only waitress handling that section. They played some retro 80s and 90s music videos on a large screen which entertained us for a while. Music there was very loud so don't expect to hold a convo. Eventually I started to get hungry and cranky. After waiting about 80 mins we asked how long it would be and we were told it would be another 20 mins. I was ready at that point to go to McDonald's next door, but our pager went off and we were seated. From there we ordered three apps....wings which were kinda soggy...calamari which was good and pastrami sliders which had a funky tasting cheese on top that I literally spit out into a napkin. I really enjoy coming to Precinct 10. Laid back atmosphere. There is a dining area, a bar, and some high top areas. Lots of large screen TV's. The food is very good! I love their onion soup. The only ding to keep it from being a 5 star review is portion size can vary from visit to visit and a couple of times my sides needed to be sent back because they were not hot. Found this new place. It has only been open a couple of weeks. I think they need to work the bugs out. Were told it was a 45 minute wait. We sat at the bar, it was pretty busy and took some time for a bartender to recognize we were there. In the 10 minutes we sat at the bar, there was lots of broken glass and disorganization. The tender was pleasant, but was hustling. We got seated a bar high-top within 10 minutes or so, that was a bonus! The waitress initially came over to us quickly, but we hadn't had time to look at the menu. She was very friendly, and checked on us again in about 15 minutes. We placed an order for an Appetizer, while waiting for the App, runners came to us 3 times with other tables Apps. The App (tater tot Poutine) was really really good! Our food took a long time to get to the table, about 40 minutes. I had the smoked sampler. I think the smoker is gas powered as the taste of the smoke was like too high propane. Or the wood used was too smokey, as the food had a gas or carbon flavor. The chicken had an over powering taste of this carbon/gas flavor. The ribs were inedible, as they were cooked at too high a temp and the bark, was burnt. There was very little meat on the ribs that were soft and smokey. The brisket, was tender, but had that carbon flavor. The sausage was really very good. the tater tots were really yummy, though I wish there were other options for sides, like a veggie or something other than tots. We also had the duck, but found the risotto side to be underdone and didn't have the creamy consistency expected in a risotto. The mushrooms were also under done. The duck was very good. the atmosphere was really lovely. The little seating area looks cozy and a nice way to wait for your table to be ready. Because it is a new place I will give it another chance. I am hoping to return in a month or so, to see if the kinks have been ironed out. read more

Kevin has run several good restaurants including 42 Degrees North, Stockholders and some other places. Food at Kevin's restaurants is always good. The food at Precinct 10 is very good. I went th other night for dinner with office colleagues for a Christmas dinner. We ordered the bourbon wings-small but tasty. We also order chicken with lettuce wraps-very good My entre was Paella - Very tasty. Food 5 Atmosphere is fun-lot"s TVs and cool decor. Cool. Service was very slow. Friendly but painfully slow - the kind of slow that gives you pain. Bottom line is good food, but the service will undo this place if not corrected. read more

They have a prohibition theme and have 90s music on the stereo. There are large television is everywhere and I'm quite certain you didn't have those in that era. The Decour is very cool less of the televisions. The food I will say it was very very good. I had the swordfish special with the Therese oh mashed potato patty and it was very good. The server was trying very very hard but it was clear he had not had a ton of training. He was very nervous even though we were a very laid-back couple. It just goes to show you can put a ton of money into making it establishing beautiful and not take the time to train the staff and the Decour can only go so far. We were surprised by the location in a strip mall. We read all the great reviews and gave it a shot and it was fantastic. We started with fun drinks the Bees Knees, Grandpa's Mexican Friend and a dry Beefeater Martini - all beautifully made. We split the Eggplant Fries with an excellent marinara sauce for an appetizer. Our entrees were the Prime rib that came with two sides and it was huge and perfectly cooked and seasoned, the Berry beat salad was very good and the Pan Seared Sea Scallops which had enough lobster to feed the table was wonderful. The portions were huge and the quality was excellent. We are already planning a return on Tuesday for the Chicken Parmigiana special. read more

Went here this past Sunday afternoon with my wife. She got the blackened chicken pasta and I had the chicken parm. We also ordered the Rhode Island calamari for an appetizer. Marissa was our server and she was fabulous - very helpful and attentive. She was actually the best part of our experience at Precinct 10 because the food was not that great. I will say that the bread that we got before our food arrived was very good - like a very light and fluffy focaccia bread (maybe I'm completely off base about this, but when the bread you serve in your restaurant is the best part of the meal, I think there are problems!). The calamari was very bland - no seasoning or flavor at all. The only thing that gave it any kick were the hot peppers that accompanied the dish. My wife thought her blackened chicken pasta was OK - lots of sauce and very little chicken. My chicken parm was the worst chicken parm I have ever had. The chicken was extremely thin - I would say the same thickness as the breading that it was fried in. Also, a good portion of the "chicken" was actually just breading and cheese - there was no chicken in at least half the portion of what was supposed to be chicken! So instead of getting a good-sized chunk of breaded chicken that has been fried and topped with cheese and marinara sauce, I got a small portion of chicken and an equal portion of cheese and sauce that was presented in such a way as to make it look like the piece of chicken was huge. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or what. I mean, did they think I wouldn't notice? In addition, the marinara sauce tasted burnt - just a bad flavor. I ate a couple bites of the chicken and had some pasta and that was it for me - didn't take the leftovers home - not worth it. I had heard some good news about Precinct 10 but my opinion is that the food is not good at all. Well, the bread is good so at least you have that to look forward to if you go there! Food is def good. I witnessed owner yelling in employees' faces. Also saw owner tell bartenders to shut someone off. Made them do his dirty work. Then came back and asked if they were gone.... felt like it was really shady. Checked out Precinct 10 yesterday with my mom and sister for lunch. Jess was our waitress and she was wonderful. The clam chowder was simply amazing! I highly recommend the beef tips (I got them with butternut squash and potato). The pecan pie cheesecake for dessert was delightful. This place is dark and gloomy! The prices are astronomical! I'm not sure what all the great reviews are about. The service isn't good. The fact that there are no windows in this place, makes it not appealing. I would rather go to the old standby the 99. At least the prices are reasonable, and there is a nice atmosphere. February 22, 2020 Told we would have a 40 minute wait, an hour and ten minutes later we were seated. We were seated at a booth somewhat close to the door. WELL, the doors kept being held open making our seats very cold. When manager came over, I discussed how cold it was. His response was, "There's nothing I can do about it!" He said it with a kind of wise guy attitude. The waitress was very nice and did a very good job. At least she was apologetic and understanding about the cold. Food was just okay. When I asked if I could get the butternut squash ravioli without the shrimp because I'm ALLERGIC she said 'no problem'. Had dinner there last night with a large group (19 of us). First off, our server Erica was phenomenal. Very attentive with drinks, checking back with us, taking the food orders ( and as you can imagine, with 19 people, there were several changes), delivering the food all together & separate checks!! This was our first time here and our waitress Taylor made it a great evening out. Don't let the location, in a sparsely occupied shopping center deter you. The restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Taylor's recommendations and descriptions were excellent. Everything was delicious! We had the bbq platter which could have fed at least 2 people, Braised short ribs, Scallop risotto and the Taco trio. In addition the maple bacon brussel sprouts were fantastic. I saw the prime rib and seafood platter go by and will try those next time. There's tons of tv's with lots of sports to watch. More importantly you could enjoy a conversation which is rare in many restaurants these days. We left before the dj got started but we'll be back soon. I flagged her down 10 mine later for an ice water. The decor in side is interesting and well done. The wait for the food was long but the food was very good. I was with a group of 6 and 1 kid. Everyone like their food a lot. The fried chicken was said to be spicy and was not spicy at all that was the only complaint from our group. Other food out group got was steak tips, smokehouse platter, Boston schrod, and I got the mahi ceviche tacos and the mussels with the red sauce they were both delicious. My niece had the Mac and cheese and French fries the Mac is basically kraft Mac and cheese but she was happy. Over all we will be back! Came here for lunch with a friend the other day, and everything was great! We both got the Cajun Swordfish Bites, which is a risotto dish with minced vegetables in the rice, encircled with good sized chunks of melt-in-your-mouth swordfish. It doesn't look huge on the plate, but it was so filling, I probably should have taken half of it home. Steve was our server, and he was friendly, professional, and attentive. I'd recommend requesting him. This is a relatively new restaurant, and I was very impressed with the renovation job they did. They've got a Prohibition-era thing going, and it works very well. We called early to make a reservation. As soon as we walked in and gave the name we were seated, no wait at all which was great. That was the only good part of our night. We were seated and told the waitress would be right over. 12 minutes later a waitress, Tanya T., finally comes to the table to get our drink order. Ok not so bad. THEN It took 50 Minutes from the time we sat down to get bread and actually had to ask for it when she finally brought our drinks. Instead of apologizing, which would have been understandable, she said it was in the oven. However, the table next to us had 2 rounds of bread before we got one. She never gave us water refills. So I took a bottle out of my purse and refilled it myself. I would have asked for a refill but she never came over to the table to check on us. She had a large table behind us but it didn't seem like she could handle multiple tables, or at least she didn't care to, as she didn't come to check in even though she walked by several times. It took 2 hours to get food. When the food came out, she never brought me my sides. She never came to see how everything came out. She finally came over for a water refill and that is when I asked for my sides. The food had no flavor and was bland. We've been here before and tonight (dinner for a birthday celebration) was us "giving it another chance." We're all set and will never return. read more
